There are two types of battles, Star Battles and Regular Battles. Star Battles are explained in the League Section.
If you want to battle with someone, you will have to challenge him by sending him/her a PM to either a Star Battle or Regular Battle. It doesn't matter what level each Pokémon is, each Pokémon will battle with its current stats.
You and your opponent must agree to battle with the same number of Pokémon.
To start the battle, one must know its Speed stats. Whichever Pokémon has the highest Speed will attack first.
A Pokémon will attack with its Attack points. The attack Points would be subtracted from the opponent’s Pokémon HP. The opponent would do the same to you when it is his or her turn.
The Pokémon who manages to lower its opponent’s HP to 0 is the winner.
Super Effective attacks do half more to the opposing Pokémon.
Example: If your Pokémon's current Attack points are 20, then your Pokémon's Super Effective attack will do 30 points in damage.
Not Very Effective attacks will do half of your Pokémon's attack points.
Example: If your Pokémon's current Attack points are 20, then your Pokémon's Not Very Effective attack will do 10 points in damage.
All others would do its regular Attack points.
‘No Effect’ attacks will do 0 damage.
Example: Psychic will do 0 damage to Dark-type Pokémon.
