Alright guys, this year is going to be different. We, your beloved ASB officials, need a bit of help. We're unsure what holidays are worth celebrating! As someone who lives in the US, I don't know much about European/Canadian/Australian/other holidays. :c

So here's what your task is: Post important holidays that occur in your country. Obviously, things like Groundhog Day aren't worth mentioning, but large holidays like Christmas are. So post below and I'm really tired don't judge the retardedness of this thread please I'm sorry I'm a failure I just want you to love me.

Do you guys do St Patrick's Day?

St Andrew's Day is a big thing in Scotland, and I've heard that St Andrew is the patron saint of other countries as well.

There's Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day...BOY, MEMORY LOSS SURE CAN BE FUN. I'll post here when my mind suddenly decides to remember any other holidays.

Canada isn't much different from the USA... I think the only differences are when our Thanksgiving are. I'm not counting things such as Canada Day as we didn't do a 4th of July event last year as I recall...

So we have:

New Years
Valentines Day
St. Patricks Day [It's more heavily celebrated in some provincs than others.]
Easter
Mothers/Fathers Day
Thanksgiving
Halloween
Remembrance Day
Christmas
Boxing Day

I think that's about in order. Funny thing about Canada is that some provinces have their own holiday... >< We also have things, as I said before, such as Canada Day, Victoria Day, Earth Day but those aren't very major.

Yes, Sabi, we didn't do an 4th of July event last year, because we felt that since it was a US only holiday, it wouldn't be fair to people who don't celebrate. Should we do a July 4th event this year?

4th of July sounds good. I would suggest MLK Day, but that's a US-Only holiday. :P How about Pancake Day? THAT IS A REAL HOLIDAY, I AM NOT KIDDING.
