I know, rain dance is weird. There is also Hidden power, but that's random. You could try toxic, but I doubt that you would.

Grass Knot kills Swampert as well. It also hits Rhyperior quite hard. It is still a viable move. For Empoleon, I'd go with one of these movesets:

- Surf
- Ice Beam
- Flash Cannon
- Agility

- Surf
- Ice Beam
- Grass Knot
- Flash Cannon

I like the first one if you don't want Grass Knot. Layout the EVs, so it'll take a hit, and make sure it has Leftovers incase you switch into something. Flash Cannon gets STAB and kills Rock and Ice. Of course, Surf already takes care of Rock, and Ice isn't much of a worry to a Water/Steel type.

And I saw earlier a request for a Lucario set including Flash Cannon. Nope, sorry. Aura Sphere covers everything Flash Cannon does plus Normal and Dark and never misses. Just because it's flashy and gets STAB doesn't mean it's staple. The set Aura Sphere, Dragon Pulse, Dark Pulse, and Psychic works great. If you want to put in Calm Mind, drop Dragon Pulse, as it's super effective against the least number of types.

I like Hidden Power Electric over Flash Cannon, for the second set, to cover Gyarados. However, if no Hidden Power is a condition then all right. However, for the first set, Grass Knot is necessary over Flash Cannon, for more coverage.

I totally agree, Grass Knot is better, but Hyper Blaze doesn't seem to like it, thus my choices for the first set.

whew...okay, im new at this kinda, lately ive been posting a lot about certain pokes in some threads here in the strategy section, but i thought i might as well post my whole team here and get some advice so it will save some time and not to mention space on the boards. okay...

Battles: 1 on 1, mostly.

Team: I don't know too much about the team names thing, but i'm going for a team that attack hard and attack often, and sometimes just kill the opponent's pokemon even if it means taking drastic measures. i'm thinking about starting battles out with my Glalie. I'm also still training my team's levels, i want them at like at least 80 and stuff, so yeah, if your wondering, that's why their movesets seem kinda weak.

Pokemon 1: Glalie lvl 45
Name: Clown
Nature: Adamant
Explosion
Avalanche <<< Should i replace with Icebeam?
Crunch
Earthquake

Pokemon 2: Empoleon lvl 83
Name: Blind
Nature: Timid
Surf
Ice Beam
Grass Knot
Flash Cannon

Pokemon 3: Gabite lvl 34 (Still training him, hes gonna be a Garchomp though, dont know what to give him for attacks)
Name: Wicked
Nature: Modest
Slash
Dragon Rage
Dragon Claw
Take Down

Pokemon 4: Gallade lvl 45
Name: Shoots
Nature: Docile
Slash
Leaf Blade
Double Team
Psycho Cut

Pokemon 5: Salamence lvl 55
Name: Twist
Nature: Jolly
Zen Headbutt
Headbutt
Fly
Crunch

Pokemon 6: Crawdaunt lvl 41/ Lucario lvl 29 (im tryin out Crawdaunt right now)
Name: Fake / Lost (< Lucario)
Nature: Hardy / ???
Knock Off
Waterfall
Night Slash
Crabhammer

and i already have an idea as to what do for Lucario. i read above the page, heh.
they all have items on them, but they dont really matter. what do you guys think i should give them for items? thank you for your help.

I don't know what team you want. A Uber team? Ou? NU? UU? More specific.
