Ultra Balls and no other ball anymore!

After being able to buy Ultra Balls do you still using Poke and Great Balls or do you always throw Ultra Balls for a sucess catch?

Well, ever since the beginning I had my team planned up, plus I like to lower the health to red before trying to catch it, making Ultra Balls kind of pointless in my opinion, since a Pokeball or great Ball could do just fine without being as expensive.
Plus, when I got 5 badges, I didn't need to catch anymore Pokemon, if I did, it was one or two.

I used to throw the best ball I could. Until I caught Groudon in a regular Pokeball back in Ruby. Now, I buy 10 of each ball and toss them all! I prefer Pokeballs though, because they're the most common one.

To be honest, there comes a point in the game where you could buy literally all of Japan. Price matters none.

Once Ultra Balls are available, I still use leftover Poke Balls and Great Balls for lower leveled wild Pokemon on occasion, but I rarely go out of my way to restock on them.

i cant in fully concur with the last part.
when I caught Victini early in the game i ran out of all pkballs and resorted to a net ball(i think).

sure i use Ultra balls but i find that i use Pokeballs somehow in conjunction to where I am - LIKE if its night time or Im in cave Ill still opt to use a Dusk ball.
or a Net ball If Im on water..

I even still work with a status enducing team and try to catch with Heal balls.
