We had reached the tunnel some few hours later, and had been walking in it for at least another half hour. Obsidian and I were starting to tire. Not from all the walking, but the fact that we slid down every hill, steep cliffside amd mountain we came across. Yeah we were a bit of daredevils, but we didn't intend for all of that to happen at once. I was surprised that Obsidian, a Rhyhorn of all Pokemon would want to choose to come to Glacia City. He had to have gotten over his fear of water, which was a good thing, but I'd half expected him to say Auron Town. Nearing the end, we finally reached the city. The blue glistening water made a whole new experiance for newcomers and the view, besides totally being underwater was fantastic. Watching pods of Wailord go by was incredible to watch.

I walked into the Pokemon Centre with Obsidian beside me and I slumped down into a chair while he also slumped down on the floor next to me. I hung my head over the back of the chair, paying no attention to who was inside. Obsidian was new to my party so he wouldn't know anyone that I knew besides the rest of my current Pokemon.

"Okay, we are not going to do that again." I heaved. "Next time, you'll take a break in your Pokeball and we'll fly to the tunnel next time okay?"

"Grurrurh." He moaned in agreeance.

I liften my head up and saw an only too familiar person with a Sneasel on a bed that was being wheeled into another room. I wasn't worried about the Sneasel, only to what the eigth gym leader was doing here.

"Oh, Terra, what are you doing here?" I asked casually. "And what up with the Sneasel?"

Auron City: A big city where fire type pokemon favored. The famous racing track is here. Ponyta and Rapidash are betted on in this famous racing track. Civilians may use other racing material pokemon to race in this famous track if they so desire. The gym here uses fire types.

Wow... we have to beat fire types!!!! lets win a race! Hm I will choose...... well I HAVE....

I felt so worried for the poor Sneasel, looking at his cold body as he lay on the medical bed. I hope the sickness wasn't life threatening. I already had to witness one tragic death and I really didn't want to see another.

I looked down at my watch and it was 2:30 in the afternoon. Seemed longer, but I really didn't seem to care at the moment. I was getting kind of thirsty and I decided that I would go to the food stand. A hamburger sounded good along with a Poke'Soda. Tasty. Just as I was about to get up, I put my hand on Sneasel's chest.

"Good luck little man. Hope everything goes fine."

The nurse then looked at me and spoke.

"Mr. Nasuke, we'll contact you on your cellphone when the procedure is done."

"Okay ma'am."

I stood up out of my chair and just when I was about to start walking I heard something or someone.

"Oh, Terra, what are you doing here?" She looked at me casually. "And what up with the Sneasel?"

I looked to see that it was Itarai, the pokemon champ of Yirrah. I hadn't seen her in a while and I was happy to. She was one of my most loyal and trusted friends.

"It's been a while hasn't it? I'm here on council business. I have to inform all the other gym leaders about the event coming up in Roland City. Oh and the Sneasel. Well, I found in almost out cold when I was approaching the mountain side entrance to this city. It's really sick and needs medical attention. So what brings you here?"

I was so happy to see her again. It was also quite funny that people were trying to get her autograph and mine also. I waited for her reply.

IC: "It's been a while hasn't it? I'm here on council business. I have to inform all the other gym leaders about the event coming up in Roland City. Oh and the Sneasel. Well, I found in almost out cold when I was approaching the mountain side entrance to this city. It's really sick and needs medical attention. So what brings you here?"

Yeah, Terra and I were good friends, especially when it came to dragon Pokemon. I got a little competitive sometimes, well, okay I got really competitive, but that is beside the point. I only just remembered the event when Terra mentioned it.

"Oh the event? What event would that be...oh yeah. Wait..." I began. "Anyway, this is Obsidian, newest member of the family. He wanted to come here for training."

He gave a quiet growl ending with a cheerful smile.

"He says hes glad to meet you." I translated. "Anyway, you know I could find out what happened to that Sneasel. Well, just wait here, I'll be right back. Obsidian, stay with Terra."

