(SU) The Trial of Juno RP - United in Arms
Based on the hit fan fiction that won awards all over Pokémon Elite 2000 forums, Serebii Forums, and PokéCommunity, Trial of Juno now becomes a role play for avid RPers to enjoy and be a part of.
Note: Even if you haven’t ever read Trial of Juno I or II, you can still easily participate in this RP. But knowing the full background story would help, and I welcome everyone to read it.
Also, the events of this RP aren’t canon storyline to the fan fiction, this is a kind of alternate realty situation (Plotline begins from TOJ II, when the Silver Apex joins forces with the Southern Tempest to seek refuge from the Black Onyx Imperial Kingdom. In this RP, players will RP events that happen before the attack and would end up changing the end storyline.)
THE STORY SO FAR – THE BLACK EXODUS
What if Juno never walked alone?
Far away from the Pokémon World exists another planet named Kivistal, where only Pokémon live in their own societies in a world very much like our own. For many years, the planet had been ravaged by brutal wars, but the most recent of these wars had been the conflict between the Silver Rebellion and the Crimson Stars. An evil human by the name of Zander had turned the once peaceful world into a submissive war zone under his command and nearly destroyed the Silver Rebellion. However, the citizens of the Silver Rebellion had hope in a prophecy that stated a hero Pikachu by the name of Juno, born of dreams and far more powerful than any average Pikachu ever born, would come to save the Silver Rebellion and bring the tattered nation victory over the Crimson Stars. Upon Juno’s arrival, he proved he was capable of things the Silver Apex never expected, and befriended many of them. When it came down to the final battle with the Crimson Stars, Juno had fulfilled the prophecy, even though it had cost him his life and brought him horrible pain to defeat Zander.
When the war had been won, the Silver Rebellion had then become the Silver Apex, and they gave Juno a hero’s burial, and never forgot about the one who saved them. It was then the Silver Apex had begun their reconstruction to revive their shattered society in hope of one day bringing peace to themselves.
They were never given that chance.
Under the command of King Skepter, a brutal and unforgiving Ampharos, the Black Onyx Kingdom had moved into the Silver Apex, and crushed them easily with them weakened from the war and still in reconstruction. In a rush of greed and lust, the Black Onyx tore virtually every nation apart to either steal their commodities and assets, or to simply lay waste to anyone that could possibly oppose them. Unfortunately, they were incredibly successful.
The survivors of the Silver Apex had been devastated, but it was at that moment that Juno had left the heavenly world of Utopia to join his fellow comrades yet again. However, he had been too late to stop the destruction, and so much damage had already been done. With very little choice, the Silver Apex had then made an exodus to the Azure Islands, where they joined forces with the last surviving nation, the Southern Tempest and their leader Aries the Sceptile.
Time is running out. Somehow the alliance of the Silver Apex and the Southern Tempest needs to find a way to break down the Black Onyx Kingdom… before all of Kivistal falls in the hands of one, greedy king.
YOUR ROLE
Unlike in the storyline of Trial of Juno II, the Silver Apex and the Southern Tempest won’t be sitting back in hiding, but will be sending out rogue groups to secretly attack the Black Onyx through covert operations. Meanwhile, the Black Onyx will be on the search to make sure no one is left that opposes them (They don’t know they are in the Azure Islands yet). This is where the breakpoint begins, where this RP will create an “alternate reality” ending through the actions of the RPers.
Your character is a Pokémon, fighting on behalf of the Silver Apex or the Southern Tempest for survival and vengeance against the Black Onyx Kingdom, or you are on the Black Onyx Kingdom side, searching and taking out the remainder resistance to make sure no one is left to oppose your home country. (Keep in mind that the sides will be auto-balanced, which means both the Silver Apex/Southern Tempest alliance will have the same number of people as the Black Onyx Kingdom. If the sides are looking uneven, I will ask some people to switch until the sides are even again).
Also, the Pokémon you choose will affect how you fight and what your role will be on your side.
Ground Forces: Any Pokémon can be a part of the ground forces of their side, but usually the fully evolved ones are the main core of this assault force. All kinds of weapons are allowed, but usually Pokémon in this arrangement use heavy caliber weapons with a blade sidearm in addition to their normal attack moves. These forces also remain as the standard infantry when it comes to battle and warfare.
Armored Forces: The Pokémon of Kivistal have learned the engineering behind the motor, the engine, and are able to make mobile, armored vehicles. However, unlike most human tanks and military vehicles, the machines of Kivistal are much slower, but much more stable and durable. Only the strongest Pokémon drive and operate these heavy machines (But anyone can be a rider and a gunner), which are also in very short supply. Also, the Pokémon driver of these vehicles must be large, strong, and over 250 pounds, (Machamp, Rhydon, Slaking and Tyranitar are good examples of Pokémon that could fit this role). Limit two of these roles per side.
