NB tournament(is anyone interested?)

yeah NB is getting pretty lame IMHO, but that might just be because I haven't been in a lot of tournies lately. Ive run a few in the past with varying successand Ive helped to run several others. that basically entailed me with the responsibility of rules, pairings etc. so I kind of know what Im doing. anyhow this will most likely be rs, uber ban/legend ban or clause whatever the majority imparts on me. I'll also clause some of those fugly ou.

Im gonna need about 6 people at least maybe more, depending on the interest. so yeah if you want me to get started on this let me know

And we could possible have two teams of Six and have endurance, lose three rounds and your out, the final two have a match to see the winner...I was hoping maybe have four on each team, the last two from each team battle in a tournament of four, then they decide who is the best person overall, but then we'd need 8 people so....

okay glad to see we have some interest. Alex the rules you proposed seem fine although houndoom and alakazam arent going to be restricted. For right now Im thinking of limiting these to one per team:

all legends(dogs, birds, celebi, regis) Blissey, curselax, marowak w/ TC, perish trappers, slaking....

the following are banned: bliss-skarm combo, ubers(mew2, mew, ho-oh, lugia, Rayquaza, kyogre, groudon, and jirachi)...

the following must be in effect:
sleep clause
freeze clause
battle timeout
and ohko must be limited to one use per team not including ones obtained via metronome.
spectators must be allowed

if anybody has anything they would like to add or something they want to be added let me know either by posting here or by pming me. because I don't know rs tournament rules that well and yeah

Alakazam, with 339 speed, is IMHO more devastating than Marowak, which has no speed...

Also, perish trappers have no defense in RS, cept minus the Umbreon - Celebi trap, but Celebi is like restricted, and 2 pokemon pulling off a P-trap isn't really P-trapping

Slaking's Truant makes it pretty useless also, seeing as most pokemon teams have 1 protect, or 1 defense against hyper beam/quake.

Also if we're going by OU, we'd have to limit a lot more OU'd mons. otherwise uh...

hey Im going off my knowledge of gsc cause yeah rs isn't my specialty so kazam can be restricted if you want. I talked to some other dooders I know and they reccomended I restrict metagross/ttar your thoughts?

Well, in a standards, only uber ban tourney, They prolly wouldn't be restricted, but if you're going for anti-OUs, then they should be, as well as if you were going for anti-superstrength type things.
