Okay. GIMP is freeware and millions of times better than paint in the first place. So go download GIMP (just search it on Google, I'm not your nanny) and once you download it, open it up. Then, copy and paste the image into GIMP, and go to the GIMP box with all of the tools. There's one that will look like a magic wand. It can remove all of the white from the picture instantly.

I don't know if this is the problem you're having... but...
If you're having trouble with the black backgrounds when copying the sugimori pics, follow these steps:

1. Open the image you want. For example: http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/pict...ugimori111.png
2. Find the Print Screen button on your keyboard (Prt Scr or similar) and press it. [This takes a screen shot of the page you're currently on.]
3. Paste into your Paint screen.
4. Cut out the image.

and you're done. It shouldn't have a black background at all. Hope this is what you needed. xD

Why won't the Pe2K Sugoromi Images work? Try Wikipedia. They have Sinnoh images.

true they have most but some i dont think they have

EVERYONE listen ive found a way to get white backgrounds shdy your idea worked but this is a little bit quicker
1.get you [url=http://pokemonelite2000.com/pictures/suigmori/sugimori277.png]image[url]
2.cos it has a black background you fill in the black with white
3. now click on the buttons drift told you too
4.select the image and move it to where you want!!
