Living Pokedex

Have any of you guys ever completed a living Pokedex? A living Pokedex is when you actually own every single Pokemon (each evolutionary stage), not just have them down as "captured" in the dex.

I think I am going to try and do one in White 2 once I finish the main story. I've never even completed the Pokedex since the Kanto dex in FireRed, so this will be a nice challenge to try and get all 649 Pokemon on one game at one time.

I've never completed the Pokedex period much less this. Though I'm hoping to do that when I get White 2.

Yep, I did it for Johto! But then I started a new game and only kept the evolutions/legends/non-evolvers. O:

Yep, I believe the box limit is 720!

I'm doing a living Pokedex!
After I'm done it, I'm gonna do a Unown dex, then I'm planning on doing a living Pokedex for both genders.
Maybe we can help each other out with out living dexes :)

Awesome! Wow both genders would be hard. Are you going to do it on multiple games since all the Pokemon wouldn't fit? I'm not sure if I should put multiple forms into my living dex either, like Basculin and Sawsbuck...

I might try it in Black 2, just bought it a couple days ago. It'd definitely be quite the challenge. Only problem is that all my other Pokemon games are back home, and there are quite a lot I still need to buy ;_;

I've only did it once, waaaaaaaay back in Red version. not FireRed, Red.

Had no idea i completed the pokedex and randomly went up into Celadon and the designer tells me i completed the dex and showed me my award.

ran back to my PC and checked and found out i had, indeed, every single pokemon stored in my boxes....

Turned out my friends were using my Red version to store their pokemon while they started a new game.
