However I don't want someone who has no idea wehat they are doing giving away free advice... so I'll test you.

Delcatty
Hariyama

Magnetric

If you pass the test can you make me a team that is centered around BP, Hazer, and Curser. The BPer can be a Scizor.

Default Re: The "Get a team here" Thread

i'm not all too great on UU and NU pokemon but OU i'm quite the beast, but i'll give your team a shot pika57. i'm a two year netbattler so i do know my **** tbh

Delcatty (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Cute Charm
EVs: 80 HP / 252 Atk / 100 Spd / 78 SDef
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Thunder Wave
- Heal Bell
- Double-Edge
- Wish
delcatty is a wannabe blissey. that stabbed double edge is nothing to laugh about though. its defenses are horrid so try to stay alive and pass wish to stuff like absol

Absol (F) @ Choice Band
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 252 Atk / 152 Spd / 104 SAtk
Brave Nature (+Atk, -Spd)
- Double-Edge
- Aerial Ace
- Shadow Ball
- Thunder
591 attack. don't mess unless you're a moron. thunder to catch skarmory on the switch and it also has rain dance support from seaking which hopefully shouldn't die

Chimecho (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 136 HP / 120 Def / 252 SAtk
Quiet Nature (+SAtk, -Spd)
- Psychic
- Calm Mind
- Hidden Power [Electric]
- Rest
lol chimeco

Hariyama (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Guts
EVs: 90 HP / 252 Atk / 168 SDef
Sassy Nature (+SDef, -Spd)
- Focus Punch
- Rock Slide
- Hidden Power [Ghost]
- Bulk Up
its defense is being boosted by bulkup, use focuspunch if you can predict if not i suggest brickbreak. hp:ghost to catch things like gengar who ruin your fun. more sdef to pretect against stuff like celebi and alakazam,

Seaking (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Swift Swim
EVs: 152 HP / 104 Spd / 252 SAtk
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Hydro Pump
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- Ice Beam
- Rain Dance
raindancer. rain dance and sweep. it gets 198 speed to outspeed 130 base speeders like aero and jolteon. hit with a 270 base powered hydropump for some major damage

Manectric (M) @ Salac Berry
Trait: Static
EVs: 184 HP / 72 Spd / 252 SAtk
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Thunder
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Crunch
- Substitute
you have the rain dance support to use thunder. substitute so you can hopefully kill those dugtrios that are usual switch in to electric attack predictions. salac berry for a sweeping attempt when you get to low hp. 180 base attack from thunder is nothing to laugh about really. 264 to outspeed those 130 basers with salac.

k i hope this passes your "test"

Houndoom (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Early Bird
EVs: 64 HP / 192 Spd / 252 SAtk
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Flamethrower
- Pursuit
- Will-O-Wisp
maybe you'll cripple **** with will-o-wisp assuming your opponent doesn't have a counter for it. hiddenpower:ice usually OHKOs salamence, which is an extremely common switch in. hopefully you'll switch this in on celebi and alakazam and hurt them pretty bad on their way out with pursuit

Tyranitar (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Sand Stream
EVs: 86 HP / 252 Atk / 172 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Dragon Dance
- Hidden Power [Rock]
- Earthquake
- Taunt
skarmory can't touch this with taunt. after two DDs you'll have 400 speed which outspeeds 394ers like aero and company. go rockslide over hiddenpower if you don't mind the hax

Umbreon (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Synchronize
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Def / 252 SDef
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Wish
- Substitute
- Mean Look
- Curse
seriously hope you don't die because this is the only thing on your team that can take hits at all. pass curses to stuff if you want. PASS WISH IF YOU WANT THIS TEAM TO LAST MORE THAN 20 TURNS!

