Question about shiny pokemon

I have always had this question, ok so when i first started my diamond game i got a shiny geodude.But the other 2-4 times i've played i haven't seen any.Can you get/see a shiny pokemon no matter how much times you have played your game?

Finding a shiny pokemon is like a one and 8000 something chance. Unless you use the radar trick thing, don't expect to find more than 1 or 3 random shinies during the entire time you play.

There's always that tiny chance, but I doubt it'll happen very often unless you have Godly powers.

Yes there is the chance to get shiny no matter how many times you replay your game. TheEvilDookie came very close with the percentage thing the actual percentage to get a shiny is 1/8192 pokemon. But then just so you know being shiny doesn't give that pokemon any benefits in battling whatsoever it's just to make other people envious lol.

the radar trick is where you use the pokemon radar to scope out one certain pokemon and you keep on chaining till you get a shiny or you are stopped by another pokemon and a hint you may need to get past 30 of the same pokemon to find a shiny

or you can just go to a place where you find the one type of pokemon over and over again like i did while EV training my rydon with deff i found a shiny geodude
and i have a question when you do have a shiny and it evoles dose it stay shiny??

yes it does stay shiny when it evolves.

The odds of a wild Pokemon that will be shiny is 1 out of 655361, or something like that in G/S/C. They might have changed, but chaining can cap it to 1 in 200 or something. But finding a shiny is COMPLETELY random unless you chain with the pokeradar.

Yes you can. They are just extremely rare if you don't chain.
