yeah, you can. I do it all the time. And it hatchs faster!

I dont know what you mean, but you can trade from the English cart to the *** cart.

So English R/s can trade to *** Lg/Fr, you just need to ge tto one of the islands. But it could mess up your game. I suggest you make eggs and trade them over.......Thats a hint I got off anthour site.

you definitly can. Although the best way to hatch is to put the egg in the #1 position in your party

Yes, FR/LG supports Ruby and Sapphire Pokes. And when you trade an egg it will have your ID and Name.

NO, here's the trick Thunderbird.


Say you are ID 12271
You trade an egg, the egg will have
Trainer ID ?????, which stands for unknown no.
So when the egg hatches, it will say, 12271, which means no matter what level you raise that numbered Pokemon, it will not disobey.

But if you traded for Pokemon say 12542, and in being 12271, the Pokemon will start disobeying. I traded for a Mudkip, but did not trade it in its egg and it was disobeying by level 11. I was lucky to get off one Hydro Pump in the first gym.

That's why it's best to either shark or trade for eggs. The eggs work out great on Crystal, I raised a Dratini by the time I took on Claire.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but no you CANNOT start off with all of these level 5 pokemon from sapphire/ruby. The earliest you can get these sapphire/ruby pokemon into your games is when you get the sapphire and ruby plates which you cannot not obtain until you get to the new islands which you cannot get to until after you beat Blaine, which if you all remember, IS THE 7TH GYM. If you want all of the info, go to "serebii.net" they are the best site for all of this new info on fire red and leaf green.

Does that mean i cannot trade RS pokemon over until i obtain a national pokedex?

Oh, it doesn't matter. I can still trade over the old RBY Pokemon in RS.

EDIT: AWW yes, i checked serebii.net and it said i can only trade with RS/Collosseum only AFTER i defeated the elite four...too bad
