Can you catch a pidgeotto in Yellow? - Pokemon Forum

I keep searching Viridian Forest for a pidgeotto but I still can't find one. Could someone tell me if they really live in viridian forest?

alternatively you could tradeone from red or blue where they show up in abundance.

You can't catch Pidgeotto in Viridian Forest in Red and Blue...

I thought they only put Pidgeotto in Viridian Forest for Yellow Version?

How could R/B have them show up in abundance?

I figured they put it in that game only to make it seem more like the television series, pidgeotto, pikachu, etc.

you can all so find pidgeotto in routes:5,6,7,8,11,12,13,14,15,21,24,& 25. if you need more info, just go to pokemonlite2000.com/v2pokedex

You can find it there. Once, a very long time ago, when I was only level 8 or so, a level 16 pidgeotto appeared. I was killed instantly...

that depends on witch virsion you are playing. if you are playing yellow virsion, then yes, you can find it their and other plases too, but in red and yellow, no, you can't find it "thier", but their are other plases as well. if you need more info, just go to: pokemonlite2000.com/v2pokedex

Pidgeotto are all over in both Red, Blue and Yellow, but Yellow is the only one where they're found in Viridian forest (mainly to complement with Ash's catching one there in the animé).