Aerial Forces: The Pokémon of Kivistal never invented planes, so instead many of them ride Flying-type Pokémon to gain an edge in aerial combat. However, only smaller, light weight Pokémon can fit this role (Must have hands and feet, and must be under 100 pounds, use a Pokédex to see if the Pokémon you have in mind is acceptable. Pokémon like Treecko, Charmander, Totodile, and Nuzleaf are good examples of Pokémon that could fit this role). In the Silver Apex, the aerial forces are called Storm Riders and use Pidgeots. In the Southern Tempest, they are called Typhoon Runners and use Swellows, and in the Black Oynx, they are called the Royal Enforcers, and use Altarias. Exceptions are possible, such as using a Staraptor, Honchkrow or similar flying Pokémon, but this is the general standard (Lugia, Ho-oh, and Rayquaza are out of the question because of their size, but I’m okay with Articuno, Moltres and smaller legendaries being used, as long as only one of them is taken by an RPer!). In addition, Aerial Forces only carry small firearms (rifles and submachine guns) and blades if close combat with other Aerial Forces becomes evident. However, both the mount and the rider are free to use their own Pokémon attacks.
DEATH AND DYING
Unlike other role plays, your character CAN die in this RP and CAN BE KILLED BY AN ENEMY ROLE PLAYER IF DONE FAIRLY AND REALISTICALLY. Just as much as the elements of the afterlife are present in Trial of Juno, they are also existent in this RP. If your character dies, they are definitely not removed from the RP. Dying in this RP opens up a whole new element of the RP itself, so its not such a bad thing. In fact, in some cases, death may actually be a necessity to accomplish other objectives that only places in the afterlife can provide.
The Abyss – The Abyss is pretty much a Hell for Pokémon.
By default, anyone on the Black Onyx side goes here after death. Upon dying in this way, the RPer is allowed to start at any location on the map they like. In the Abyss, its much easier to find dark sources of infernal power that can only be found here. The longer you stay down in the Abyss, the more dark power you can find and acquire, but keep in mind that its literally torture on the mind and soul to be down there for long periods of time.
Also, it IS possible to reach the Abyss without dying, but the only physical entrance is located in the Black Onyx Industrial District, through a hidden temple that has a staircase leading all the way down to the Abyss’s depths (this time, you don’t need to shut down the area’s power like in TOJ II). If this route is taken, the RPer enters the Abyss by means of a long, dark staircase through the blood Pools of Lahtel. This is the only possible way for RPers on the Silver Apex and Southern Tempest side to enter the Abyss to complete mission objectives. Also, if this method is taken, technically, you walk through the Abyss alive as a body and soul rather than just a soul without a body. This will make a difference in some areas.
Escaping the Abyss and going back to Kivistal is a little tougher. RPers on the Black Onyx side need to go to the Temple of Sunken Souls to return to Kivistal, but there are many dangerous trials there that the RPer needs to perform to show they are strong enough to go back and are determined to finish their mission. As for Silver Apex and Southern Tempest RPers, escaping the Abyss is easy. All you need to do is die (should be pretty grizzly), but doing this also takes you to Utopia instead of back to Kivistal (As an added bonus and fun extra in following TOJ II’s storyline, your character also gains the angelic Seraphim Wings to use in Utopia for flight as a reward for enduring the horrors of the Abyss).
Utopia – As you guessed it or read before, Utopia is the Heaven for Pokémon. However, Utopia is actually a trap in disguise for RPers, even though it was never meant to be.
By default, anyone on the Silver Apex or Southern Tempest goes here after death. In contrast to the Abyss, Utopia is a major source of holy energy and light, and can provide power and weapons in the fight against darkness. However, as in Trial of Juno II, Utopia is incredibly peaceful, joyous, and wonderful in every aspect imaginable. You have 20 RP posts to do your missions, get what you need, and get out. If you take too long, your character involuntarily gives up on their mission to stop the Black Onyx to enjoy the eternity of Utopia. At that point, you need another RPer to find your character to get them to focus on the mission again, and if that is done, then your 20 post limit gets reset again. However, past 20 posts, the amount of holy power you obtain grows considerably over time, so it might not be so bad to yield to this for some time.
Unlike the Abyss, it is NOT possible to reach Utopia without dying. However, the only way for Black Onyx RPers to enter Utopia is through cheating judgment in a way that only a very few know about. To do it, you would need to travel to Sakieri in the Faraway Hills to find the Fountain of Cleansing. Its power will temporarily clean your soul of the sins, but your mind can still be focused on the mission at hand. After that, death is necessary, but it can not be suicide. Unlike Silver Apex and Southern Tempest RPers, staying in Utopia for more than 20 posts will get you found as unjustly residing in paradise, and you’ll be sent down into the Abyss instead.
Escaping Utopia is not so much of a challenge in itself as getting out of Utopia before the countdown. If you want to leave Utopia, all that needs to be done is to fly to the Well of Harmony, northeast of the Fields of Paradise. The Well of Harmony exists for souls to return to their homeworld if they left behind something direly important in their unfinished life.
MISSIONS
In this RP, Kivistal-based missions involve sabotaging enemy assets, taking out key leaders, holding areas, and acquiring resources to help your campaign, depending on what side your character is on. However, the missions can go further than this. There are members of the Silver Apex, Southern Tempest, and the Black Onyx that have been killed, but still plan on helping the campaigns they once belonged to (Sita is an example of this in TOJ II). They can be your spiritual informants on relics, power, and sources that only exist in the Abyss and Utopia.
