Breeding Metagross
Okay, I thought I read that you can't breed Metagross in the above READ FIRST thread. But wait, isn't that wrong? I thought if you bred two pokemon that were genderless you'd get a baby, right? So if I bred two Metagross' then I should get a beldum. I can recall breeding two magnemite and getting another magnemite egg.
Even if I am wrong, that's still kind of sad that they can't have babies... that's just weird...

Re: Breeding Metagross
Err... u ar very wrong.
Breeding genderless with genderless won't get u a pokemon egg. Same with male/male, female/female. u won't expect them to produce eggs do u?
The solution is trade a Ditto from FL to breed with the genderless pokemon (or simply use a gameshark )

Even if you use Ditto, genderless can't produce eggs.

Re: Breeding Metagross
I've bred several magnemite, even in ruby/saphire, I catch two, put them both in day care, come back later, and I got an egg that gets magnemite, no gameshark.

Re: Breeding Metagross
Breed a Ditto and your Metagross.
You should get a Beldum.

Re: Breeding Metagross
No gender = No breeding.
Sharking is a different story.

Re: Breeding Metagross
There's a difference between Genderless and Legendary pokemon.
Legends (One of a kind pokemon) can NEVER breed. Eg: Raikou, Lugia.
Genderless may breed, but only in their species or with Ditto (Eg: Magnemite, Staryu)

Re: Breeding Metagross
Oh, so genderless is an egg group? I thought it meant it couldn't breed. Nevermind then. forget my last post.
