You have to be a member. Sign up, look for the trial.

Don't feel bad DP, I'm too cheap to pay for it too...

Thanks.

Eh...whenever I go there, I get a page can not be displayed. O_o

Oh well, I'll just have to stop being so tight fisted with my cash and go buy it I guess.

Why am I always the last one to see these kinds of threads.

Anyway I usually visit goodtutorials.com but another great site would have to be:

Solid Snake Designs

It is a forum that has a lot of links to brush sites and tutorials. You can get help there for all your photoshop problems and tips and stuff.

And to smooth those edges P79 I would zoom up and use a 1 pixel brush to fill in the empty spots on the edges. Just fill in the right spots until you get what you want. The blur tool doesn't do a good job at all.

I've found a simple way to make rounded edges look smoother, save it as a PNG.

Yeah but PNG's don't save transparency.

I was going to test that out on a different colored background and it appeared transparent for some reason.Click HERE and look at the bottom.Weird,on photoshop the checkered background representing transparency wasn't there.

that's because png does preserve transparency. it actually does so better than gifs in that certain pngs allow for semi-transparency. therefore, round appears round rather than jagged...as certain pixels that help accentuate the curve aren't completely transparent.

pngs are generally better quality than gifs in still images. the only downside to png is that it doesn't allow animation.

Hmm... I always saved everything I did as a GIF file.

But, if I didn't finish it, I would save it as a Photoshop file, so I can finish it later on.
