Edit: If you mean like how they actually appear, you use a host {I use angelfire.com and graffitti.net for backup} to upload the pic to. you'll need to sign up n' stuff.

I think he means go to "quick links," then select "edit avatar."

Depending on if the pic you want is on the net or saved onto your computer, you will have to enter the URL/location onto the right text bar. Then just simply click "save changes" =)

Basically, go to user CP at the top of the page and chose EDIT AVATAR Then you can either type in the address of a picture on the internet or choose to load them from your PC. O.K.?

Those images next to our names are called "Avatars". In order to edit / get one, go to "User CP" and then to "Edit Avatar". There, you can either:

- Upload one from your PC
- Type the link of the image you want

Ta-DA! There you have your avatar. Hope this information makes it more clear for you to understand

All you have to do is go to User CP, then go to edit Avatar and tipe in the URL of the image where it says enter Avatar URL.Then you will have your avatar.

Or you could always upload one from your Computer. Doesn't really matter. But remember it can only be 100x100 and a certain file size.

It looks to me as if you need a basic lession on how to use urls and post images . Don't worry, take it one slow...

On the top of the forums there is a bar. At the far left on the bar there should be a text link that says "User CP". Click on it. A menu to the left should appear. The 5th text link from the top should say "Edit Avatar". Click on it. Now you have two ways you can get a picture for this "Enter Avatar URL:" Or "Upload an Avatar From Your Computer:" If you have questions about what a URL is I am sure anyone here can tell you

But, you can only upload an AVATAR from yer computer. If you want a signature pic (like mine with mew and Zero), you will need to upload it into a special site, which will give you a URL which you can use to get your signature pic into a signature. I took it a little fast, so PM someone more experienced than me if you want teh basics.

Avatars are easy to make. Just go to User Control Panel (on this site) and hit Edit Avatar. (I made a link for you). Choose Custom Avatar. if you want it from another site, right-click, and save to file. then upload it to the computer (you may have to edit it to 100x100 dots (aka pixles).