I walked toward the desk, putting my ID card on the counter but out of looming peoples sight. The nurse at the counter looked at it, then realized that it was really the League champion infront of her.

"Do you mind if I go in for a second before the operation?" I asked.

The Nurse replied with a quick; "No Miss Doruku, I'm sure you understand the policies well enough."

I nodded then went to go catch up with the medical bed and the ill Sneasel. I came to a two-way hallway, and looked down to the left and saw no one there, then to the right and saw who I was looking for. I followed them into the room, coming in before anyone could start anything. Before the nurses could protest, I drew out my card and held it up in plain view. All thought comments were soon left. I walked over to the bed and looked at the Sneasel.

"Hey, can you tell me what happened?" I simply questioned. "Then we can better treat you."

It wearily looked at me, replying in a tired voice. I listened to every word as carefully as possible. He tried to explain in detail, but I stopped him.

"Okay, thats good enough, don't exert more of your strength just to try and get some words out." I interjected quietly.

I turned to the nurses, and repeated what he said. "He says he got a full shot of an attack from a Solrock, so it might be best if he were treated for burns first. I know you guys can handle the rest."

"Yes, thank you for your help."

I walked out of the room, back down the hall and into the lobby, rather pleased but feeling very sympathetic toward the Sneasel. Being a wild Pokemon wasn't easy, especially when Trainers were looking for other Pokemon to battle, especially now that the season had started up again.

"Well, I did my bit." I commented upon re-entry.

Obsidian was a powerful looking Ryhorn. It was kind of odd to me though that Obsidian decided to come to a city like this, seeing as it's weak against this type of stuff. Then again, Itarai was pokemon champ. I wouldn't question her methods of training. The Ryhorn gave me a growl and I thought it was about to attack me.

"He says hes glad to meet you." Anyway, you know I could find out what happened to that Sneasel. Well, just wait here, I'll be right back. Obsidian, stay with Terra."

She was known for that. This was a good time for her to check out the Sneasel I just got also. Ordering Obsidian to stay here with me was unpredictable, but it also gave me time to become friends with him.

"As you know, I'm Terra. Your trainer is a good friend of mine. So I hope we to can be friends."

Suddenly Obsidian let me pet him. I had a way for pokemon. That's just the type of person I was.

"You're different or maybe it was just Itarai's training. You actually don't care about the weather and on top of that, you don't care that we're in a city surrounded by the ocean?"

Obsidian just smiled and I could tell he really didn't care about the conditions. He was a tough cookie. Trainers would have to train a lot to take care of him. I smiled at Obsidian and I could tell he was happy.

"Hey Obsidian. Just between you and me, I kinda believe that I'm stronger than your trainer. But don't say anything. This will be our little secret."

Obsidian nodded. This was one tough and smart Ryhorn. He was a pretty cool pokemon.


"Well, I did my bit." Itarai said as she reentered the main room.

"Thanks a bunch Itarai. Obsidian is really cool. We became friends quickly."

Obsidian rubbed his head against my leg.

"I really don't feel that having a conversation in the middle of the Pokemon Center is cool. So let's go to the Underwater-Diner restaurant. There we could get food and talk. You agree?"

It looked as if Obsidian agreed and I decided that Obsidian should have a partner to play with. I pulled a pokeball of my belt and unleashed my Bagon.

"Hey pal. This is Itarai and Obisidian, your new friends. Go ahead and play with Obsidian."

I awaited Itarai's answer.

"Hm... Rin needs a rest... damned trainer... how dare he mock my Pokemon... I should have kicked him out... though the humiliation of defeat was sweeter."

I walked through the city of Glacia, ignoring all the comments I was given of being the gym leader and such of this precious city I lived in. I was even asked for a friggin' autograph by a couple of fangirls. Not surprisingly, I just walked past them. Having a reputation of doing that hasn't stopped those girls, I guess... I stopped infront of the Pokemon Center, starring at the doors for a moment before walking in, walking towards the counter and glancing to my left. I rose an eyebrow, turning to face those two familiar faces.

