Two New Pokemon Revealed: Nyaruma and Mimiroru!

Two new Pokemon were revealed in a Japanese magazine. The cat-like Pokemon's name is Nyaruma (a normal type), and the rabbit-like Pokemon's name is Mimiroru (a normal type).

Nyaruma Revealed Before
This is the first time Nyaruma has been "officially" revealed. Earlier in the month, the Japanese online store, K-net, revealed a Pokemon calendar that included Nyaruma's image (09/01/06 news article). The image has since been removed from the online store (apparently they accidentally leaked it), but the image was saved here on the site so you can view it here: Pokemon Character Daily Calendar 2007 - Image. The calendar image was also the first to reveal the Chansey pre-evolution, Pinpuku, who was later officially revealed in the Coro Coro Magazine (09/12/06 news article).

Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl are scheduled to be released in Japan on September 28, 2006. The release date for the US is set for Spring 2007.

I'm going to take a "wait-and-see" stance regarding the bunny. It could be a fake released by somebody who wants to profit from the frenzy that's building up for the release of D/P (and the debut of all the new Pokemon).

Those new pokemon just get uglier with each new batch. Well, that's not entirely true. A few of the grass ones are nice, the new electric one that was a sihloette (sorry for the spelling) for a while and the Triceratops-ish Steel Fossil pokemon is really great I think. Sorry I didn't put any of the actual names since I don't know them, that gets annoying I know.

The cat looks kinda cool.... but the bunny.... meh.... the cotton looks weird around it. Reminds me of a poodle.

Spring 2007 is an earlier release than I thought.

I like them both. We never really had a bunny Pokemon. I know there was Azumarill, but it's not really rabbit.

Anyway, I hope the cat is an early catch like Skitty. I want it.

I like both of them but the Rabiit with the poodle looks a bit much but i still like it. I dont like that cats tail much but it might be great in battle.

I think the cat is still ugly and deserves the boot while I think the bunny looks kinda cute and promising.

The bunny Pokemon is Mimiroru (ミミロル), not Mimioru

Its abilities are Runaway and Clumsy (ぶきよう), and I wonder which side is going to be made Clumsy of, the foe or Mimiroru itself?

Sugomori art makes everything look better. I don't mind the cat as much now. My sister Emma is going to freak over the bunny, though. "Duncan, Duncan, make me another coloring sheet!" ... crap, I just let my name out on the internet. SO BAD!
