One Way or Another

“You cannot be serious!” JT yelled at his friend who told him about the new Pokemon roaming around town.

“Well I am!” John replied.

John and JT were inside of JT’s Goldenrod City Apartment. They were inside of the Green kitchen, which JT hated. He would much rather it be Blue or Orange. They were sitting at the Kitchen table talking about Pokemon. JT had Curly Brown hair with brown eyes, wearing a Blue Shirt, and Orange Shorts. JT did not like to be messed with, he had had a rough childhood, his father died a few years ago. John has Jet Black Hair and he's shorter then average, which JT always picked on him for.

"BANG!"

Something came flying through the window in to kitchen. It hit mom’s homemade Tea Pot. It fell off the top of the cabinet but JT let out his Clefable to catch it just before it hit the ground.

“Good thinking JT” John said to JT as he recalled Clefable.

“Now, THAT’S why I practice Baseball with my Pokemon” JT said and winked.

“Now JT, I have a plan to catch these new Pokemon that are coming to town” John said hoping that JT would actually listen to him.

“John, seriously, have you gone nuts!? Those Pokemon would never be able to get into Goldenrod” JT yelled at John who wasn’t really listening he was too worried about coming up with a plan to catch these Pokemon.

“John, let’s go for a little walk” JT said to John trying to get outside for some fresh air.

“Fine” John obviously would rather stay at home and argue with JT.

They walked out of the door to the dirt path of Goldenrod City. They looked up at the tall buildings just as they do every day. They loved to look at the yellow roofs and saw the biggest building in all of Johto, the Goldenrod Pokemart. The trees were swaying in the wind. With Orange, Red, and Gold leaves falling from the trees.

“Man, I sure do love fall” John said to JT with a smile on his face.

“Yea, me too” JT replied, they both were walking as if they were dazed from how wonderful fall is.

They walked to the second biggest building in Johto, the Radio Tower. The Radio Tower was huge, it was black and constructed of iron bars.

“Want to see if we can win the lottery?” JT said to John.

“ Man, I hope one of us can actually win this time” John said excited.

“Too bad the woman that does the lottery thing is like 100 years old” JT laughed.

“ Oh man, I know” John laughed right along with him.

JT and John walked into the Radio Tower still laughing. They walked around the counter to give their ID’s to the woman. After they got their Pokemon Trainer pamphlet. As they looked up they were expecting an old, frail woman, but that’s not what they saw. They saw a beautiful, young, woman. She had beautiful, straight, blonde hair. Great smile and a great body.

“Daaamn” JT said under his breath so that only John could hear.

John laughed and told the woman his ID number.

“Your ID number sir?” The woman said to JT.

“Oh, um, um, 3-4-59-8-6-7” JT stammered still pondering at this girls beauty.

“Oh sorry guys neither of your ID numbers match today” Said the woman frowning.

“Oh, That’s ok” JT said “But could I ask you a question” JT asked smiling.

John said “ Oh, no” and slapped his forehead.

“Ok” The woman the replied confused.

“Are your feet tired? Because you’ve been running through my mind all day long”

The woman laughed, and Dap dragged JT out of Radio Tower who was still staring at the woman.

“JT, are you crazy?” John asked while still laughing.

“No, why?” JT asked a little confused.

JT didn’t seem to understand that, that pick up line was extremely bad.

“Cause, that pick-up line never works” John replied not understanding why JT didn’t understand this. “Remember I taught it to you!”

“Note to self, never use one of John’s pick up lines again, because they don’t work for him so why would they work for me” JT said beginning to laugh.

John scowled then began to laugh as well. They walked all around the beautiful city and saw some police officers with blue uniforms and gold stars to show their authority. They were holding flashlights and a Pokeball. One of the Officers eyes came to JT.

“Freeze!” The Officer yelled.

“What? What did we do” JT said surprised.

JT walked right up to the officer and got in his face.

“If you touch me I will be forced to take u in for assaulting a police officer” The officer said.

“So if I just happened to just poke you, you would arrest me right?” JT said in a smart allecky way.

“Possibly” the Officer replied getting annoyed with this smart mouth teenager.

