Re: academy or swimming?
Well, swimming will make you survive in case you got lost into an island. Academy will give you knowledge about everything. In other words, you may practice both of these if you can, but if you really need to choose one, choose the one that really fits your personality.
If you love reading, being alone, and informations, go for Academy, if you're an athletic type of person, go for swimming(^^)

Swampert Guy, next time use the edit function and don't double post. ;)
In any case, that's fine. It's not like Discussions is supposed to be only about debate. It seemed like at least quite a serious advice issue for you in any case.

Its up to you as long as you follow what your heart wants(^^)

Re: academy or swimming?
with a academy you learn everything you need to know, which somewhere along the road you will learn what to do if you ever get stranded at sea. Getting swimming downpat and THEN go for academy.
