EXP. share question

I know if I have a pokemon in a battle, and another one not in batle, (with exp share) it will recieve half of the exp, and if the exp share one IS in battle as well as the one not in battle, it will receive 3/4 of the exp, but what if I just have one pokemon in battle, holding the exp share? I heard that it got double the exp, but I'm not sure if this is true or not.

False. It gives the normal amount of EXP to the Pokémon.

^What do u mean? they both get half?

For me, i think the pokemon which is in battle + exp. share gets 3/4 EXP. points and the rest of the pokemon divide the 1/4 EXP.pts.

Yes totally false. You get the normal amount of EXP even if you have the EXP Share when the pokemon holding it is battling by itself.

In GSC i'm certain that the pokemon that battles + EXP share gets more points than the other pokemon in battle, does that mean they change it again in RS??