JT took his finger and poked the officer with just a finger. The officer responded by pushing JT to the ground. JT jumped up and proceeded to swing at the officer. He hit the Officer in the face twice. John pulled JT back and held him tight as the officer wiped the blood of his face.

“Ass****!!” JT yelled at the police officer. “John get your hands off me so I can beat the hell out of this guy!”

“No, JT!” John yelled. “I’m not letting you get into anymore trouble!”

“John!! This is not really a police officer!!” JT yelled.

John released his friend. John still a bit confused asked “What?”

“Look at his badge!!” JT yelled pointing at the officer who was smiling. “Now John, you know just as well as me that Goldenrod City Police Officers have Growlithes on their badges. Now look at that it’s blank”

“Wow, JT, your right” John said in disbelief.

“This is my old childhood rival, Aaron Coffey” JT said with an angry look on his face.

“Well, Well, looks as if you’ve brightened up in your life” Aaron said with his hand in his pocket.

“Yea you son of a *****” JT said looking as if he were about to kill Aaron.

“Oh so we’re going to get into name calling?” Aaron said as he reached into his pocket revealing a gun.

He pointed the gun at JT and fired JT had no time to move. The bullet hit JT in the chest and he fell backwards landing at John’s feet. Aaron pointed the gun at John but John had time to call out his Mr. Mime.

“Mr. Mime!!! Use Reflect!!” John yelled scared to death.

The bullet came and couldn’t get through the Reflect. Aaron had ran out of bullets and ran away John called 9-1-1 and got an ambulance to come.

The ambulance came and they put the unconscious JT on a stretcher. The woman had put a clear mask on his face to help him breathe. The Police had came and they were writing in their black notebook and interviewing John. The woman looked as if she was about to cry. JT opened his eyes for a second and took in one deep breath. Then it happened……….he had stopped breathing.

“John!!” The nurse yelled crying. “Run and get his mother”

John nodded and ran to JT’s house. The Police Officers were big and burly. They looked as if they too were about to cry. They took of their hats and put it across their chest while praying for the young man.

John arrived at JT’s house and yelled “ Oh my god, misses Atkins!! JT’s been shot!!”

“What? Calm down John” she said. “Take me to him”

“They’re putting him on the stretcher now” John said getting teary eyed.

“Let’s get in the car and go to the hospital,” She said trying to keep herself calm.

They went and got in the Purple Honda Accord. The car had gray seats and a CD player with one of JT’s CDs playing.

“JT always did hate this car because it was purple” Mrs. Atkins said trying to smile. “Now he may never see it again” She broke down and started to cry. “Who did this John? Who was it!?” She yelled at him bawling.

“JT said that the guys name was Aaron Coffey” John said.

Mrs. Atkins’ mouth dropped open. “Aaron Coffey? Are you sure John?” She asked not knowing what was going on.

“Yes, ma’am that’s exactly what JT said before he was shot” John said wondering what the big deal about Aaron Coffey was.
“I’ll tell you all about it when we get to the hospital” She said trying to get rid of tears in her eyes.

The rest of the car ride was silence………nothing but silence. As they pulled into the hospital, they saw a Nurse outside waiting. The Nurse looked exactly like the woman at the Radio Tower.

“How is he?” Mrs. Atkins asked the nurse very worried.

“Come with me” The nurse said.

We walked into the hospital and we heard a lot of people talking and voices over the intercom calling doctors to wherever they need to be. There was a woman behind the counter with Olive skin and Black hair, John and Mrs. Atkins went up and talked to her to find about JT.

“How’s my son!?” Mrs. Atkins yelled to the woman.

“I’m sorry, but he has stopped breathing and the doctors are trying to revive him right now” The nurse said with a saddened look on her face.

Mrs. Atkins slammed her fist on the counter and started to cry. John lead her over to the waiting room so that they could wait to find out about JT.

“I’m sure he’ll make it Mrs. Atkins” John said trying to help Mrs. Atkins through this. “JT’s a tough kid.”

