Exclamation pokemon series finale(maybe)

I think pokemon is drawing to its end.
its been going on for 11 years now
and the sinnoh leage will probably be his last
tournament then he will probably reunite with
misty, may, max, brock and dawn and he'll
go to the world championship and win it.

its not like i want pokemon to end or something like
that but i dont see it going on after daw, i dont think
he'll start all over again, that would be about corny.
its just i dont see it going on like it is.
it probably has about 2 years at the most.
END.

peace

Nah, Pokemon will go strong for a long time. If anything, I see it as Mario. It's as popular, and look how long Mario has been going on? If anything, Pokemon is more into franchise so they'll appeal to children more than Mario, really, and why would they stop so abruptly? It would ruin their profits and wouldn't seem right, at all really, if they just abruptly stopped the anime.

possible, but i doubt it seriously, i mean the dp series has got a few years yet, and when it come to the end of the series then we will know if there a new series or not, but i dun see why it would be, but you never know with these things and it to early to assume that this series is the final series.

They need to keep Dawn around, she rules on the show! Please don't replace her.

The ratings are still strong in Japan, so I don't think they'll cancel it. Course I don't know what region they can come up with. They might push Diamond to 4 seasons though because currently, Ash still has 2 gym battles and Dawn just has 1 out of the 5 contest ribbons, and Team galactic has YET to appear! Plus Ash and Paul got to have more battles.

sorry about bringing this thread back, i havent had a chance to go on it for a while.

I'm not saying that they will cancel it out of no where
but every manga has to end some time and pokemon is
close to closing point.
it doesnt matter how high the ratings are it's just
the sagas getting a bit long running.
itl probably do like dbz
its over but its still selling games nonstop
and the dvds and movies.

No, I see no reason to compare Pokemon to Dragon Ball Z. They're nothing alike, and it isn't wise to compare Pokemon an anime/manga such as Inu Yasha, considering Pokemon originates from a video game, which eventually became the manga/anime/merchandise.

As long as the video games progress, the show will progress, whether they use spin-offs like PMD or not.

Plus sales on great games like Diamond and Pearl, Gold, Silver, Crystal, and Ruby and Sapphire/Emerald are the reasons Pokemon is still on. I'm still progressing along in the game, soon will make my Pearl journey next year after a long delay.

The ratings are still strong, and pokemon is still a big thing, sure coming up with new regions would last a long time, but they have yet to feature anything about orre or whatever the other one is, so there are still possibilities.

Pokemon has enough potential to go for a long while yet, unless Nintendo goes bankrupt, or the ratings drastically drop and they can't get the viewers back, then I'd say they could make the generations go on until... Well for a long while!

Even the old games still sell in shops around the world! Nintendo and Game Freak will have such damn good retirements :p

problem with that is, why would they bring in a new trainer when they basically just do the same thing with him then they are doing with ash, those someone to replace brock i would happily welcome but if they finish the plot with ash it a different story those it would be pretty boring seeing another ash develop inside a new character lmao

This could be it but I doubt it. They could create many ideas for new seasons. They still yet have to go to Fiore and Orre. I don't know about Holon [TCG Region] but they could make something out of that.

Honestly ever episode is the same thing repeated:

-Traviling
-Meet Girl
-Brock likes girl
-bad guys want to steal/hurt pokemon
-Ash and co. fight bad guys
-Walk and to the sunlight
-Repeat for next weeks episode excluding gym/contest deals

Gym episodes are also extremly similar
along with contests, they really need to mix up this series, it's to predictible.

The Pokemon Series Finale? That will not come anytime soon. It will take a few years to finish Sinnoh, and if the fifth generation doesn't end Pokemon (which I hope it won't), it won't end for time to come, meaning people can still fall in love with Pokemon, and then hate it. But the thing is, there are some people that fall in love with it, and then love it to the grave. No, I haven't met anyone like that, but I hope it happens that way to me. Yeah, I've always been made fun of because I like Pokemon. I have proudly delcared that I do in my school, and even though people treat me differently because I do, doesn't mean we're babies. You don't have to be a baby to like Pokemon... Which is why they should make a series for adults, and another for young adults, but then, there would be mass chaos, and Pokemon isn't really meant to have sexual references or anything like that... My head hurts. XD

Anyways, back on topic, the finale will NOT come soon, I can guarantee it.

Heh Heh, I wish the show end but I highly doubt it. The reason the show still continues as even though old fans of the shows gets tired of the filler quality the new generation of kids will move in and fill in the gap of the old viewers that have left. I wish that the creators would start over with a clean slate, but I doubt that shall be the case. I wont expect the show to go on forever but instead still continue for quite some time.