Shiftry (F) @ Choice Band
Trait: Early Bird
EVs: 208 HP / 252 Atk / 48 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Brick Break
- Quick Attack
- Aerial Ace
- Shadow Ball
CBer. quick attack for reversal users. shadowball will OHKO alakazam and gengar. brickbreak should OHKO tyranitar. aerial ace for heracross switch ins which may happen. if you dont hit with aerial ace when heracross switches in, run

Absol (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 96 HP / 252 Atk / 112 Def / 48 SDef
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Swords Dance
- Shadow Ball
- Body Slam
- Baton Pass
after one SD, absol has a 788 attack power. you don't freaking mess with that. baton pass the fun to shiftry if you really want to mess **** up(which by the way has a 984 attack power with the swords dance)

Cacturne (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Sand Veil
EVs: 252 HP / 36 Atk / 220 Def
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Leech Seed
- Spikes
- Giga Drain / Focus Punch
- Substitute
yeah its a faggotassed technique to use. leechseed, sub, drain, all while you have a 1/8 chance of not being hit. cacturne can also be an attacker but meh you need the tank really. focus punch **** if you're scared of blissey and lax which you should be

so this team dies to heracross. all darks die to heracross tbh. just hope you can manage to hit heracross with houndoom or tyranitar on the switch of something.

Okay... how about a team with Sceptile, Groudon, Snorlax, Crawdaunt, Skarmory and Armaldo? Requirements-

Snorlax must have Return/Belly Drum combo.
Groudon must have Solar Beam.

I hope I haven't cut your options too much... if you can do this, it'll be great. Thanks.

Sceptile (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Overgrow
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Spd / 252 SAtk
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Solar Beam
- Substitute
- Leech Seed
- Hidden Power [Ice]
standard sceptile. 180 base power from solar beam will kill stuff especially with groudon support. giving sceptile solarbeam was much wiser than wasting groudon's digustingly massive attack strength ;)

Snorlax (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Thick Fat
EVs: 252 HP / 68 Atk / 80 Def / 108 SDef
Brave Nature (+Atk, -Spd)
- Belly Drum
- Return
- Earthquake
- Rest
no chesto because skarmory and other roaring crap can come in on you and just screw all your efforts, but leftovers helps in the long run

Groudon @ Choice Band
Trait: Drought
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Overheat / Thunder Wave
- Earthquake
- Hidden Power [Bug]
- Rock Slide
this is how to use a groudon thunderwave first so you can hopefully cripple teams, then sweep with it =)

Armaldo (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Battle Armor
EVs: 180 HP / 116 Atk / 72 Def / 140 SDef
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Rock Blast
- Hidden Power [Bug]
- Swords Dance
- Rapid Spin
5/6 of the team is hurt by spikes, so rapidspin will help. STABed SDed rock blast will hurt like meh. hiddenpower:bug for some more STAB.

Skarmory (M) @ (No Item)
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 196 HP / 60 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Drill Peck
- Roar
- Spikes
- Rest
skarmory. switch in on heracross and stuff like that. lay your spikes and keep roaring to damage teams some more

Crawdaunt (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Hyper Cutter
EVs: 228 Atk / 44 Spd / 238 SAtk
Naughty Nature (+Atk, -SDef)
- Swords Dance
- Return
- Crunch
- Hidden Power [Rock]
didn't give this guy surf because of groudon's ability and its more fun to kill random psychics with crunch anyways. at this point he has a 366 attack without SD, and with one it becomes 732. even without STAB, you don't mess with that

k

off topic:
Trainer Melmet, just post a new topic to get your team rated, and don't post stats either. the point of posting your team for rate is to get stuff changed, but stats can't be changed, so yeah don't waste your time with that =\ only attacks, and items are necessary. trait and nature for ADV teams also.

Lapras (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Water Absorb
EVs: 16 HP / 252 Atk / 92 Spd / 148 SAtk
Brave Nature (+Atk, -Spd)
- Dragon Dance
- Hidden Power [Ground]
- Ice Beam
- Substitute

Build me a team around this dude.

Mehmet is a troll who can't read so don't pay too much attention to him. He has this habit of posting in the Strategies and Movesets board with a whole bunch of trivial information that's essentially common sense - like how Thunderbolt is good on Ampharos and such.

Thunder and Thunderpunch on Ampharos? You make me giggle.

Do us all a favor and stop posting here. This is for COMPETITIVE battling, and you obviously have no experience in that field.

Anyway, I would like to see the following team:

- Kangaskhan
- Gorebyss
- Donphan
- Jynx
- Cradily
- Seviper

Hehe.