“John, I know that” Mrs. Atkins said trying to get rid of her tears. “Now I will tell you why JT went after that guy, that guy, Aaron killed JT's father.” She said starting to cry again. “He mudered JT's father John, he killed him” She started crying really hard again. “He was trying to get back at JT for humiliating him in a game of basketball at the school yard”

“Oh, no wonder JT went after him” John said showing remorse for Mrs. Atkins. “Now I wish I wouldn’t have held him back, but I thought he was a police officer” John said starting to cry again.

“Mrs. Atkins” said the nurse at the counter. “We have news about your son”

John and Mrs. Atkins walked back to JT’s room. They could here “Beep,Beep,Beep” which means that he is still alive but is asleep. Mrs. Atkins walked over and kissed JT on the forehead. John looked around the room completely white with a T.V. he saw the button to make the bed move. Then he saw the IV which was stuck in his friend to keep him alive.

“Mom,” JT muttered
“Shh JT don’t talk” she told him putting her finger on his lips. “You, need to get your rest”

They walked out of his room, happy, knowing that JT is alive. John vowed that he would stay with his friend as long as he could until he got well again. John and Mrs. Atkins walked to the car and she took him home. Another silent car ride. When they reached John’s house John told his parents of the news and went to his room. That night he couldn’t sleep………

“What if I wouldn’t have held him back?” he thought to himself in his bed. “What if? What if? What if?”

John spent every day with JT. Watching sports. Talking about Pokemon. Talking about that day. Then every night he would start thinking about the what ifs again. Then one day while John and JT were talking it came up………

“That jerk really killed your father?” John said then turning away after he said it.

JT turned to John surprised “Who told you that!?” JT yelled at John with rages in his eyes.

John gulped, “Your mom.”

“I never wanted to think about that again!!” JT was yelling now so enraged over his fathers death.

“I’m sorry JT” John said.

JT sighed, “I’m sorry too John, I shouldn’t get mad at you for asking. You know why he is not in jail” JT asked.

“No,” John replied.

“Because he was 17 when he did it” JT started to break down and cry, “Not 18.”

John was puzzled. He turned the channel on the T.V. hoping that the subject would end.

“So he just got off on probation” JT said through the tears.

The nurse walked in and told John that visiting hours were over. JT and john said there goodbyes as John walked home. He stopped by the site where the fight had occurred and saw someone in shadows, then the person ran. John took off after him, running as hard as he could. He knew it was Aaron. He recognized the person’s build. Aaron had a huge head start John was running his hardest to get to him. They ran for about a hundred yards. Then he ran into a dead end near the Bike Shop. John pounced on him, he started punching him and pounding his head against the ground.

“You…….ass****………you shot my friend!!!” John yelled while still beating the hell out of Aaron.

John was taking care of JT’s Pokemon while JT was in the hospital. So he let out JT’s prize Pokemon who sat right on top of Aaron while John called the Police.

“Yes, Officer I have just caught the guy the shot Jason Thomas Atkins” John said trying to talk fast before JT’s Snorlax woke up.

John sat next to Snorlax and Aaron mocking Aaron the whole time. Snorlax kept rolling over causing Aaron more pain.

“How does 2 tons of Pokemon feel your jerk!?” John yelled at Aaron.

John started to hear sirens and he knew the police were hear.

“Yea, the police are hear you aren’t going to get off on probation this time you a** John said still mocking Aaron.

The police came over taking out their silver handcuffs while John recalled Snorlax. The police carried the bleeding criminal away and put him in the police car. John gave Aaron the finger one last time before he left.

“JT will be happy to hear about this” John said as he smiled.

John ran to the hospital as hard as he could. The nurse stopped him at the door.

“Sorry, visiting hours are over” The nurse said.

“I don’t care I got to see JT!” John said running through the halls to JT’s room. “JT!”

“JT!” John yelled as he got into the room panting.

“John what the hell are you doing” JT said surprised.

“JT I did it!! I did it!!” John yelled at JT shaking him.

“Man, what the hell did you do and remember I just had a bullet removed from my chest so quit shaking me, idiot” JT said laughing.

“Sorry, JT” John said. “I caught Aaron!” John yelled about to shake JT again, but thought better of it.

“You what!?” JT said sitting up but the going back down in pain.

“I caught him with the help of your Snorlax” John said smiling.
“Oh, Thank You, Thank You, Thank You” JT said.

