You can now cast your vote in the Nintendo Power Awards 2006. Pokemon Mystery Dungeon is nominated in four categories:

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon (DS/GBA) - Nintendo Power Awards Nominations
- Game of the Year (GBA)
- Best RPG/Strategy (all systems)
- Best Story/Writing (all systems)
- Game of the Year (all systems)

personally, i dont think PMD deserves any of these awards. i got my nintendo power and couldnt even believe it got nominated. ill post my personal votes later.

Game of the Year (Wii) Twilight Princess (duh)
Game of the Year (GCN) Twilight Princess (duh again)
Game o' da year (DS) Not sure, ill say New Mario Bros.
GotY (GBA) Final Fantasy 5 Advanced
Best Graphics (Console) Twilight Princess
Best Graphics (Handheld) Metroid Prime Hunters
Best Music: Anyone who doesnt say Twilight Princess is mentally insane
Best Sound/Voice Acting: Dunno, i'll just say CoD 3
Best RPG/Strategy: Final Fantasy 3
Best Adventure: Once again, Twilight Princess takes the cake
Best Platformer: *New* Mario Bros.
Best Shooter/Action: Red Steel
Best Sports/Racing Game: Wii Sports :)
Best Alternative Game: Trauma Center: Second Opinion (WooT!)
Best multiplayer: I'll say Wii Sports
Best New Character: I wonder... MIDNA!!!!!
Best Story/Writing: Twilight Princess
Best Wi-Fi Features (DS) Metroid Prime: Hunters
Best Wii Control: Trauma Center: Second Opinion
Best DS Functionality: Brain Age


Game of the Year: *drumroll* Twilight Princess by far!

I disagree with you, Charbok. PMD is better then most platform/rpg games >_>

Unless you are a pokemon fan PMD really isnt fun at all. However, I'm a pokemon fan, and i dont really like it. In Game informer, it was voted 4th worst game ever.

Well, I'm from New Zealand, and we don't have that magazine here. Though... I do have a Nintendo Power from R/B/Y days... they are OLD!

PMD sucks. I knew that. I don't like it but I can see why many people do. Including my best friend.

That basically means that Game Informer is completely biased if it's from any time period. I can think of four worse games:

E.T.
Superman 64
That Aquaman game.
Big Rigs: something something.

Even if it was only from this year, PMD does not deserve to be anywhere near the bottom of the list. They just hate Pokemon. ;/

Best Music-Twilight Princess

Best Sound/Voice Acting-N/A

Best RPG/Strategy-PMD

Best Adventure- Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime

Best Platformer-Kirby: Squeak Squad

Best Shooter/Action-Star Fox Command

Best Sports/Racing-Wii Sports

Best Alternative Game-Elebits

Best Multiplayer-Wii Sports

Best New Character-Minda

Best Story/Writing-PMD, of course.

Best Wi-Fi Feature-Tetris DS

Best Wii Control-Wii Sports
Though I love Elebits, it-like all the other nominees-used the Wii remote in some rather absurd ways. Only Wii Sports pulled through.

Best DS Functionality (DS)
I've never played any of the nominees.
