Angry IV Help

My thread was deleted the last time and I was really mad about it.

It was a thread about Fast egg hatching. I just discovered faster ways to hatch the egg.

How do you make it so that you can get Pokemon with better IVs? I tried making sure I've been calculating correctly. Maybe Helioptile didn't finish his Speed EV training. I've been using the Super Training on the menu like everyone else, but some Pokemon don't want to do it.

I remember one time on Pokemon XD that I used an Ursaring and an Ampharos. It'd benefit me more if those two had minus Speed natures but powered up their good sides like Attack and Special Attack. Today, I caught a Mareep with a Lax nature. That's not nearly as good as that, but it was the only female in Y.

Did anyone think that Fast Egg hatching was cheating? I want to be able to tell how the stats are while I'm still waiting for an IV calculator on my ipod regardless if I was banned or not at my school from using psypokes, the entire site has the IP banned from it which means I won't be able to use it from there.

I also heard Action Replay can help you get the stats you want, which is what I'm after as well.

Okay, so the most important thing for getting good IVs is the Judge in Kiloude City (which is post Elite Four). He will tell you exactly which IVs are 31s. For breeding, here's some items you may find helpful:

Everstone: Holder's nature will be the nature of all their children (B2W2XY) (in EDPPtHGSSBW it's 50% and mother only)
Destiny Knot: Instead of 3 IVs from parents being passed down, 5 IVs will be passed down. Doesn't matter which parent holds it, it will produce the same result either way. (XY only)
Power Items (EV Training ones): Can pass down the associated IV with that particular Power Item. HGSSBWB2W2XY only, can't remember if it's 50% or 100%. May have gone from 50% in older games to 100% in B2W2 like Everstone.

The abilities Flame Body and Magma Armor will increase egg hatching speed. There is also an O-Power for it which you can get in Lumiose once have every other O-Power and maximum style.

If you can trade for stuff with good IVs, or catch it in somewhere like a Friend Safari (guaranteed 2 perfect IVs), then breeding is a lot easier.

Additionally, Characteristic gives some hint about IVs. It says the highest IV, and whether that IV ends with 0/5, 1/6, 2/7, 3/8, or 4/9. Here's a list (from http://www.serebii.net/games/characteristics.shtml):

Faster egg hatching without use of an Action Replay or similar device isn't cheating. Anything that requires the use of an Action Replay is most certainly considered cheating. While it is possible for such a device to do things like give you perfect IV everything, I guarantee you will regret it. In the words of Rhunön, "When you can have anything you want by uttering a few words, the goal matters not, only the journey to it." Basically, if you can get anything you want without doing anything, then it all becomes pointless and boring.

Default Re: IV Help

Before I read this, last night, I forgot the Everstone for my female Heracross and two of them hatched to be a Timid nature. That one had an Adamant nature. I got one Hasty nature.

I didn't like the nature of my Skrelp either, but the final one turned out to be a Hasty nature and got fully EV trained in less than 6 hours, and is now on her way to turn into a Dragalge. When I didn't have the strategy guide, I didn't know that Pokemon along with Shellder can be fished out, but in X, I went back and surfed in around the same place to fish for a Wailmer.

I didn't know what to EV train in. I'm still trying to record stuff, but now the card is stuck in the camera, and it doesn't matter if I put it in right that time or not. I need to upload and save stuff onto my computer until I can get it on youtube. I haven't played very much because I've been busy, but I can get back to playing. I need to make a couple trades that I've failed attempted at in December.

I got my IV calculator, but it's an older one, the one I originally wanted and could've gotten two years ago. It doesn't have the gen 6 Pokemon on it, but it's really helpful when it comes to games that were out before 2013.

I figured out the IVs of my Wormadam on Y, and it's 8, 9, 10, 11 HP, 14, 15, 16, 17 Attack, 0 or 1 Defense, 10, 11, 12, 13 Special attack, 2, 3, 4, or 5 Special Defense, and 24, 25, 26, and 27 Speed. My Mothim on Y has 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 HP, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 Attack, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 Defense, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21 Special Attack, has HP Fire, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 Special Defense, and 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 Speed, all in terms of IVs. Not actual stats.

I used the Reset bag to reset it because I wasn't sure how many EVs they had. Still Kiloude City is a long way away and I'm catching up to where I was on X from Y. I'm not saving those because those Pokemon did have 252 EVs in at least one stat. If I gave one of them Destiny Knot, would the infant not have 31 IVs in anything? Wormadam has a Jolly nature, and Mothim has a Gentle nature. I also plan on breeding more Scatterbug or start to from my female Vivillion. I'll do that in the near future, but all my Pokemon were caught when I knew nothing about their IVs because I didn't have this handy dandy IV calculator or an ipod either.

I will not remember the IVs of any hatched Onix unless I write them down somewhere. Somehow, even at level 1, I can tell with Onix, but I don't know anything about Eevee. The first one, or not even actually the first, but the one to the far left in the last box is said to have up to 29 HP, I'm just going to forget it and cut it short because there are a lot of numbers, 31 Attack, 31 Defense, 31 Special Attack, 31 Special Defense, and 31 Speed, and it all came from that first Onix I caught which had 31 IVs in Speed and holding a Destiny Knot as of December 7, 2013. I just gave it that Destiny Knot to breed all these Onixes. The second one has 29 HP, 9 Attack, 31 Defense, 31 Special Attack, 31 Special Defense, and 31 Speed, the third one has 29 HP, 31 attack, 31 Defense with Bold nature, the other one before it had Lonely nature, 31 Special Attack, 31 Special Defense, and 31 Speed, fourth one with but with Impish nature, same, fifth one, 29 HP, 9 Attack, 31 Defense, 31 Special Attack, 31 Special Defense, and 31 Speed, sixth one, has a different characteristic from the rest of the family, 29 HP, 9 Attack, 31 Defense, 31 Special Attack, 31 Special Defense, and 31 Speed, seventh one, 29 HP, 31 Attack, 31 Defense, 31 Special Attack, 31 Special Defense, and 31 Speed, and final one, 29 HP, 9 Attack, 31 Defense, 31 Special Attack, 31 Special Defense, and 31 Speed. I still have more eggs in the party and I hope an Onix will hatch at level 1 soon with at least 12 HP, so it can have 31 IVs in the HP stat, even with the Sturdy or Rock Head ability.

My Onix are still breeding in the daycare making more Onixes today and as late as this afternoon, but my IV calculator on my iPod has proved to be very useful. If it's a gen six Pokemon, Ill have to use a website and since my IP is banned from psypokes, I'll have to go to serebii to look them up after I used the Reset Bags I've saved and provided for them. :)