"Terra. Miss Itarai. Hello. Surprised to see you two here in Glacia."

I sat Rin's Pokeball down on the counter the instant Joy walked in, not needing to turn my head to know she was there. I turned my head slightly to look at Joy, a semi-concerned look on my face as I spoke.

"When you can, heal up Rin. Last battle left her quite damaged..."

I didn't say another word before walking towards Terra and Itarai, bowing my head in greeting. I glanced at a Ryhorn next to them, and a Bagon, raising an eyebrow lightly before looking back at the two.

"So... what exactly brings you two here? A date, perhaps?"

"Stupid machine... they couldn't have mad it harder to find, could they?"

I groaned as I passed my hand on the hard mountainside, searching for the usual machine that would allow me to enter into my brother's and my home city. I sighed, sitting down on the ground as I starred up at the sky above. Snowy. Just the way I liked it. I felt a small pat on my cheek, and I turned to see Hoshi giving me a "don't give up!" look. I smiled at it before standing up, sending a fist high in the air.

"You're right! I know we'll find it eventually! We just gotta keep searchin'! Woo!"

I quickly and happily ran up to the mountainside, once again feeling it. In seconds, I finally found it. The machine that granted me entrance to Glacia City. I smiled and took out my ID Card, inserting it into the machine. I waited for a few seconds before the ID Card came back out again. I quickly grabbed it and put it away, smiling as a door on the mountainside opened.

"Welcome to Glacia City, Sayuri Satomishin."

I walked inside, the door closing behind me. Hoshi looked at me before nodding, I nodding back before I began running towards the conveyor belts. I almost tripped a few times, true, but I managed to keep my footing. After a few, we finally reached the conveyor belts. I stepped on it, starring at the beautiful sea infront of me, Hoshi doing the same. All water Pokemon. Staryu, Seaking, Mantyke, Corsola, and so many others!

"Brother is so lucky he can stay here all the time... surrounded by all this beauty... I envy you, big brother! But at least I get more travel time! So hah!"

"Cleffa! Cleffa!"

The boy didn’t answer to my question. Maybe because he was too concerned about the Sneasel I almost killed, or maybe because he knew that was I who did that to the poor Pokémon. One thing was for sure: that boy was really concerned about the injured fellow, being his Pokémon or not.
I looked down at Phanpy who was getting some rest. Before we reach Glacia Town we spent hours walking throughout Yirrah Region: from Mountain City, to Glacia Town, were we found that Sneasel.
Perhaps I spent some large minutes, embraced in myself, because when I came back to the reality, Phanpy was in the floor, trying to call my attention.

“What happened?”, I asked, “What are you doing?”

Phanpy was jumping in the air, grabbing my trousers and trying to make me lift up. Then I realised what was happening: I looked at where the boy was and saw that he was now with a girl that seemed to me very familiar.

“You say that girl is the League Champ?”, I asked in a arrogant ton, lifting up and turning backs at my Pokémon, “We don’t need those guys, Phanpy! We defeated that Sneasel, and we became concerned for what we’ve done… But now we have to follow our path.”

Phanpy stopped acting like a hyperactive and looked at me shocked.

“That’s right, Phanpy! We are Gym Leaders, and we have job to do!”, I said, walking towards the door, “We don’t need that freak show, and concern to reach our objectives, do we?”

The Pokémon realized what I was saying, and why I was saying all that stuff. He started to walk, and chased me, as I walked towards the door, passing the boy and the girl.
When I passed them I thudded on the girl, almost sending her to the floor. I didn’t say sorry: I just fixed her eyes, and then turned backs to her, leaving the PokeCenter, and following my path, along with Phanpy.

