Description
Route 5 is on the edge of Eternity Forest. The east side is well lit and breezy as travellers approach Dawn Bay and the peninsula. Route 5 is a relatively bright route after the darkness of the forest. Sun-loving Grass-types can be found along the path and the rocky outcrop to the south is home to Rock-types.

"Welp, we made it to Route 5, guys. Let's see what we can find on this Route." Minako said looking around. Marley, Ishiyama, Kami-chan, and Rukari follow, Ama-chan is on Minako's shoulders, Sora is flying overhead. All 7 are on the lookout for anything that could be useful.

"Wild Aron, huh? Marley, this one's yours!" Marley jumped in front of the Aron, ready to battle. "Use Flame Wheel!"

Marley hit Aron with Flame Wheel and the Aron wobbled back. It used Take Down and hit Marley with some decent damage.

"Use Crunch this time!" Marley used Crunch and it weakened Aron some more and making it flinch. Aron stood there flinching.

"Now's our chance! Go, Heal Ball!" The Heal Ball sucked Aron inside. The ball shook once, twice, 3 times and...

"Aron, your new nickname is Kokodora. You'll be in the PC with Kusako until we get to Aurora City." Minako said as Kokodora's Heal Ball was magically sent to the PC. "We have some energy left to burn, so let's explore the rest of the Route!" Her party followed, in hopes of finding something good.

"Holy... WILD EMOLGA!!! SQUEEEE!!!!" Minako jumps for joy and squeals while her team covers their ears. "Ishiyama, this one's yours!" Ishiyama waddles in front of the Emolga.

"Bold-ore!"

"Use Power Gem!" Since Emolga was faster, it used Electro Ball and hit Ishiyama for some damage. Ishiyama threw the gems at the Emolga, causing it to stop flying. Emolga then tries to use Acrobatics on Ishiyama, but it only did little damage.

"One more Power Gem!" Emolga was too exhausted to move so Ishiyama hit it with one more Power Gem, this time, it knocked Emolga onto its back.

"Now's our chance! Go, Great Ball!" Minako said throwing the Great Ball at Emolga. The Great Ball sucked Emolga inside. The ball shook once, twice, 3 times and...

"Ugh, stay in the ball, Emolga." Minako said, a stern look on her face. "Fine then, I have no choice. Ishiyama, use Stone Edge!" Ishiyama fired Stone Edge at Emolga, knocking it out.

Wild Emolga fainted!

"Little annoyance. Well, let's see what else is here."

Currently: Entering Route 5.

Route 5 was a lot different to the other routes. Finally we were out of the cover of trees and into open space. I bet the variety of Pokemon here was even more diverse due to the landscape.

The other Pokemon in my Poke Balls, Pleasant floated beside me. "Where to now, Eti?"

"Aurora City. They have a gym there."

"Oh, cool." Pleasant grinned at me. "Will I be participating?"

"Haha, I haven't worked the team out yet but I'll consider it." I looked towards the path ahead of us. "Celestia sure is big, isn't it?"

"It sure is."

The goal of Aurora Town set in sight, we began to make our way across Route 5. The air tasted different here - less fresh, probably due to the lack of trees. Somehow, it felt good. I hadn't been in an area such as this before.

"Man, this route sure is boring." Pleasant sighed. We hadn't come across anything for a while.
