A little help
Sorry if this is not in the right place, i just signed up today. I havent been in the pokemon scene for about 6 years. The last set that came out was the fossil set is when i "quit". I need a hobby and thought about getting back into pokemon. I need to now, what are the sets that will reap the prized cards. Im not much into the trading aspect, just collecting the good stuff. If anyone could tell me where to start it would be much appreciated.

Re: A little help
Why not start with one of the games?
If you know what you're collecting, you'll appreciate it much more. And you'll learn more about the new Pokemon by playing the game.
Emerald is a good start, as is FireRed/LeafGreen with their help feature.

Re: A little help
FR/LG would be a better start because of the Help System. It helps you to get settled into the new system of Pokemon.

Well, i recently bought sapphire and love it. But with so many new sets out, im kinda in over my head. Are all the sets still being sold, or are they traded out when a new set is released.
EDIT: I think dragon frontiers looks pretty good, as well as fire red/leaf green.

Re: A little help
I'd get FR/LG because it's easier to adapt to than R/S/E.

Re: A little help
FR/ LG as in the start you get a section of help with the controls, and how to battle and after you get a portable TV which gives advice

Yeah FR/LG is the best option if you want to get back in tune.
