What is The Destination, and their goals?
The goal of The Destination is not to always come out on top, and is not to always be the best. The real goal of The Destination is to learn something along the way, and by learning with every Brawl you participate in, not only will you come out on top, and become the best you can be, but you will do all of this on your own, and before anyone else does.
The goal of The Destination is not to come out on top, or to be the best, it is to allow you to learn from your fights, win or lose, and you will always come out on top.
We could have named the clan, "Rivalry", "Beginnings" or anything else along that path, but that would show a negative approach towards not only our clan, but any other Super Smash Bros. Brawl Clan out there. We picked The Destination, because no matter what you do, no matter where you are, if you pick your Destination, and you stick with your decision, you will eventually get there. No matter what form that destination is in.
So all in all, The Destination is what we all try to reach, win or lose, draw or not, The Destination is here for the members to learn, become better, and reach
their Destination as well.
The Destination's Limits
There are no limits to what you can do in The Destination, if you want to use a specific character all of the time, so be it, if you want to test every now and then against our other members, you can do that too. However, we strongly encourage our members to experiment with the many fighters the makers of Super Smash Bros. Brawl has given us, this way, not only will the members never feel limited, but it gains skill, if you are good with fast characters, why not try a slow character, like Gannondorf, or King Dedede for once? Maybe you will become better with the faster characters, like Sonic or Sheik, or maybe you'll grow to like the slow characters too! Then you will have a lot more variety when you're against the clock, trying to choose your characters.
Storyline
"B-b-b-b-b-beep-beep" The cackling radio signaled as Fox, a rather clever member of the star fleet was awaiting a distress call from his brethren, Falco, a royal blue falcon who was abducted by another clan for questioning. Still, no sign from him, or any of the other members of Fox's clan. He had been in the same sector on the same planet, on the same deserted island for the past 6 weeks, awaiting any signs of other living clan members.
Fox sat still, awaiting the response, quietly, motionlessly, exhausted from his hike to the icy peak, where he assumed would give him the best signal, even if they
were a galaxy apart.
"...." Fox glared at his cold, luminescent radio, waiting for something..anything would do! Just a whisper, an outside conversation, anything that could help him and his star fleet all be united safely.
"GAH!" Fox yelled, slamming his radio against the dry, cold ice that he had been sitting on for the past hour, waiting for a response that obviously won't show up.
It was getting colder, and it would be a long hike back to his crashed starship.
"I better get a move on," Fox exclaimed, hoisting himself above the slippery ice high enough to get a sense of direction, and began to decent south.
"B-b-b-b-beeep!" The radio began to make progress as Fox was moving towards the ocean. Could this be the chance Fox has been waiting for?!
Fox began to dart towards the beach, being sure not to lose the screechy beeping noise coming from his radio.
"B-b-beep-b-bepbep"
Soon the shrubbery turned into trees, and the standalone trees became wads of trees, and those little wads of trees soon became larger, and soon the shrubbery had evolved into a thick, dark, moist forest.
Fox's running soon slowed to a quick-paced walk, as he reached out his paw and flicked on his wristlight.
Searching around the dark, silent forest with his small yellow light, he saw nothing but crowded bushes and thick thorns.
Not a creature stirred, not a cricket, not an ant. The forest was entirely silent, all except the quick "thuds" of Fox's feet hitting the mushy overgrowth beneath, and the faint "beep"ing of his radio, signaling that he was on the right path.
"CLINK!" Fox stumbled for his balance as his foot had kicked something large and solid.
A trophy! A large one at that, and of a monkey?
Fox looked around, and reached for the trophy, only for it to come alive in front of his very eyes!
The chimp shot up onto two legs, and gazed at Fox, its beaming red eyes were enough to light up Fox's path, all on their own.
"Ugh!" It groaned, as it beat its chest and yelled into the jungle.
All of a sudden, a tree caught on fire, blazing red, burning hot. Making room for a peak of sunlight to seep through.
"Whoooom" A sharp, loud whirl of wind swept through the forest.
Fox knew that sound anywhere, a starship! It crashed into the back of the forest, revealing not one, but two silhouettes!
The two figures walked out of the burning flames as if they were invincible, both not even flinching at the searing flames.
Falco and Samus!
The chimp lunged towards Fox, launching a punch against the "small in size" member of the star fleet. Sending him toppling towards the soft, moldy ground.
Two other silhouettes appeared from the shadows, a smaller monkey, and a taller, blue brawler, glowing with an even bluer aura.
Both took their battle positions behind the giant ape, and Falco and Samus began to charge their guns behind Fox.
All of the fighters began to go at it, showing no mercy.
"Yeah, Slippy, we're gunna need reinforcements, send everyone you've got," Falco called into Slippy, a faithful, slimy emerald green toad aboard the mothership.
"Copy that." The frog replied.
The ape looked at the character with the blue aura, signaling the same
command Falco gave slippy. The one with the blue aura hovered into the moist air, and let loose a sharp war cry, as ten, maybe fifteen more silhouettes arose from the shadows, all bearing different characteristics and weapons.
The large mothership hovered down, blowing away the trees behind Fox's trio, revealing the foggy, but bright sky above.
The dock's bridge began to open, revealing a bundle of other silhouettes slowly walking down the steps. Glowing fists, pokeballs, even frying pans in hand, all ready to fight.
The war was on.
