Default Japanese Magazine News: Pokemon Mystery Dungeon 2!

Japanese Magazine News: Pokemon Mystery Dungeon 2!
-03/20/07-

A poster on the NeoGAF forum listed some of the major Japanese magazine news. Among the news was a sequel to Pokemon Mystery Dungeon.

Quote:
New Pokemon Mysterious Dungeon
- Second Chunsoft x Pokemon project
- Slightly different format
- There's probably be 2 versions
- Story will be enhanced
- Will support Wifi
You can read the post here: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=147175

The obvious speculation is that the game might feature all 493 Pokemon from Diamond and Pearl (since the first Pokemon Mystery Dungeon had all 386 Pokemon available), but of course, that's just speculation at this point since the available information from the original poster mentioned nothing to that effect. Though it is a good guess, one that will likely be true.

As many of you may recall, CoroCoro (a Japanese gaming magazine) announced that they will reveal a new Pokemon game in their May issue (due out on April 15, 2007). It's unknown if the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon sequel is the one they're talking about. It might be the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon sequel, or it might be another Pokemon game that will be featured in the May issue. We'll just have wait and see.

YES!

I loved the original a LOT, and I'm really glad to see a sequel is coming out of it. It was fun, original, and very innovative.

Plus actually being a Pikachu in the game, oh come on, NOTHING beats that.

The fact that you can be ANY Pokemon is big plus from me. Actually being a Psyduck, now that's priceless, lol.

I really like MD, and everybody in my family played it. It actually got some people interested in pokemon who could care less before, but to be good at it they actually had to explore moves and evolution, etc.

What could be better than NetHack with pokemon anyway?!?

I'm really glad there will be a sequel, and so will lots of other people!

I am still trying on different pokemon

I can't wait. I sure hope the sequel features all 493 Pokemon. That way I can make a 3-mon dream team!(Spiritomb, Enpeluoto or whatever, and NINJASK!)

NO!

Alright, the game's concept was good. Being the Pokemon, yeah, cool. But, dude... THE GAME GOT BORING WAY TOO QUICKLY. I played it for a week, for about two hours a day when I got home from school. Guess what. Got boring. This had to be the quickest game to get bored of in the history of video games. You know what else pisses me off? It's not the GSC remake.

Pokemon, Nintendo, Game Freak. You suck.

Now the game won't get boring anymore! We can use...

Wi-Fi!!!!!!!!!!11!1!!!1

And I can finally show off me defeating everybody as a cute, cuddly Pikachu, on...

(Yes, I HAVE been watching the HeadOn-like commercials today.)

Or maybe, with high hopes, it'll be the GSC remake... on...

But it was nice for a change...

The sequel may be even better. You never know.
