I do think we need something more than just new Pokemon. Sure, they're interesting for a while, but the same story over and over gets stale after a while... Black and White had a more engaging plot than a lot of the earlier generation games, but there is so much more that could have been done with it. I really hope BW2 builds on that.

So yes, I definitely think just creating new Pokemon isn't enough without coming up with new and interesting ways to play. It's one reason why I love spin-off games so much (and generally more than the main series games).