A week went by and JT was finally out of the hospital. JT and John went for another walk this time to the Pokemart. The Pokemart was gigantic inside and out. The walls were covered with Pokemon merchandise, Super Potions, Pokeballs everything that a Pokemon trainer needs to become great.

“Hey, Harry” JT said to one of the many cashiers at the Pokemart. “I would like 5 Pokeballs and Super Potion please” JT said smiling.

“Here you go JT” Harry smiled. “I’m sure you’ll have an interesting time with them” Harry winked and gave JT the items.

JT and John walked out of the Pokemart. Carrying his bags of merchandise.

“Man he says interesting too much” JT said to John.

“Yea, interesting, interesting, interesting, INTERESTING!” John said laughing along with JT.

JT saw a wreath on the wall of the Pokemart and turned around, walking the other way.

“JT, what’s up with that?” John asked looking at JT who was staring at the ground.

“That’s where my father was mugged by Aaron and his gang idiots” JT said starting to cry.

“Oh, I’m sorry man let’s go up to Bill’s house” John said walking alongside JT destination, Bill’s House.

They walked on the golden road all the way Bills house it was a Small, rectangular house with a yellow roof and an orange door. They knocked on the door and Bill, wearing a T-Shirt with all the Eevee Evolutions on it. He ran his hand through his slick Red Hair.

“Hey JT” Bill said smiling.

“Hey Bill this is John, a good friend of mine” JT said as him and John walked into the small house that was pretty much just all brown. It was nicely kept because Bills mom was a neat freak.

“Hey” John said shyly, looking at the floor.

They walked into the house and Bill opened a trap door that takes you down to the basement. John’s eyes flew open in surprise. JT looked back at John and winked. They walked down the steps into Bill’s own little lounge. The place was filled with computers. JT and John saw six Pokeballs lying on the couch. Bill sat down on the computer and let his fingers flow on to the keys. An Umbreon popped up on the screen.

“This is my favorite Pokemon of all time” Bill said.

John smirked “That weakling?”

Bill stood up “That weakling has won me that all city finals three years in a row.”

“JT and I also weren’t in it now were we?” John said mocking Bill.

“Ok! That’s it!” Bill said pressing a button

The floor turned into a Pokemon stadium.

“John I challenge you to a battle!! One on One” Bill said picking up a Pokeball on the couch.

“Sure Bill……..You sound very excited to lose” John said pulling out a Pokeball. “Go Gardevoir!”

Gardevoir popped out of its Pokeball. It shook its making its green hair bounce. It looked just like a human woman.

Bill laughed hysterically, “Don’t you know anything about type advantages?” Bill laughed and threw out his Pokeball “Go Umbreon!!” Bill yelled as something that looks just like a black cat with yellow stripes.

“Yes, I do” John said. “Gardevoir, Imprison!” John yelled.

A little box dropped over Umbreon preventing it from using any moves that Gardevoir knows.

“Yea, eat it” John said laughing.

Umbreon disappeared and landed right in front of Gardevoir, Gardevoir looked as if it didn’t feel anything.

“Heh, what a puny attack” John said laughing at Bills bad attempt to kill Gardevoir. “Gardevoir! Use Thunderbolt!!” John yelled.

Umbreon felt the shock…..it was paralyzed. Bill was shocked at the power of Gardevoir. All of the sudden a huge crash was heard upstairs. JT, John, and Bill ran up stairs, to find the house a mess and two people running out of the door.

“Man, how many chases do I have to go on” John said as he took off running out the door.

JT and Bill followed him all the way. Then JT though of sumthing.

“You know John there is an easy way to do this” JT said as he threw a Pokeball on to the ground.

A Dodrio popped out. An Odd bird with three heads that can run faster then it can fly. JT hopped on the Dodrio and they were off. JT soon passed John, John threw his own Pokeball onto the ground. It was a Charizard. Charizard shot flames out of its mouth.

“Ok, Charizard let’s GO!” John said as he go on top of Charizard.

Charizard flew to the sky with John on his back. JT was wondering why John used Charizard just to catch a few idiots like 100 feet away. Dodrio caught up to the crooks, JT saw they were wearing masks and all black.