As far as RP power, the more complicated the mission, the better the reward. Kivistal-based missions may involve the discovery of lost, unaligned fighters or mercenaries that can help your cause, weapons caches, salvageable vehicles and technology, and so on. However, the real power lies in missions based in the Abyss and Utopia (having both involved is even better as TOJ II proves!). This can include the retrieval of powerful weapons, arcane (or demonic!) abilities, and other supernatural forces that can help benefit your campaign’s cause. Remember, the harder you work for it, the more powerful it can be, but it should involve many trials and struggles for your character to endure.
POWERS
Each RP character begins with a small minor power that separates them from the rest of the forces, but not too significantly. In TOJ II, Juno’s power lies within his faster reaction time and his accuracy. Think along the same line. Maybe your character is much more endurable than other Pokémon, is more perceptive and has outstanding senses, has an incredible jumping ability, or has exceptional rogue skills that allow them to go unseen and infiltrate enemy areas. Think along that line, but don’t make the power too wild in the beginning. Later on… almost anything is possible with work behind it…
SIGN UP
If you’ve read TOJ I and II and you’d like to RP one of the characters that already exist in the storyline (Such as role playing Aries, Echo, Cythan, and even Skepter) go for it! In fact, I encourage it, just make sure their personality is the same as it was in the story (I’m RPing Juno though, so leave him be. XP). Also, RPing dead characters (Such as Sinis, Sever, Vexcel or Achilles) is possible, but you have to find a way to get back to Kivistal. But as always, you’re perfectly welcome to create your very own character.
So, are you ready to immerse yourself into the Trial of Juno universe?
Name: Your character’s name. Note that Pokémon characters in Kivistal do NOT have typical human names, so your character’s name should also reflect that.
Species: Simply put, what Pokémon your character is.
Alignment: Either be a part of the Silver Apex/Southern Tempest alliance, or be a part of the Black Onyx Kingdom. If the teams become imbalanced, you may be asked to switch.
Military Role: Either Ground, Armored, or Aerial force. If Armored, describe your vehicle. If Aerial, describe your flying mount and give them some personality as well.
Power: The Minor Power you have now. Take care not to make it too extreme.
Distinguishing Markings: Marks such as scars, different colored eyes, or similar aspects that make you appear to be slightly different than other Pokémon of your species.
Personality: How your character behaves and their emotional intelligence.
History: The background of your character, how they grew up and became what they are today.
RULES
- Please, only mature and serious RPers only. Posts should be at least two paragraphs, but having much more than that is strongly encouraged. Good spelling and grammar is needed too.
- Include your character’s name, side, and location at the top of each of your posts. That way, if you have multiple characters, people can tell which one you’re RPing, what side they’re on, and your allies know where to find you.
- There will be a discussion thread for this, keep that for the OOCs.

Re: (SU) The Trial of Juno RP - United in Arms
LOCATIONS
These maps are canon to the storyline of Trial of Juno, but if you’ve read the series, you may notice a lot of new locations throughout Kivistal, the Abyss, and Utopia on these maps. Feel free to explore these sites as well, as always, there’s plenty of things the fan fiction never touches but are possible now as an RP.
Locations with small dots are either small towns and cities or places of significance (such as a temple), while large white dots indicate massive metropolises.
KIVISTAL
Shattered by war and strife, Kivistal has changed drastically throughout the years. Much of the landscape has been physically changed from the harsh combat, as well as darker influences being arisen from the depths. Now, the Black Onyx Kingdom dominates most of the world, and many once thriving cities now lay in ruins.
The Brownstone Islands – The Brownstone Islands are mostly a derelict of civilization, being rock islands that happen to be difficult to settle on and cultivate. However, they weren’t always this way, as bits and pieces of civilizations long gone still remain scattered throughout the area. Maybe they’ve left behind something as well.
Crimsonland – This was the main battleground during the first war when the Crimson Stars and the Silver Apex opposed each other years ago. Most of this area now remains as arid deserts and several mountain ranges, and most of the locations that the Crimson Stars owned were also taken over by the Black Onyx, showing no mercy on anyone. Cities in this area are either in ruins or completely abandoned. Nothing is left of the once mighty Crimson Stars, but their outposts and the once massive city of Jasandax remain and remnants of the harsh and seemingly endless war.
Black Onyx Kingdom – Unjustly the throne of Kivistal, the Black Onyx Kingdom thrives in one of the last, fertile areas of Kivistal. Meanwhile, at the cost of their enemies, their cities have grown tremendously, and their support and morale continues to be unstoppable. In the last few years of conquest, the Black Onyx Kingdom has grown highly industrialized, and keeps a zealous and potent military power. Monaraca is the capital of it all, and home to the mighty King Skepter.
