PE2K Netbattle Server: Rules and Info

PE2K Colosseum is a Netbattle server meant to serve the members of the PE2K Forums, though others are welcome.

[Statement of Purpose]: to create a friendly an comfortable atmosphere for pokémon trainers of all ages to battle and enjoy themselves.

[Rules]:

1.) Respect others: Don't talk down to people or make fun of them. This one should be self-explanitory/common sense.

2.) No profanity: There could be little kids in here, so leave your potty mouth at the door.

4.) Don't overuse legendaries/00bers: An 00ber pokémon is one whose stats are so high that it takes 2 or more pokémon to KO, or another 00ber. As with legendaries, this too can get out of hand. Note that all legendary pokémon are considered to be 00ber, so this rule doesn't apply to them, since they're not allowed at all. So...exactly what pokémon ARE 00bers (other than the legendaries?), well, here's the list: Dragonite, Metagross, Tyranitar, Salamence, Blissey, Skarmory. [If there's another pokémon you think I've missed, PM me please]

5.) Do NOT ask to be a mod or admin: I've come to have very little patience about this. Just don't do it. Not only will the answer be 'no', but it actually LOWERS your chances of ever being chosen, and I will kick anyone who whines or asks "why?". And if you really anger me, than don't be surprised if you end up banned.

When will this server be online? Whenever I can monitor what goes on within the server. Once I get more mods, I'll be able to keep it online more often.

[NOTE: {Server Time Standard} Please note that all times afiliated with this server are in Eastern Standard Time (since the serve is being run from that zone)

Easy Time Conversion:

EST = PST + 3
EST = MST + 2
EST = CST + 1
EST = GMT - 5

are you sure a legendary ban is absolutely neccesary? maybe just a limit of one or two, would be better.

2) Bear with me, I just started using Netbattle so if I am missing something obvious, someone protect me from Raik Question is, what is the server named? I didn't see anything dreadfully obvious when I looked at the Server List (and I do realize Zam might not have it up yet as he said Afternoon/Night today)

The server is PE2K Colosseum and it's not always up. That's probaly why you cant find it.

I had the server up for a bit of that evening I got back, but netbattle isn't working correctly on my computer at this point....so I'll try to fix it to put the server back up ASAP.

Unfortunately not....Netbattle isn't letting me boot up the server >_<

I can't figure out what's wrong with it. I've tried reinstalling, but it didn't help. x_x

your server should be able to connect but the registry can only hold so many servers iirc so just let the server "try to get a connection" it will after a couple tries like my server. SO next time just let the server try to connection it may takes a couple minutes so just leave it.

I have a question. Sorry if it sounds newbish, but...

What's wrong with Wobbufett? The other ones listed as banned I can understand, but is Wobby really that powerful?

I mean, he's been one of my favorite pokémon ever since I started playing gold, and I really like his whole counter theme, but is it really as strong as a legendary pokémon?