“Good thing it’s not time, we’d never see these idiots” JT said to himself.

JT knew it was time. He jumped off of Dodrio onto one of the crooks. The other one just kept running.

“Dodrio!” JT shouted as he held one of the burglars down. “Go get the other one!”

Dodrio squawked and nodded its heads in understanding. It took off running bobbing its three heads trying to catch the robbers. Dodrio got to him…….he pecked him three times and he was down.

“John, bring Charizard down and land on him!” JT yelled to John who was still high in the sky on Charizard.

John agreed. Charizard swooped down and landed on right on the downed man. Charizard was too nice and sat down as easily as possible. The man screamed extremely loud.

“Good job Charizard and Dodrio!” JT and John screamed together.

Five minutes later Bill walked up with a Policemen.

“Bill, finally, it took you long enough” JT said, laughing.

Bill laughed and said, “Well I wasn’t riding on a Pokemon now was I?”

JT laughed. The officer arrested both men. Charizard wasn’t very happy about getting up so John had to recall him before he burnt all of Goldenrod down. The officer handed Bill a Pokeball.

“This is apparently what they stole” The officer said shrugging his shoulders.

Bill looked at it in shock and said, “My…My…My…Porygon!”

JT’s eyes got big, “You have a Porygon!?

“Yea” Bill said like it was obvious. “I’ll show you where I caught it too.”

“Really?” JT said anxiously.

“Yea, come with me.”

JT, Bill, and John walked back past Bills house into a small patch of woods.

“How did they get back here?” JT asked.

“Well, they were loaded into the Goldenrod Game Corner and they just escaped” Bill replied walking slowly through the woods. “They’ve been looking for them but cant find them, and we’re the only ones that know about them.”

JT looked up through the beautiful woods and thought about his father. His father used to take him back here as a child to camp and go hunting. He loved how the trees looked as if they were dancing. The leaves were falling off but there were still some leaves left to make it beautiful.

Bill pulled out a whistle that made this huge annoying sound. IT was so loud it could shatter glass in Blackthorn City.

“Aw, dude why’d you do that?” JT asked Bill covering his ears.

“It’s a whistle that brings all Robot type thingies to you.”

John looked at Bill like he was crazy and said, “It better work”

“John, trust me, it will work.”

John snorted and rolled his eyes. Bill continued to blow that blasted whistle. Bills face was starting to turn red because he had been blowing so long.

“Yea, it really works” John said as bent down to pick a stick up off of the ground.

Bill was starting to get discouraged, he threw the whistle down in disgust.

“OLLI, OLLI, OLLI, OLLI!” Bill yelled.

“What is that retard talk?”

“It’s a Porygon call”

“Just as stupid as that stupid whistle”

“John and Bill would you two idiots quit arguing” JT said stepping in before it turned into an all out fistfight.

“No JT, this idiot obviously doesn’t know what he’s talking about” John said moving closer to Bill.

“Stupid!? I created the Pokemon Storage Box!” Bill yelled at John.

“Yea which Lannette improved greatly” John said knowing he was annoying the hell out of Bill.

“Hey, shut up,” JT said looking at a bush.

“What is it JT?” John asked getting next to JT.

Then something was rolling out of the bush. It looked like it had 150 sides. It was mechanical. A Pokemon created by man to be a genius.

“It’s a Porygon!!” Bill yelled.

“This is mine!” JT yelled reaching down to his Pokeball Belt.

JT threw a Pokeball to the ground and yelled, “Go Gengar!”

Gengar popped out of its Pokeball, then it disappeared. Then it reappeared and it got its game face on ready to battle.

“Ok, Gengar use your almighty Shadow Ball attack”

Gengar started to focus; it put one hand just above the other, smiling. A black ball formed into his hands. He reared back, then he threw the Ghostly ball at Porygon.

“JT!” John yelled.

The ball went right through the Porygon not effecting it at all.

”You know that Ghost attacks don’t effect Normal types.” John said in disgust.

“Oh yeah, I was thinking Porygon was a Steel Type” JT muttered slapping his forehead.

Gengar looked at JT confused “Geeeeeeeengar?”