The Silver Apex – Of all the nations brutalized by the Black Onyx Kingdom, the Silver Apex was struck the hardest, unable to defend after the post-war trauma from fighting the Crimson Stars and barely surviving. Not one city remains in the blackened deserts and mountain ranges of the once incredible nation, and the nation’s citizens themselves barely survive to keep the Silver Apex alive. Symarix, once a bustling metropolis, now remains in ruins of woe. Still, regardless of what has happened, many of the Silver Apex’s citizens still cling on to hope…
Crescent Moon – Before the Silver Apex fell to King Skepter, Crescent Moon thriving off of innovations, industrial revolutions, and gave new heights to engineering and manufacturing. However, it was a supplier nation, rather than a militarized one. Because of this, it was an easy and ideal target for the Black Onyx to take over, and with very little to defend with, the nation of Crescent Moon bowed to the will of the Black Onyx Kingdom to be spared, but only after several senseless massacres. Today, it remains fully active in supplying Black Onyx’s insidious war effort. As for the landscape, most of it is unfertile, as well as polluted. Whatever vegetation once here is now dead.
Conda – Slowly degenerating with the rest of the Silver Apex, Conda is barely inhabitable due to many earthquakes and other natural disasters. However, some areas still remain with some vegetation and lush valleys, but much of it is rapidly depleting. In the meantime, Conda was never significantly inhabited to be considered a target by the Black Onyx.
Shale Ridge – Once a mighty nation in itself, Shale Ridge, like Crescent Moon, was taken over by the Black Onyx, but not after a struggle. After a long war, its citizens gave up, and only saw themselves losing in the future. To avoid being completely destroyed, they surrendered to Black Onyx, and it was only through this that their cities were spared to serve the Black Onyx campaign. Unlike most of the world, Shade Ridge is still a very habitable area with thriving highlands and plains. Cities here are also still alive, but stripped of original morale. Darenkartha is nick-named the “Stripped Sister,” being forced unwillingly to support the ones that killed the mighty nation’s culture. But now… they have no choice…
Faraway Hills – This small nation of green plains, forests, and gray mountains met its demise only after the Silver Apex had been shattered. Absolutely refusing to bow their heads to King Skepter, the Pokémon of Faraway Hills paid for their defiance with their lives. Now, the land remains intact, but the cities are shattered and the once peaceful nation lies in nothing but death and ruins.
The Azure Islands – The tropical and lively Azure Islands now remain as the last haven of the fallen Silver Apex and the surviving Southern Tempest. Before being resettled, the Azure Islands were once home to the Midnight Gemini, a secretive clan that was discovered by the Black Onyx and brutally massacred with very little resistance due to the Black Onyx’s superior weaponry. Meanwhile, unlike much of the rest of the world, tropical forests and foliage live on here, as well as the Pokémon of the fallen nations and their hope to one day get back what they had lost. In the meantime, many secrets lie here…
THE ABYSS
In truth, the Abyss goes on forever as an endless realm of torture, but these areas will be the main center around the RP.
Land of the Forsaken, the Abyss is the shattered land of the evil dead. As the feared afterlife of wailing and abysmal pain and suffering, the land is laden with oceans of blood, fields of burnt ground, pits of boiling lava and many other devices of torture and misery. Many dark forces are at work here in these twisted lands of evil.
The Deathlands (Eastern and Western) – Seemingly endless plains of burnt ground and fiery hellholes, not even fire Pokémon even remotely enjoy the burning smell of brunt flesh and brimstone. Few locations of any possible interest are here, but usually involve excessive amounts of pain and suffering. Meanwhile, southeast of the Western Deathlands lies the twisted city of Necropolis, seemingly floating on a plate in a hideous pool of boiling vomit and excrement.
The City of Dis – Horrendously massive, dark, and intimidating, The City of Dis is a twisted, multi-level metropolis of ruin in reality, but a disgusting and perverted city of sadism in illusion. Those who dare walk in this nightmare see a city that is always against them, defiling their name in every way possible in its dark streets. For everyone, the City of Dis is different for them. Here will you find your personal grudges glamorized, your name and essence defiled on the neon signs and billboards, and every citizen there will be your worst enemies and nightmares, filling anyone who walks the streets with warped paranoia. The City of Dis remains as the most feared element of the Abyss, always customized and tailored for each soul to inflict maximum misery and pain upon those who enter it.
As a soul – Entering the City of Dis as a soul means that the illusion of the city is real to you. To you, the city seems very much alive and in deep hatred of you and only you. Every threat is real.
As body and soul – Through entering the City of Dis actually alive, Dis can be manipulated by you through ignoring the illusion and seeing the reality that the City of Dis is actually just a massive metropolis of ruins in reality. Through ignoring the illusions, you can walk through the city’s walls and buildings as long as there’s nothing there in reality to block your passage. This may unlock some of Dis’s deeper secrets…
The Schism – As a disheveled land of twisting bones, ribs, and sharp marrow shards, The Schism is desolate and hard to navigate. No one is really sure if anything of importance exists here, but much of it has gone unseen as well, so great, dark power may be here just waiting to be found by the bravest of warriors. However, be warned that walking along these lands is as painful as walking on broken glass. Sharp and serrated bones are jutting out and protruding in every direction and fashion, making it very easy to be cut, stabbed, and impaled in this deserted derelict of bone.
Vou Hast – The intimidating region of Vou Hast is a land of gratuitous violence, gore, and gluttony. The very land itself is smothered with brains, vital organs, skin, soiled flesh, and intestines, as well as massive pits filled with even more flesh and vitals. Meanwhile, the shambling city of Kammo in the northwest is nicknamed the “Bloodbath of the Abyss.” The city itself literally bleeds.
