It´s not a random way. It´s similar to a bug: The programmers didn´t want to make it, it happened accidentaly. Still, it works for getting Mew without going to a Nintendo event

Talking Re: Gold/Silver/Crystal Game Discussion

yeh they were easy just carry around an extremely quick golbat/crobat that knows mean look. then keep on using i think its false swipe that will take them down to 1 hp as the move doesn't allow you to make the pokemon faint (you'll have to double check on the name of the move), then make sure you have a pokemon that knows the move hypnosis to put it to sleep then just keep throwing ultraballs or whatever balls you have except masterballs. i dunno if this is actually a known fact but when i throw the balls i just keep tapping A as quick as possible i think that does actually increase the chance of capturing the pokemon, it works for me and you might as well try it. any way in all by using that stratergy i caught all 3 of them in just 5 ultraballs.

hope i helped in what ever way possible,

yours sincerely,

POKEBALL

Yea, I've actually heard of something like that, but a little different. You hold down the controller button thingy (what you use to look, move up and down your menu, etc.) and hold A and/or B. I've heard it you can also hold down A and/or B when a pokémon hits you to decrease the HP damage you receive. I did it for years but I've stopped doing it because now it just doesn't seem to make any difference to me.

(on topic)
Thanks a lot for the quick guide I've never gotten up to the Legendary Dogs so I think I'm gonna need all the help I can find for when that time comes

Exclamation Re: Gold/Silver/Crystal Game Discussion

I just LOVE Silver!!! I think the story-line is much better here, then in Ruby, Sapphire, Red, Blue, Yellow, Firered, and Leafgreen. The only problem is that sometimes it is hard to do stuff, like waking up the Snorlax blocking Digglet Cave.

P.S, Setting Sun24, how did you get Mewtwo and Celebi? PM me to tell me.

Well if you hate them you could try HootHoot, as long as it knows a flying move you should be OK. Admittedly its not as good as a Pidgey or a Spearow but HootHoot can learn some useful moves such as hypnosis. When I start G/S/C I always try to get a HootHoot on my team, even if its only at the start.