“I’m sorry Gengar, I messed up”

Then Porygon started to change. It was changing color, and JT couldn’t figure out was happening.

“Hmm, I think its using Conversion2” Bill said stroking his chin. “That means you can…….”

“Bill I don’t want to here it” JT said focusing on his battle.

“But……”

“Gengar use Psychic!” JT yelled upset about his last mistake.

Gengar started to shine; it grew bigger and pushed out a huge purple beam. It hit Porygon right on the head as it attempted to dodge.

“Good job Gengar”

“Gaaaaaaaaaaangaaaaaaaar” Gengar replied happy with itself.

“Gengar pay attention!” JT yelled as he watched Porygon let out a purple blast at Gengar.

The blast hit Gengar right in the midsection, Gengar bent over holding its stomach. Porygon had unleashed a PsyBeam it also had enough time to max out the power of it.

“Gengar are you ok!?” JT shouted worried about his Pokemon.

“Gaaaaaaayngar”

“JT, you have to listen to me!” Bill shouted to JT. “When Porygon used Conversion2 it turned itself into a Ghost Type, which makes Ghost attacks super effective to it!”

“Hmm, thanks Bill, I should’ve listened to you sooner” JT said angered with his mistakes in this battle.

While JT and Bill were talking Gengar was trying to dodge Porygon’s many PsyBeam attacks.

JT turned back to the battle and yelled “Ok Gengar use your Shadow Ball attack!”

Gengar’s eyes grew large, he had a violent look on his face. He started to focus on his hands, he was shaking violently, trying to get as much power on this Shadow Ball as possible. Porygon was also charging up a big PsyBeam attack. Gengar released Shadow Ball a bit sooner then Porygon released PsyBeam, the attacks collided a lot closer to Porygon, but it still fainted Gengar because of the earlier PsyBeam. Porygon fell over and landed on its back.

“Crap, I’m sorry Gengar, return” JT said as he returned Gengar and threw another Pokeball, “Go Venasaur!”

Venasaur yawned because of it’s lack of battles lately, “Veeeeeeena”

“Venasaur! Use Vine Whip!”

Venasaur looked back at JT, “Vena?”

Venasaur was disobeying JT, it didn’t trust JT any more because it had not battled in forever.

“Venasaur, Vine Whip!!!!!”

Venasaur finally obeyed and sent out Vines that wrapped around Porygon’s neck. Venasaur started to slam Porygon on the ground then bringing it back and slamming it harder. Porygon then let off a Zap Cannon that cut the Vine’s in half.
As Venasaur brought back its Vines, Porygon let out a PsyBeam, this one not as powerful as others still was super effective on the part Poison type Venasaur. Venasaur shook its head anad let off a Poison Powder attack that JT did not order.

“Venasaur remember I am the trainer not you.”

The Porygon was now paralyzed it was trying to shake off paralysis, JT was kind of happy that Venasaur used Stun Spore even if he didn’t order it.

“Beep, Beep, Beep” Porygon said as it was fully paralyzed.

Venasaur just take this one by yourself I know the your not going to listen to me anyway.

“Vena, Vena” Venasaur said happily.

It charged at Porygon it leaped into the air using a Razor Leaf which crisscrossed in mid-air striking Porygon on both sides of its face. Porygon focused it’s eyes, its eyes became crosshairs, it was using Lock On. Venasaur was trying to get out of its view but Porygon just kept Lockin-On.

“JT, you’ve got to tell Venasaur to attack it,” Bill said concerned about Venasaur.

“No, Venasaur needs to fight this one alone, it wants to gain its pride back.”

Venasaur used a Vine-Whip, but it didn’t make it their before a Zap-Cannon got to Venasaur and paralyzed it.

JT cursed under his breath but knew he had to let Venasaur fight this on his own. Porygon and Venasaur both shook and fell over they were both fully paralyzed. Venasaur rolled over and shot vines out at Porygon. It took it by the backside and slung it up against a tree. Porygon was out for a little bit then Venasaur used Razor Leaf it hit Porygon, Porygon was taking a huge beating. Porygon used Recover, it started to turn gold and it regained health. It then fired a PsyBeam attack that left Venasaur hanging by a thread.

“Come on Venasaur, come on” JT said quietly.

