All right, he's dead! Two drops. A claw, and a bow tie. So we have 9 in total. I got 3 blankets and his 3rd journal, too.

That's pretty sweet. Let's split the loot between the two of us then (mainly because there's only two of us anyway).

As usual, outfits for our specific classes has been sent. :3

So what's your first pick, Poring?
I'm thinking for me I'd want to grab the bow tie myself...

The britches will complete my Ol' Scratch outfit, so that would be nice. Yeah, you can have all the Hodgman stuff.

Edit: So some guy perma-unlocked Bad Moon with a 100% Black Cat run. But how would that work? Like you said, one would have to spend at least one adventure to get the hatchling...

Can't a person go from one Bad Moon to Bad Moon again after freeing Ralph?
For two BM's in a row...

Yeah, but if you do a run with another sign, you'll have to do another lead-in with no clovers.

How does Bad Moon get selected? Is it a choice offered by After-After-Life Al only through Hardcore NS victory and Ralph freedom?

Also, if I bounce between HC and casual runs, will I lose my perma-skills or be able to do a few HC, a few casual, now and then adding to the respective perma-skill list under each difficulty?

It's a moon sign, like Marmot or Vole or whatever, so it is selected in After-After-Life Al's. The lead-in just has to be Hardcore and no clovers used.

That's a good idea if you don't want to always be in Hardcore. If you swap between HC and casual every run, then you'll still keep all your HC permed skills. But in casual, you don't get to perm any skills. You have to be in a softcore (normal) run.

Oh, on the info on the 100% black cat runs: the game counts only combat adventures. So as long as you have the black cat during a combat adventure, it counts. "no familiar" is a category, which is why 100% means black cat for every combat adventure.

Softcore has a different way of perming skills. Though how it works I'm not sure. :3

Next pick, Poring?

Oh, I see. I'll take the pelt if that's alright, since I already have a piece of that outfit.

Cool, thanks. I'm fine with any of them now... I guess I'll take the muscle shirt, just because it seems cooler. <_<

Nice.

So, I'm almost level 30. Once I get that trophy, it's time to ascend...

Normal Permed skills
HC permed skills

Are these completely different game mechanics? Do some skills, though permable, need certain life progress to use (level, MP count, stat count)?

Normal permed skills - Can be used in softcore (normal) runs and casual runs. Cannot be used in Hardcore and Bad Moon.

Hardcore permed skills - Can be used in all runs except Bad Moon. If you Hardcore perm a skill that you have Softcore permed, then it just becomes HC permanent.

There are no limits on skils; you just need to have the minimum amount of MP to use that skill.
