(Can we just pull out the Anime canon a little and say that he got the Charmander from the Celadon City Pokemon Center? Pokemon Centers handed out Starters in the Anime as well, and I don't like the past/future going-ons in Blue.)

Well, on the other hand, what else would you call the Trio Inn?

Max looks around
"I dont know what else they could call it...also I dont think we have a room number..Oh wait i have an idea. Lets head to the pokemon center."

Max takes off running towards the pokemon center.

After the transfer red team takes off again towards the Trio Hotel. Max calls out the Haunter.

Max looks at Scar who releases the ghastly he caught for the older man.

"Go with Ghastly and find his owner. Be careful not to scar anyone. Check every room. Again be careful not to scare anyone. Scar we should also go in with Charlie, maybe he can find him."

"maybe its just the reflection of light?..either way. The spirit went into the pokeball. Scar didnt catch it. Well not that I remember. The man will be happy and he can release it ! "

Red Team makes there way into the hotel. They sneak past security.

" So I guess we go one floor at a time."

Max shakes his head.
"Thats why we had to sneak passed them, we dont even know the name of the guy! "

Max looks at Scar
"youve been way to quite ! and not much help."

Scar releases Charlie. Max looks at Charlie.
"Find your owner !"

Charlie takes off running smelling its way up and down the halls. floor to floor. Until finally in the second building they find the room.

Hopefully we didn't make an awful mistake. I mean, Scar's soul aside, we do not know WHAT'S going on here, with this friend and all, aside from what we've been told. It's easy to fake what you appear as with some practice, no matter who you are.

...I wonder if they can even communicate.

Once Charlie reaches the door. Max pauses for a moment, then knocks.

He didn't say for Scar to go into another dimension, he just said find his friend. He probably didn't know, but it's more or less what he does with this 'friend' that I'm warning abo-*hear's Max knocking*

After a few knocks he hears nothing.
"uhh sir.."
Looks at Markus as if he knows the guys name. He turns around and knocks again.
"guy we met in the under ground passage ..."

He reaches down to check the handle. He finds that the door is unlocked. Charlie pushes the door open and max follows slowly behind.

Max follows Charlie in to find the room is a wreck. He hears something move..
"Charlie ! "
Charlie jumps in front to protect him. A mans voice shouts out.
"Please take whatever you like, I dont have much money !"

Charlie runs over and the old man stands up.
"Oh no, you boys arrived at the wrong time."

While he is talking the elevator rings down the hall and two men in black suits get off the elevator. The only cover in the hall is a maids cleaning cart.

"Team Rocket is here, in this hotel. They've been looking for something. You have to hide !"