Vou Hast can only be entered as a soul. Entering as a body and soul corrupts the mind to be psychotic enough to greedily consume and indulge the mounds and mounds of flesh until exploding and death, layering Vou Hast with even more gore.
UTOPIA
In truth, Utopia goes on forever, but this area will be the main focus of the RP.
As an eternal realm of happiness, pleasure, and delight of dreams and freedom for Pokémon that have led honest and good-willed lives, Utopia is a powerful source of both holy and light energy. Utopia is in fact the dream world of every Pokémon, where desires and wishes come true forever. While it is possible to leave Utopia, most Pokémon don’t for the simple reason of being surrounded by endless comfort and happiness forever more.
The Dovewing Isles – The gentle and peaceful Dovewing Isles are the home of the docile and the serene. Here, the land grows soft and white with unfreezing, dry snow, turning the area into a delightful, comfortable, and warm winter wonderland. Toward the outskirts of the islands, the snow turns a slight pink color, which then becomes magenta toward the tips. Meanwhile, the main city of Innocence is highly urbanized, but always clean, peaceful, and quiet.
Emerald Eternity Islands – Blissfully tropical with sunny shores and soft, sandy beaches, succulent and luscious fruit and welcoming palm trees and tropical foliage, the Emerald Eternity Islands is what many would call the “ultimate vacation and holiday spot.” Never too hot and always “just right” for everyone, the Emerald Eternity Islands also has a gentle breeze flowing through its shores as the Pokémon residing here lay in eternal relaxation.
Nightsky – Nightsky continues to be the new world for dreamers, imagination, and is a bustling sea of creativity and wonder. As a land of pleasant and peaceful sleep with inspiring good dreams, magic hours, and stargazing, this area continues to be a heaven for lovers of the night. Here, the stars are always out in the sky with comets and shooting stars, and auroras that spark new imagination.
Fields of Paradise – Pleasant, relaxing, and refreshing, the Fields of Paradise offers a fresh and homely feeling for those that have passed away. The center area is a combination of spring and winter, offering the comforts of both with blossoming white flowers and trees while the ground is covered with a soft snow that never melts and never feels icy, cold, and wet. Toward the outskirts, the landscape becomes more like the new life of spring with flowers that never wilt or vanish. Meanwhile, the majestic and massive City of the Horizon is always emanating with cheer within its reflective mirror walls and its golden streets. It also remains home to many fallen members of the Silver Apex.
The Twilight Plateau – As a beautiful range of soothing blue and violet plains with majestic mountains and ranges, the Twilight Plateau appears to be a landscape made with a peaceful watercolor painting appearance. As an area of healing, the comfortable landscape radiates with an aura that calms and relieves souls of the hardships that were faced in the life before, as well as offering transition into happiness for those that led very difficult and challenged lives.
The Sunrise Plains – Colorful, always brimming with new life and refreshment, the Sunrise Plains easily brings back the remembered and cherished memories of youth and glorifies those moments in living color. Within the Sunrise Plains is the setting of a beautiful summer day splashed with the colors of the sunrise, vibrant and fresh with energy. Also, the Sunrise Plains especially caters to young Pokémon that had passed away early in their lives, and allows them to forget and move on from whatever tragedy befell them. Meanwhile, Awewind in the north with its very clean and peaceful urban streets serves as a very loving family oriented city, and is the main location for loved ones to reunite.

Definitely joining. I just need a bit of time to come up with a character and read more of the Fan Fictions to get an idea of where to go and what to do. ^^

Re: (SU) The Trial of Juno RP - United in Arms
So awesome... =3
I think I have an idea of how to do this, but something tells me I should hurry up with reading the story. I'm only a few chapters into it. X_x
Name: Zakuri
Species: Buizel
Alignment: Southern Tempest alliance
Military Role: Aerial Force. Like most of the others in the Southern Tempest alliance, he rides a Swellow- also his best friend, Kenji. Since they are friends, they treat each other equally.
Power: Everybody knows that Buizel are lightning fast in water, but Zakuri has a talent for running on dry land as well.
Distinguishing Markings: Instead of black eyes, like most Buizel, Zakuri has bright Emerald eyes. Also, the tuft of fur on his head droops and covers his left eye.
Personality: Zakuri always goes out of his way to be nice to others, but only out of the fear that they won't like him. Zakuri wants to be friends with everybody and be on everybody's good side. He lacks focus except when he's on the battlefield. He's a happy and optimistic personality, one that could be expected from a Buizel. He can also be very naive sometimes.
History: Zakuri was like any other Buizel for a while. He led a very normal life in Shale Ridge- Until Shale Ridge surrendered to the Black Onyx. Him and his family, being Buizel, swam all the way to the Azure Islands to avoid them.
Zakuri was devastated that he had to leave Shale Ridge, and vowed that he would return and help defeat the Black Onyx. After befriending a Swellow named Kenji, he eventually became part of the Southern Tempest Alliance's Aerial Force due to his ideal design- Lightweight, Fast, and small.

Why am I suddenly reminded of the movie Dogma?