IC:// "I'm just doing what I'm normally doing," Sakura said to the gym leader, "Regular survey checks, trainer checks, all that fun stuff."

Sakura looked around the inside. It was in a very good condition compared to some others that she had seen in other regions. The whole gym was as clean as you could get. The looked down the hallways and even the arena for battles.

When she returned she said, "It's in very good condition. Now, all I have to do is check your battling skills. Then, I'll be on my way."

Sakura pulled out a PokeBall from her pocket. She opened it and it contained Reibai her Espeon. "It's up to you how many Pokemon we will each battle," Sakura said evenly.

She didn't wait for Kitsuras reply as she walked toward the arena.

I turned and there was nother familiar face. It was the resident Gym Leader Yuu. Soon, the more of the league members that grouped up, the more attention it would bring.

"So... what exactly brings you two here? A date, perhaps?" Yuu added.

"No, were not." I answered quickly. "We just happened to meet up here thats all."

I would have said more but there was a sudden push on my back and I almost tripped over Obsidian. If he hadn't caught me in the process and pushed me back up onto my feet, that would've been another fall, and I would have fallen on Terra's Bagon as well. The guy who had the liberty of knocking me over looked right at me but stormed out of the Pokemon Centre with a Phanpy behind him. His face look all too familiar.

"Isn't that-wait. Wasn't that Arthur?" I asked. "Uh, nevermind, we'll discuss it on our way to the-wait...wheres Obsidian?"

I looked around the lobby, then out the window and Obsidian was outside, going after Arthur. The Rhyhorn was pretty protective, especially when it came to me and he wasn't one to tollerate disrespect. I ran out the door after the angry Pokemon.

"Obsidian, stop!" I cried.

Thankfully, he wasn't cloudy headed when he was angry and he did stop, but he was roaring at Arthur angrily, telling him off of how disrespectful he was and how he should apologize. If I never did spend the summer with my cousin Anabel, then it would all just be angry roars that had no meaning in them.

As I went out from the PokeCenter, I heard some roars and stomps, which seemed to be closer to me, at every step. I also heard Phanpy’s growl, which seemed like a warning, but I didn’t look behind, to see what was happening. I was just thinking where to go, now that I had to get out from Glacia Town.
When I looked behind, to figure out why was Phanpy so hyperactive, I saw something that I hadn’t see for a very long time: I was being chased by a powerful and territorial Rhyhorn. That reminded me, all the moments I spent with my rock-type Pokémon, and the times when I used t climb the Mountain, just to observe all Yirrah Region. I was having a long and deep flashback, when I heard a girl’s voice demanding Rhyhorn to stop.
Phanpy was again terrified, and he almost started to cry. I looked back, and saw the Rhyhorn really close to me, still roaring in some protective ton.

“If you can’t control that Pokémon, then put it where he belongs…”, I said, in a defending speech, “His Pokeball!”

I heard what Rhyhorn was roaring, and tried to remember what that meant. After all I spent almost 10 years, with rock-type Pokémon: I had to understand each one of their speeches.

“If I almost killed that Sneasel, and I didn’t apologize to him…”, I said, “Why should I apologize for a thud?”

Phanpy was hearing all the speech, and suddenly he remembered what I did after the battle with Sneasel: I kneed and I said some peaceful words. Why wasn’t I saying sorry, now?

“I know that you’re one of the most powerful Pokémon in this Region…”, I continued, “But you have to bare one thing in your mind” – At this moment I was looking deeply in the girls eyes – “If you have more power than the others, keep that power inside yourself! And the same goes to your trainer…”

I ended my speech, putting the hands in my pockets and turning backs coldly. I was definitely not in a good mood.

Arthur turned coldly away, obvious that he was in a bad mood. I would have down talked him for talking to Obsidian like that. He was in fact trying to apologize to the Phanpy for scaring the mind out of it as he had nothing bad meant towards it, but was still angry at Arthur and how his attitude needed a thourough adjustment. I patted his back and got him to stop drawing attention to himself. He looked up at me and tried to get me to do something, but I shook my head. I looked up and watched Arthur leave.

