Which starter type do you usually go for?
In the games, which type do you usually choose as your starter?
Grass, Fire, or Water?

On the first file for all of my games, I chose the water starter. :O

I usually go for Fire types, don't know why. :O I almost always go with Charmander in R/B/Y, Cyndaquil in G/S/C, and Chimchar in D/P. R/S/E seems to be the only Gen where I almost never go Fire.

But usually Fire or Water, which is why I was so disappointed when Chimchar was the fire starter in D/P. (not a really cute/cool looking Pokemon IMO)

It really depends. I usually go for my favourite, which varies through type. In Kanto, I went for Charmander, because how could I not go for my favourite pokemon? I never really got to play Johto, but if I did, I'd either get Totodile or Chikorita. I Hpenn, I chose Torchic and Mudkip, and in Sinnoh, I got Piplup, but I wish I got Tutwig.=(

It depends. For Kanto I went for Charmander, Johto I went for Chikorita (Meganium for the win =p), Hoenn I got Treecko I believe (It turned out sucky, I should have used Torchic) and for Sinnoh I got Piplup, which ended out a great choice. :D I have the other two starters anyway, including the Charizard. :)

Always Grass, except for Johto, because Meganium sucks. It's been my thing ever since Blue version.
I chose Piplup in Diamond to try something new, but I think Turtwig was the better choice.
