Open it and go click Image>Canvas Size then change the size to the banner you want to put it in. Move all the layers of the banner to the one with the movie.

"The best" would be an opinion, but the newest is Adobe Photoshop CS 2.

I have a question, is it possible to convert WMV files into GIF files? If so, then how?

This might help. Most people download brushes from DeviantArt. Me, I can't download them from there (dumb mac), so I go searching Google until I find something.

I have a question or two. How do I use the gradient for the Techy Button. I don't even know how the Marques tool works. ^_^'

I don't have CS2, but I don't think you can make animations in it. You need Adobe Imageready for that. :)

Oh ok, now I see. depending on the pictrue, there are lots of different ways to get rid of the white background. Try the Magic Eraser first of all. That would be right clicking the eraser tool and then selecting magic eraser. Usually, this doesn't get all the white off, so you may have to blend the white into the background by blurring it or something.

The method I use the most is to copy merged the background, past it as a new layer, put your image behind it, and erase parts of the new layer so that only the image shows, and not the white space. This also give you a nice belnding effect. Use a soft brush when erasing though.