"If he weren't under control, you'd be flattened by now!" I called out to him."And...ah, theres no point. Giving him a even short talk down would set him off, but he'll get it later. Hes in a bad mood, his anger has already clouded his judgement and apparently his way of speaking."

Obsidian moaned saddly, explaining he didn't mean to frighten the Phanpy like he did. I already knew he didn't and patted his side.

"I know, you were just angry is all." I commented. "I know you didn't mean it towards Phanpy, Obsidian."

I was taken by surprise, yet I always longed for something like this to happen. I took out a pokeball, and I spoke, with a confident, yet nervous voice.
"We will use 3 pokemon each, I suppose. If thats alrgiht with you." I asked, enlarging my pokeball by tappin the white button in the middle. I walked backwards, to stand in my usual place in the battle arena.
"As always, the opponent is able to switch pokemon. And they usually allso go first." I say, spreading my legs apart in a battle stance. "Go Torkoal!" I say, throwing my pokemon. A torkoal appears, stamping her feet on the ground, ready and fired up for a battle.

"Im counting on you Torkoal. We're going against an Elite Four, so do you best!" I stand there, staring at Sakura with stern. I was trying to give a good expression, and in my opinion, i was doing so in a way I've probably never have before. I waited there, anticipating what move Sakura would excecute first.

Standing at my post, today happen to be rather exciting. There had been four egg hatches, ten eggs coming in. I stood at the counter as Old lady Gyen and Old Lady Gwen worked in the back waiting for more eggs. Spotting a passing trainer, a young one, I smiled.

" You're-you're!!" The kid shouted, yea I'm the toughest elite four member, I knew this line for a long time.I get that a lot, sometimes I'm called "Daycare Man" or "The Elite Breeder" yea weird nicknames but you would get used to it, I think Rai has it bad.

SPinning my pokebals on the counter, waiting for something to happen. A 'boom' echoed through the Daycare, I rushed back into the egg room. A mother Kingler was fighting with a Clefable, one using double edge the other using Dizzy Punch. I sent out Persian, and Slowking.

" Use Calm Mind, and Persian Hypnosis" I spoke with a gentle voice, As Slowking and Persian let a telekensis blast out, the mothers quickly fell asleep.

Luna smiled, something she did not do often. She walked into the gym. It looked like Fantina's gym with the wall torches and lifts, but also like Brawly's since you cannot see very well when you first start out-All black. The entire building was spooky. It even had cobwebs on the walls to freak female trainers out, with real Spinerak and Aridos. On every floor, there is a trainer waiting to battle you. On the sixth floor, you will reach Luna. Luna smiled as she used her own lift which was disguised in the wall to get to her floor. In an instant, her Oddly-Coloured Driftloon flew right up to her with the other pokemon. Luna got into meditate postition and counted her pokemon.

"Spirit Six, Spirit four, Spirit Five, Spirit Two, Spirit Three...Wait, where's Spirit One?" In an instant, the Haunter dashed up to her. "Great, that makes Six Spirits!"
Luna got into meditatintg position with her pokemon. The Gym anouncer Midnight, was reading a magazine. Luna looked at the title. "Naked and Sexy women" was the title. Midnight screamed when he saw her. "Misstress Luna!" he cried. "I thought i put that book away." Luna said crossly.

"Reibai, Psybeam, let's go!" Sakura said to Reibai. Reibai shot a very beautiful multicolored beam at Torkal, "That's it! Now, do Confusion on your Psybeam!" When Reibai did Confusion on the Psybeam, it turned into a multicolored ball; then the orb shot out many smaller beams until all of the original Psybeam power was gone.

'Time to anticipate,' Sakura thought. She waited patiently for Kitsura to order her Torkal to attack.
