It doesn’t matter what I do.
It doesn’t matter how much I try.
Eventually in time, I came to realize,
That you were never mine.

You never were nor will you be.
You’ll never fill that space in me.
My icy heart might never feel warmth again,
But I keep tryin’ and tryin’.

You won’t take me serious, nor answer my calls.
If I’m in need, would you be there? Don’t think so.
Oh, the pain. Oh, the sorrow. It doesn’t matter though.
I know I’ll try again tomorrow.

Never mine, yet never giving up.
Can’t get over you, just can’t stop.
Will it ever end? Will it ever mend?
Even if it does, I’ll be back. Again and again.

The best taste ever...
My favourite thing to do,
Is to be standing here,
Getting kissed by you.

As soft as silk, as good as love,
These showers of affection,
Came from above.
Turned out I was in luck.

I got to experience it, got to know it.
I became addicted.
I was hooked, and didn’t know what to do.
Oh, why must I be so in love with you?

Tried to let go, and failed.
Why are you so wonderful?
Were you blessed by the Gods?
Was it time for the perfect being?

Having said this, and having done that,
Having felt this bliss…
One more time, I have to try,
And receive once again…

Do you think this is a game?
Not to be taken seriously?
Well it’s not.
It’s the real thing.

You may have won
Many hearts before,
But now it’s done,
You’ve hearts galore.

You’re the queen of love,
Queen of affection.
You’re what triggered,
My resurrection.

You brought me from the dark,
Right into the light.
Yet it might have been a bit too bright,
For I can’t see things clear anymore.

You might have taken my heart from me,
With everything that makes you be.
You shattered and broke it into little parts,
But that’s alright…

For you’re the queen of hearts.

Tears of Pearls

Sweet love has come and gone,
Missed them all,
And then a thought crossed my mind:
It was too late to give you a call.

It felt so good, and then so wrong,
I knew it was that time again.
I turned around, and there you were:
In the arms of another man.

I have lost my heart to several girls,
And once again come these tears of pearls.
Our time is done and through,
Why did I fall in love with you?

It hurts like hell,
This thing you’ve done,
I’ve suffered enough,
Can’t you tell?

But now it’s over, and I’m over you.
No more tears to cry, no matter how hard you try.
Don’t want you back, not in a million years.
Now it’s your turn…

To shed some pearly tears.

Unending Ocean of Love

I can’t begin to describe,
These amazing feelings.
They go on for miles on end,
Be prepared, for it’s my love that I send.

Pools of eternal love,
Showers of friendship,
Storms of affection,
With nowhere to go but forwards.

Strong as steel,
Pure as Heaven,
This is all for real,
And will always last.

We have no limits or sense of time,
As long as I can call you mine.
This just can’t be denied,
Even if it has been tried.

An unending ocean of love,
Is the best way to call it.
I just hope it doesn’t drain
And turn into a bottomless pit…

For there’d be no way out of it.

Obsessed with Love

At first it was a wonderful feeling,
Then turned out it did me pain.
It made me sad at times,
And then I learned it could be all these things.

True love can be felt and sensed,
And will never fade completely.
It can tear a person apart, or put them back together.
One thing is certain: love is forever.

Things will be done that don’t really fit you.
Anything will be said to prove your love is true.
A mighty obsession, a step from aggression.
The line is thin.

But no matter what happens,
No matter what’s said,
It will always end up right,
Otherwise you picked the wrong fight.

Now back to reality, your time will come.
Everyone gets a shot. Take it.
Take the step, take a breath.
It’s close to the surface now…

Now go and be happy.

Reflections

When you look in the mirror,
What do you see?
Do you see yourself?
Or someone you hope to be?

A person that’s scared,
Or one that’s brave.
Perhaps a criminal,
Or one that can change the world.

A reflection can say a thousand words,
But sometimes says none.
It’s all about the person really.
In time, you’ll find out.

A reflection can also change someone.
A glimpse of yourself can do the trick.
No matter who you are, or what you do,
A reflection can change everything about you.

So when in doubt,
Take a look at yourself.
You might find it helps,
But no matter what you think…

A reflection is always there.

Far Away

Distance should make no difference
When it comes to feelings.
It’s a simple barrier.
And barriers can be overcome.

Distance can’t stop feelings
From being formed,
Nor stop them from growing.
Far away, but still so close.

We don’t choose for this to happen,
It just does.
The heart senses only people,
Not what’s between them.

By foot, car, train or plane,
It’s all possible.
I’ll be there by your side,
Even if it takes me the rest of my life.

I’ll be around someday,
So don’t stop waiting.
I’ll find a way,
No matter the cost…

Reason Behind the Answer

You asked me a question.
I gave you an answer.
You asked me why.
I gave you a reason.

Maybe because you didn’t return the feelings.
Maybe because you couldn’t be true to me.
Or maybe because I had enough.
It was hard to choose just one.

You countered that reason with a plea.
I asked why you suddenly cared for me.
It was always there, you said.
I laughed, turned, and went to bed.

And there I lay,
Cold and alone.
And you wondered why,
Back at home.

And then we both knew,
It was both our fault.
It was always ourselves,
And never the other…

But now it’s too late, and we’re with another lover.

This is number ten,
Right after nine.
No one can take this from me,
This will always be mine.

The previous ones came from the heart,
Right from the absolute start.
All were true,
And so out of the blue.

Just like this one,
I write before I think.
Is that good?
Or a mistake?

Reasons behind these are obvious,
And share the same topic.
Well, almost all of them.
With the exception of one.

But if you look closer,
You’ll realize they do seem the same,
But in different writing.
And I’m at the end again…

As Time Moves On

Events occur and end,
Throughout the course of time,
And can be prevented,
But can they be stopped?

We’ve watched the world fall apart
Due to man’s actions.
Crushed, broken and dying,
We’ve brought upon us the end.

Take a moment to think
Before you act.
What effect will it have?
Damage check.

In this day and age
It’s still possible.
But will anyone do anything?
Not from what I’ve seen.

And as time moves on,
As the clock keeps ticking,
Lives are taken and other changed forever.
Help to prevent further damage…

Just to put your mind at ease,
I promise with all my heart,
That I’ll never leave your side.
Take a deep breath now.

What’s been done in the past,
Can’t be changed,
But can be explained,
And more important, forgiven.

Long nights, silent hearts,
Is what it used to be.
I promised to fix it,
And you promised that back to me.

We worked hard,
We took it easy,
And eventually succeeded.
With the result of us breaking.

I came back,
You fled the scene.
You told me to stay away,
So I ended it…

To put your mind at ease once again.

You won’t let me try.
All you do is push me away.

We met not too long ago,
And already it feels like an eternity.
Will you allow me to pursue this chance?
Probably not.

So secretive and still so open.
So mysterious and still so predictable.
So beautiful and intelligent.
So perfect.

A moment with you would be great.
An hour with you would be bliss.
A lifetime with you would be Heaven.
A life without you would be Hell.

None of this will happen though.
None of this will come true.
I’ll keep trying though.
Giving up isn’t something I do well…

Nor is denying how easy in love with you I fell.
