"Pokemon: Diamond and Pearl" TV Series: Episode Titles and Character Names!

Cartoon Network has revealed the episode titles for the first five episodes of the Pokemon: Diamond/Pearl TV series (the 10th Pokemon season). The episode descriptions also confirm the official English names for some of the new characters, including Dawn (Japanese name: Hikari), Paul (Japanese name: Shinji), and Nando (Japanese name: Naoshi).

The Cartoon Network website did not say when the Pokemon: Diamond and Pearl series will begin.

Episode 1 (Season 10) - Following A Maiden's Voyage!
As Ash, Pikachu and Aipom head toward new adventures in the Sinnoh region, a young trainer named Dawn is just beginning her own Pokemon journey.

Episode 2 (Season 10) - Two Degrees of Separation!
As Dawn begins her quest to find an injured Pikachu's trainer. Ash sets out to find Dawn, and reunites with Brock in the process

Episode 3 (Season 10) - When Pokemon Worlds Collide!
Soon after Ash and Brock are reunited with Pikachu, Ash is challenged to a battle by a trainer named Paul.

Episode 4 (Season 10) - Dawn Of A New Era!
When our heroes come across a Pokemon bard named Nando, Dawn has her very first battle. Meanwhile, Nando tries to decide whether to pursue Gym battles or Contests.

Episode 5 (Season 10) - Gettin' Twiggy With It!
When Team Rocket makes off with Ash's Pikachu, a feisty Turtwig appears on the scene to rescue and take care of Pikachu. Unfortunately, the Turtwig mistakes our heroes for bad guys.

What the hell, lol? Hikari's name is Dawn. What a let down. That's my aunty's name.. ;P

I prefer Hikari way more.

The episodes they posted titles for are Season 9 episodes. CN hasn't even announced a Season 10 yet.

Hikari >> Dawn, but what do I care, I don't watch the anime anyways.

Maybe I'll have a "Dawn" rival in D/P if you can't name her like in RBY.

I will name her Hikari. It sounds a load better.

I think something more trendier than Dawn would suit her character better.

"Dawn" is fine. Just think what they could've come up with -- thinking of "MUNCHLAX".

the name "dawn" almost sounds like something that came out of final fantasy, oh well i prefer hikari better. the name just doesn't seem to make sense.

What the, Dawn? I like Paul, but I like Hikari way more than...Dawn...

Dawn.... Well it might not be as good as Hikari but at least they didn't put an extremely common name like Mary or Anna instead

Yes i agree, Dawn is fine and yes Hikari is better, But yeah at least it isn't something to obvious, And Dawn is much better then my idea of Kiki or Mimi, And i think "Dawn" kinda suits her, But thats just my opinion, As for Paul, It's fine, It's pretty common like Gary,

Yes, my friend spread the word. They may be Diamond and Pearl episodes but they are part of season 9.

Well, guess my name Hikari contest just ended.

I am greatly disappointed. Poor Dawn, what a way to debut.
And what a lame name I'm going to have to have for a middle name when Hikari releases her American name....Dawn.
