Charizard would win because it can learn earthquake so it will take out Typlosion in a heart beat. If typlosion use earthquake then Charzard can just fly

Charizard's flying type has ups and downs obviously. Being weak to electric and 4x weakness to rock definitely don't help, but flying type gives you immunity to earthquake which is awesome since you'll be weak to it without the flying type. As well, resistance to fighting and bug come in handy.

But yeah, Typhlosion does get eruption which is a really good move.

I am sorry to say that in a match between them, beelyzard and scarflosion, scarflosion would win, it gets Rock slide and probably stone edge. And if its EVed in atk W/EQ and TPunch it would probably win.

well we aren't talking specifically about charizard vs. typholosion in a battle we are talking about how they perform in all scenarios.

and overall charizard is more diverse making it better.

GO with Charizard. He has a bigger movepool and BellyZard/Dragon Dance Charizard are both deadly combinations if you can get arounud Stealth Rock.

I prefer Typhlosion because he typically requires no setup, and the Scarf leader set is very good for scaring a lot of Pokemon into a lot of damage between HP Electric, Focus Punch, and Eruption especially. Charizard is a really good user of Belly Drum, but getting him in is an issue, and any slight amount of damage he might take switching in may ruin him. Moreover, I kind of prefer Typhlosion slightly because he's been among my favorites over Charizard for a long while...>_>, so yeah.

Charizard FTW. It will take your opponent to predict what type of Zard you are using. Charizard also has a better move pool and can work physically and specially. So Charizard FTW.