Venasaur stood up and looked over at JT, he charged at Porygon and slammed into it with a Body Slam attack. JT pumped his fist, he was so proud of Venasaur for fighting this hard.

Porygon couldn’t move. It was shaking and fighting the paralysis. Purple stuff started to ooze out of the top of Venasaur. It closed its eyes and shot it out and it landed on Porygon. It made Porygon stick to the ground not being able to move. It used Conversion2 again, changing itself to a Poison Type so it could get itself out of the ooze.

“Go Swampert!”

JT had thrown another Pokeball out onto the field.

“Ok, Swampert one move and you can come back!” JT yelled at the swamp Pokemon. “Use your Earthquake!”

Swampert flew into the air and landed on the ground hard. It shook the whole place even knocking down JT and his friends. It gave a big blow to Venasaur but did a lot more to Porygon due to the effect that it was super effective. JT returned Swampert and nodded to Venasaur. Venasaur nodded back so it’s pride must not have been hurt like JT had feared.

Venasaur used Sunny Day, it made the clouds part so that the sun could be seen a lot clearer. It got right in the sun and began to gain health by using Synthesis. The weak Porygon fired a Zap Cannon at Venasaur but Porygon was so weak it didn’t even have the strength to make it to the Venasaur. Venasaur charged up Solar Rays. It only took a few seconds because of Sunny Day. It fired and hit Porygon right on the nose.

“Yea way to go Venasaur!” John and Bill yelled.

John and Bill looked at each other shocked that they could be agreeing with one another.

Venasaur sent its Vines out and grabbed Porygon around the neck, it then started to drain its energy using Mega Drain. Everybody could tell that Porygon was getting violently weak. Venasaur started slamming it against the ground and using Mega Drain at the same time, taking tons of power away from the dieing Porygon.

“Venasaur is a genius!!” JT yelled, like a proud parent watching their child walking for the first time.

“JT you better recall that Venasaur before it kills the poor Porygon” John warned.

“Yea, your right” JT said recalling Venasaur. “Great Job buddy” JT said to the Pokeball containing Venasaur.

“Go Snorlax!” JT yelled.

Porygon recovered but it was still below half its normal health.

“Snorlax use Body Slam!” JT yelled.

“Snoooooor, laaaaaaaaaax” Snorlax said unhappy about having to wake up.

Snorlax dove into the air and belly flopped right onto Porygon. Porygon was completely in gulfed in Snorlax’s fat. Snorlax decided to take a little nap on top of Porygon. After being asleep for about 1 or 2 Porygon fired a Zap Cannon, which hit Snorlax right in the stomach at, point blank range, which caused a critical, hit. Snorlax was stumbling around fully awake now.

“Snorlax! Rollout!”

Snorlax curled up into a little ball and rolled over Porygon, Then backing up and rolling over it again. It did this five more times. Porygon powered up every time Snorlax rolled by. It hit Snorlax with a Zap-Cannon when Snorlax got too close this time. This enraged Snorlax, causing it to go on a rampage.

“Snorlax now, we don’t want to kill it!” JT yelled trying to prevent Snorlax from hurting it too bad.

It was too late. Snorlax opened its mouth and fired a Hyper-Beam right at Porygon it hit it dead on Porygon had no chance of fighting back after this.

“JT hurry up and catch it before it dies!” Bill yelled to JT.

JT fumbled with his Pokeballs, but finally got one off. He threw it at the Porygon the red beam took the Porygon in and it shook, and shook, and shook.

For a beginner, the story was very good. Make sure to bring out your descriptions more and make sure to add more to battles every time you make a new story. Other than that, good job!

Spelling/Grammar: 5/10
Meh...found grammar mistakes. "Here = Hear" or "Hear = Here". It really confused me. Also, when a person is speaking, make sure to do this "Aleykale wants to catch this Porygon," John stated. Always place a comma after the person speaks, end the quotation marked and type the person's name, how they said it, and end it with a period.

Battle: 6/10
Porygon is something hard, hard to catch and you barely passed this part. Porygon got in a few attacks, though your Pokemon got in more. Make sure to make the battle LONG for this pokemon, along with more attack and details.
