The Dark Council: A Wretched Hive of Scum and Villainy

The Dark Council is a free-willed, open-minded club which is open to the discussion of anything Star Wars (movies, video games, action figures & book related). We also openly discuss everything from the Metroid game series, to Bionicle and Mecha-anime, movies and games. We also freely go off course and talk about anything from daily lives.

For obvious reasons, the basic rules of the forum itself apply here, but we here at TDC only have five rules we'd really like to point out a few that we really wish-- and one we demand --you obey.

Though this club is free to talk about anything, and the members may act however they wish, there are a few simple rules which we ask everyone to abide by. By following these rules, you can further the enjoyment of this club for everyone.

1. Do not start problems
2. Do not start a Flame War (namely insulting the club or members)
3. Do not post images or links that could get this club closed (hentai, porn, disturbing images, etc)
4. You are free to change the subject, so long as it is not vulgar
5. Respect other peoples opinions, no matter how asinine they might be

Failure to obey these rules-- namely 1, 2, 4 & 5 --will result in warnings. You will receive only two warnings. If you get a third warning, you are permanently removed from the club and are forbidden to post here again.

Failure to obey #3 and you will be permanently removed from the club and instantly reported to a Global Moderator that's online. As far as we're concerned, this is the most important rule out of the five.

In conclusion; just don't act like a n00b, nub, noob-- however you want to spell it --just don't act like a total idiot. We're pretty lax here, but please don't push us to enforce these basic rules.

The Dark Council has a colorful history.

Originally, the club was named The Jedi Order. It remained as such for several months until one day, while the original leader-- ReclusiveDemon --was talking with Syrus, and Syrus brought up how there were almost no darkly themed clubs or WAR Teams. As a bit of a joke at first, RD changed the name of the club to it's current name, and it stuck because it had such a better ring to it.

It is the longest lasting club on Pokemon Elite 2000. Although there are ex-WAR Teams that have become clubs that are older than this club, technically TDC is the oldest and longest-lasting club. It was started as a club, has remained a club, and WILL remain as a club so long as it lasts.

Although it's unknown exactly how many times a new thread had to be made for The Dark Council when it was originally on the Proboards version of PE2k, it is estimated that it was remade over 4 times, each time being remade because the thread had reached over 100 pages.

ReclusiveDemon

ReclusiveDemon, also known as RD and Red, was the original creator and leader of The Dark Council. He was the main orchestrator of the first two RP's. Over the years, his activity has dwindled and he has disappeared several times without any explanation whatsoever. In early 2005, he relinquished command of the club over to Zero. Recently, he has become active again, but it is unknown for how long.

SavageDragon

SavageDragon, best known as simply SD, was perhaps the best member ever to join this club. He was also one of the very first members to join and remain active. When the original leader, ReclusiveDemon, had to take absence from the club because of internet issues because of a virus, SD became the temporary leader and kept the club alive for months while RD was able to sort things out. He was also the first Co-Leader and a major influence in the first days of the club. His efforts and work will never be forgotten by the original members.