Sorry, those were just comments that I had to get out. I'm making my reservation right now yo.

Re: (SU) The Trial of Juno RP - United in Arms
Neo, this looks freaking awesome ^^! You know I'm signing up! Hmm...Time for a comeback from an old persona...
-Name: Landon Denathos
-Species: Pikachu (don't you dare say a damn thing xD)
-Alignment: The Silver Apex/Southern Tempest Alliance (Originally a part of the Southern Tempest)
-Military Role: The Typhoon Runners
Mount
-Name: Sivaris
-Species: Staraptor
-Personality: He's a tough Staraptor who would never give up on a mission, and you'd be hard pressed to intimidate him. He felt a connection to Landon because of his strange and yet likable personality, and therefore offered to become his mount as soon as the two met.
He likes quick and forceful attacks, and usually ones that get right up in someone's face so he could see their look of surprise and horror before he dispatched them. He is not one who desires destruction, but he wants the Pokemon of Kivistal to live in peace without being controlled, and therefore believes the Black Onyx Kingdom must be dealt with on their level. -Power: He is more agile than even most Pikachus become, and he's still young. He has greater power within him, but it mostly unleashes itself in his anger-state; this begets destruction that he may not mean. This is minor, however, to that of the great Juno...
-Distinguishing Markings: Landon
The fur on top of Landon's head is spiked slightly, but this is natural; he doesn't use gel, or anything like that. The electric sacs on his cheeks are not red like most Pikachus, but rather they are as black as his eyes. These are of little importance, as they denote little.
His most distinguishing feature about him is that he has a cross-shaped scar on his left eye, rendering it useless and sealing it shut. This he sustained at an early age. It hasn't even in the slightest faded back into his skin and fur. It's unmistakably visible.
EDIT: Draconic Landon ( Pic #1) ( Pic #2)
The only thing that seems to have stayed the same after transformation would be his scarred left eye. Other than that, he's very different now.
His transformation has made Landon larger than the normal 1'3'' of the average Pikachu; now he stands at 2' tall. His yellow fur was gone, replaced by black scales running the length of his entire body. The thunderbolt tail was no longer on his rear, but in it's place, there was a very powerful-looking tail similar to one that a Charizard might have, just on a smaller degree; on the end of the tail were two spikes pointed the same way as the tip. His paws has four sharp claws on the fingers, lethally pointed. Landon's good eye wasn't the black color always seen on a Pikachu, but a blood red color. His ears had been changed into wide draconic fins that were lower on his head, and were a deep red color on the inside. Perhaps the most shocking difference was that he had large, Golbat-like wings that were black on the outside, but the insides were a deep red.
-Personality: Always optimistic, he always has a smile on his face, unless the situation turns really serious. His happy mood often rubs off on others around him, so it's hard to stay mad at or near Landon at all. Because he's always smiling, other Pokemon tried to intimidate him, but found this to be impossible.
Despite his laughing nature, he can be serious behind it all. He never gives up, and refuses to give in to the Black Onyx Kingdom. He has underlying reasons for this, but he doesn't bother others with his history unless they blatantly ask.
If the situation becomes dire, and something happens that would be hell to another, he'll instantly switch from the happy-go-lucky joker to a death machine that knows one emotion: anger. Few have seen it. None have lived through it.
-History: Landon was raised in the mountainous region of the Faraway Hills; not the easiest place for an electric-type family to live, but they managed very well. Landon's father, a Raichu named Shirazon, was able to look after the family well with some help of his dearest friend, a Wartortle named Trais. Together, the duo kept ground-, rock-, steel-, and fire-types away from the struggling family.
Landon's mother, a Pikachu by the name of Sorai, was concerned when she saw Landon's black electric sacs on his cheeks. She thought this might be a sign of a deathly illness, so she cared for him as best she could, to raise him as well as she thought he could be. Soon, however it was apparent that he didn't need her help very often, as he was much stronger than any Pichu the small family had encountered before. He would help his father lift heavy rocks out of their way, he'd battle assailants often, and even climb high cliffs in an effort to make himself stronger for his mother.
They lived apart from the capitol city of Sakieri, but always helped out with problems the city had, visited often, and kept it going strong. They were valued citizens that could be counted on.
The happy life he knew had to change...
The dreaded day when the Black Onyx Kingdom, once a distant threat, came to the Faraway Hills and demanded obedience. Refusing to bow their heads, a war erupted, and Landon's family got involved trying to protect their friends and allies. During this time, Landon evolved into a Pikachu. The war lasted two years, and Skeptor's forces had made little headway into suppressing the nation. It was then the horrid Ampharos decided to go full out on them: The Royal Enforcers were dispatched.
Within a week of the Royal Enforcers' arrival, the city of Sakieri lay in ruins. Landon and his family had managed to escape death and capture on quite a few occasions. They were awfully lucky (though skill had come into this a bit); this luck was about to run out.
As the last of Sakieri's forces were falling, Landon's family was cornered high up in their mountain home. A horrible battle followed, where many of these Enforcers were killed, but at a terrible price...Shirazon had lost his life to a spear from the leader of this platoon of the RE, who was another Raichu, and Trais was cleanly cut in half by a sword from a Nuzleaf rider.
