Default My Hand-Drawn Fakemon

I've been drawing fakemon since Red and Blue came out all those years ago. Looking back, they were all pretty crappy. But I was like 7, 'k? Anyway, I've got a bunch of hand-drawn images I'd like to share now that I've figured out how to use the magical device known as the SCANNER. :P

Many of my hand-drawn Pokemon are going to be used in a fan game you can find here. The problem is, I'm not a great spriter when it comes to MS Paint, and if any of you amazing spriters out there would like to help out, that would be amazing, and you can PM them to myself or malucifer. Do not post here if you can help, PM one of us.

Anyway, look and enjoy.

Mirespa
Element: Water/Psychic
Mirespa is known for inhabiting barren wells and causing them to be filled with pure water. Hence its name partly derived from 'miracle.'

Wispecs
Element: Ghost
Wispecs vanishes into invisibility and spies on people through their windows.

Forite and Spriad
Element: Grass/Ghost
The Vassal Pokemon inhabit forests and act as vassals for the souls of dead trees, which they release into new trees when they begin to grow.

Added May 15, 2008

Bobbarmy
Element: Normal
I'm not sure whether the proper term is police man or soldier, but I think it's pretty obvious what Bobbarmy is based off of. That thing on its head is a bayonet, btw.

Lumbulb and Spectrulb
Element: Normal
I debated about whether these should be Normal or Electric, but I decided that the focus should be on light rather than electric energy.
It's hard to tell from the drawings, but these Pokemon both have bulbs of light on their bottoms (and the one on the left has little lights on its body too).

Scenpout
Element: Fire/Psychic
Scenpout has pouches of enticingly scented lava in its head. When it gets angry, it spews this substance all over the place, but in general it is simply used to cloud the minds of its opponents (which is where the Psychic attribute comes in).

Added May 24, 2008

Amptis
Element: Bug/Electric
Amptis has wings, but they beat at such supersonic speeds that they're impossible to see.

Titillar, Titapede, Millanium
Elements: Bug, Bug/Steel, Bug/Steel
Titillar has a metal plate on the top of its head, but it is not very developed.
Titapede's body is cased by a normal exoskeleton and a metal outer layer on the top two-thirds of each segment.
Millanium's exoskeleton is made entirely of, you guessed it, titanium.

Unnamed
Element: Fire
I seriously can't think of anything to call this. Probably one of my more unoriginal fakemon, but I luffs it anyway.

That's all for now, but I'll have plenty more shortly. And please, help malucifer and myself out if you can turn these pictures into sprite art. More information can be found here.

So, constructive criticism, anyone?

I can probably take some grading requests now. But don't all rush me at once. :/

Adorable?!! That's not what I was going for! :)

I'll take 'original' though.

As to the size, I find that when I draw Pokemon much larger than this, there's way too much empty space. On top of that, when I draw a fakemon, I always include and attack list and a bunch of other information about it (I've been doing it the same way for seven or eight years; the sprites just didn't look this good :P). So drawing much bigger means I don't have space for all that fun stuff.

By the way, I added a few more to the first post.

And thanks for the comment, Tombi.

Adorable is generally a good thing. And the new links should be working now.

Wow. I never looked at it that way before...

And I'm still not sure where all this cuteness is coming from, though, I guess cuteness is in the eye of the beholder... Or however that saying goes. lol. Don't worry, I've got some that just burst with cuteness. I just have to find them first. Ha.
