Official PE2K Netbattle Server!

I remember a while back someone here ran a PE2K server on netbattle, and I thought that it worked pretty well.

I've really been fed up with some of the people on the biggest server on there (Smogon) (and before he pounces on me: No, Raik, I'm not talking to or about you) So, I think it's time to get that back up anbd running.

I'll hopefully be able to keep it up most of the time, and we can post rules and such in a thread here,

I'll post the details once I have them.

good idea, yeah I remember khold started a server to meet our needs for war season 3.

and yeah...smogon...as one of the original tafop members, I must say that smogon blows. I miss Tafop ;_;

anyhow back on to my original train of thought pe2k server=good idea

Cool. It's going onlines once we set up the rules and staff for the server. I'll try to keep it up as often as I can, but I'll need responsible mods to keep an eye on things when I'm not around.

Shall I create another thread as an FAQ / rules thread?

Thanks Fing for remembering who started the first server. Mana helped admin in.

As a Smogon member, I object. Yeah, there are a bunch of faggots that run around Smogon, but it IS the best server, and it IS the best competitive battling website.

SO, anyway some people have said that they don't like the legendary ban. What legendaries do you think should be permissible?

Also, please check the rules thread for time standards.

So far I've got one mod: VT. Is there anyone else here who is interesting in becoming a mod for the server?

i would be interested in modding the server and helping the netbattlers at this forum.

Well, now both Alex and VT are mods. Alex said he can mod from 3-6PM on weekdays, so at least that'll be a start.

I'll talk to VT and try to get an idea of hours up soon.

Erm, Zam, I can just send you the scripts from my PE2K server (has built in Pokedex and some other stuff, like muting). I can host the server while you can't. You have AOL?

Zam I can mod the server from 9 to 2 on weekdays and all day on weekends.

The server is pretty nice. =) You said ya made me a mod but you didnt. =X lol, but that's ok. =P Dunno if you got the scripting done or not, but I hope you did.

Maybe you'll like to get better mods and don't just appoint people who request to be one? I mean, come on, you're expecting Alex and VT to mod us. I'm not trying to put them down or anything, but it's duh those two can't lead.

We don't need some legendary ban or anything, nobody gets respected for winning with those uber things so legendary users are either not respected or not liked(meaning, nobody wants to battle with them and stuff). Yeah, something like that.
