They will end up getting half the ev points eg you fight a chancy and you switch out pokemon, afterwards you faint chancy you would recive 1 ev point for 1 hp for boths of the pokemon that participated in the battle.

Thats what I was told a while ago and after investigarting it, it seems to be the case.

Well that aint half bad, cuz i am training a lvl 1 pokemon and i dont wanna manually train it so i'll just beat lvl 60 pokemon until it is at a high enough level to beat high level pokemon.

Actually both Pokemon get the full amount. So if you are fighting a Machamp both Pokemon get 3 evs.

They get the full amount of EVs with any added bonuses such as PokeRus or the Power items. So if I switched out of my Weavile that had PokeRus and defeated a Machamp with a Medicham, then Weavile would get 6 Attack EVs.

He didn't come to that conclusion that's how the game works. Pokerus doubles the EV points gained just like Macho Brace. The exp points are halved when you switch out but both/or more pokemon who got in the particular battle still get the same amount of EVs.

I was pointing it out just for Weavile. Of course Medicham would get 3 EVs as well, I just didn't included him as well