Landon, abandoning his hiding place with his mother, charged at them, and attacked. He was quicker than his father was, and proved a problem for the RE. He downed a few on his own, though he didn't kill a single one of them. Sorai came out and tried to help him, and the two took down all but two of the RE: the leader, and his second-on-command, a powerful Marowak. Landon and his mother were dead tired, and were barely holding their ground anymore. Getting tired of this, the Marowak pulled out his Bonemerang, which he had sharpened to a deadly edge. He flew high into the air on his Altaria and dived at them, gaining enough speed, and threw the Bonemerang at the electric-types. They had little time to react...
When the Bonemerang made contact with Sorai, it cut her head clean off, causing her body to collapse mid-rush at the Leader. Landon was the lucky one of the day. After cutting through Sorai's neck, it's course altered just enough so that he had enough time to duck...at least, to survive. The deadly blade cut across his left eye, destroying what use it might've had. Staggering with blood pouring down his face, he was not prepared for the Bonemerang's return trip. It cut his left eye again, exactly 90 degrees angle turn from the last cut.
He collapsed, screaming in physical pain and mental agony. Thinking the battle was won, the Leader came down to capture the elusive Pikachu. However, the anger Landon felt erupted out of him in the form of his Thunder, instantly frying the Raichu and his Altaria mount dead. The Marowak was stunned by this, and therefore had no time to get away from Landon's awesome Quick Attack. Landon had the spear of the leader in his paw, and ran the Marowak and his mount through. Landon collapsed on the bloody mass in his physical and mental exhaustion...
When he awoke, he saw the blood and looked around, realizing what he'd done...afraid, he ran, trying to get to what was left of Sakieri...but when he saw it, it was gone, completely wiped off the face of Kivistal. Landon then knew: he was the last one left out of this war from the Faraway Hills...
Having nothing left, Landon made for the sea, taking one of the last boats that survived the carnage, and set off for the mainland. He wasn't too good with working the boat at first, but he got the hang of it. None of that would matter a couple days later, because a storm hit, and the boat was thrashed and thrown around by massive waves. A particularly large one tossed the boat far and smashed it to bits; Landon lost consciousness even before then...
When he awoke, Landon was in what looked to be a rather small cave. Sunlight poured through the opening he lay by. He felt on his face with his paw and felt a gauze-and-leaf patch over his now useless eye. Looking around for the one who helped him, but finding no one in the cave with him, he got up and looked outside.
A Sandshrew was coming towards the cave, bearing a small bundle of what looked like leaves and berries. By the look in the Sandshrew's eyes and the way the Sandshrew walked, it was obvious that the Ground-type was a female. Her eyes brightened when she saw Landon was awake and well, and she hurried closer.
She apparently had plucked Landon off the beach, unconscious and still bleeding, from what remained of his boat. She made sure he was still alive, and then treated him here in her home within the Azure Islands. They introduced themselves to the other; the Sandshrew was named Zhunjai. She was rather pretty, with shining cerulean eyes, and a pink flower behind one of her ears.
The two bonded over the next few days as they lived in peace on the island, talking about what happened to them, how things in Kivistal have changed, and the threat of the nearly-invincible Black Onyx Kingdom. There was little they could do at the time, so they decided to ignore them. Landon's personality, scarred by his horror, had switched to one of happiness during this time, mostly because of Zhunjai's sweet influence.
However, word reached the two about a resistance called the Southern Tempest. It was working to preserve any who opposed the Black Onyx; Landon and Zhunjai went to join without a second thought. They found the Southern Tempest, and became members quickly.
Landon decided to become one of the Typhoon Runners, which was the Aerial force of the Southern Tempest, because he wanted to fight on equal ground with the Royal Enforcers who destroyed his life. He met a Staraptor named Sivaris, and they became a skilled rider and mount duo.
Zhunjai, on the other hand, felt out of place anywhere else than on the ground (being a ground-type and all...), so she became part of the ground infantry. She was a great marksman, able to snipe targets very far away.
The two have yet to actually be given missions, and therefore stay together whenever possible; they've bonded so much and become very close, that it would be a horror for them to lose one another. Landon, deep inside, knows that it's love he feels for the pretty Sandshrew...
Having never grown up around any in the Silver Apex, Landon had never known the great Juno's legend. This seems about to change, as the Silver Apex has joined the Southern Tempest...
~***~
Yeah, his history seems a bit rough, but I like it ^^. Well, here ya go!

Well this RP is a real piece or work, you know that Neo? And I mean this in a good way. Still need to read over the whole thing.
I'd like to reserve a spot as Latios please. I'm my own mount lmao.

I haven't used this in a while.

Ah. Then you, my friend, have not yet lived. Trust me, you should see it, it's so funny. Anyway, here is my (unfinished) SU. I'll fill in the last of it later. Watching Chain Reaction now.
Name: Talek
Species: Eevee (I'm reverting to my Eevee days)
Alignment: Southern Tempest
Military Role: Ground
Power: You ever played Resistance: Fall of Man? Well, think Nathan Hale's healing abilities. If Talek goes long enough without being harmed, his body quickly heals itself to a certain degree, not completely unless he's not badly damaged.
Distinguishing Markings: Talek's eyes will randomly flash yellow at times (I'm currently on a R:FOM trip)
Personality: Talek is a strong willed, die hard soldier type who doesn't take nonsense, at all. He looks upon troublemakers and funny guys with contempt, and prefers the silent indifference to him of his enemies as he faces them on the battlefield. Truth be told, Talek doesn't like the social thing. He keeps to himself and his gun (hypothetically speaking of course. Talek has no gun since, you know, quadruped).
Talek is also just a bit militaristic. His answer to everything is "let's kill them", to the point where it's his catchphrase. He wants peace, of course, but when it comes to the Black Onyx, he doesn't want any mercy until they surrender. Nothing gives Talek greater pleasure than to kill an enemy on the battlefield, simply because of the pure rush he gets from it. Amongst his particular squadron in the Southern Tempest Army, he is prety well known for his near lethal Shadow Ball and his healing abilities.
History: Talek had a family. He had a home. The Silver Apex was his place back then. But then came the war. He took up arms and boldly fought in Silver Apex's army against the Crimson Stars, and saw the war through, to the win. But then came the Black Onyx Kingdom, and as all know, the war had weakened Silver Apex to the point where they didn't stand a chance. In a large battle along the coastline, they lost. When Talek awoke, he was on a floating chunk of metal, the last remnants of the tank he was manning the guns for.
Talek floated at sea for a month before landing on the shores of the Azure Islands, just a while before thee remainder of the Silver Apex arrived. The first thing he did after getting properly fed and taken care of was to enlist in the southern Tempest army, and to train to get strong enough to evolve and maybe put a big dent in the Black Onyx.

Re: (SU) The Trial of Juno RP - United in Arms
You know what? I like this. This is the best RP I have seen in my life!
Name: Scara
Species: Lucario
Alignment: Black Onyx
Military Role: Ground Force
Power: Scara can't swim so he has a not so special power that lets him float over large bodies of water. Not actually float, but walk or run and he is actually floating. It is like there is no gravity for him when he is going over water. He doesn't need a plane or anything for himself.
Distinguishing Markings: Lucarios usually have red eyes, but Scara's eyes are pure white. Like a ghost's eyes. You see none of his pupils. Scara also has a spike on the end of his tail.
Personality: Scara is a stubborn pokemon that doesn't try to have fun all the time. He is a serious working pokemon that will never take dieing as a choice in his life. He never say much, but he always obeys his boss, but NEVER takes orders from his partners or anybody else. Scara will try an destroy anything that is trying to kill him. He loves it when his boss sends him to go on missions to the Abyss, but takes his work VERY seriously. Scara doesn't like when people try to mess with him. He will try to kill anything thats hits him, attacks him, and trys to scare him.
History: Scara took care of himself when his parents died from the Silver Apex. He grew up in Cipher of the Faraway Hills until a small group of the Black Onyx came and killed everyone he loved, but himself.
Scara never wanted to leave the Faraway Hills, but when he found out he could join the Black Onyx because of his skill and special power. He was packed and ready to go. He made a promise that he would not betray his partners and follow the commands of his boss. Scara's partners are really his friends to him. When he's on missions with them they are nothing but his partners.

Re: (SU) The Trial of Juno RP - United in Arms
Name
Kavik
Species
Meowth
Alignment
Southern Tempest Alliance
Military Role
Ground
Power
This Meowth has the power of growing sharp claws in any part of its body, including increasing the amount of his claws getting more powerful. His strong claws are his only known power, and he is known to be slightly good in defense.
Distinguishing Marks
Kavik has a strange mark on his leg that is impossible to take off. It is not well seen, and is usually covered by something. Although the mark is very big, it is a very light mark.
Personality
Kavik has a very bashing personality, and is the type of person to attack for no good reason. He is a smart person, though tends to act dumb. He is not really the type of a Meowth, as he uses his powers for good things, not use them for the wrong reasons. Meowth acts like a human, and an adult, as he is not that smart to remember he is a Pokémon. He has a lot of reasons to do something wrong, and is known to make up good plans. Kavik is not much a people person, or a Pokémon person for that matter. He is very shy, and doesn’t like talking. He is one of the only people to treat him right, and is also a very selfish person. He doesn’t work well in groups, and likes to be alone. He is not into even making friends.
History
Kavik, unlike other people, had such a normal past. He was born under a family of Persian, in an unknown place. He managed to live a very good life, for being a kid who has no real friends and no brothers or sisters. Kavik was treated like a king with his family, and the way he decided to keep it. His family was known to be good fighters, except the lacking of Kavik being strong. They also saved a poor little baby Pichu, and was known to be great friends with it. That was the only proven friend that Kavik had stayed with. But not that long after Pichu was brought; it evolved to a Pikachu, and left Kavik’s family. By then, Meowth was a strong Pokémon, and didn’t need friends that much.
But then a big war happened, and the world had changed. Kavik had no more family by then, and was not the best fighter out there. After the war, he was all alone, and took his life around the world, with only a few things with him. He managed to live a fair life, in Blackbay, and lived to where he is today.
Notes: Blah. Nothing special. Just feel free to accept or decline.
