Someone clipped together all the new riffs/song excerpts/ect together.

Once again, I think the instruments are great but the lyrics ******* ruin it..

Hopefully they fix the drumming in their new album. It sucked in St. Anger.

It came close to being as bad as the drumming on Bathory's Octagon.

First order of conversation;

Any new albums anyone is looking forward to?
My Dying Bride

I desperately need some new material from them, listening to the And Justice for All album is getting stale. I've been doing that **** ever since ReLoad.

Lars Ulrich said that it sounds like albums from "the decade which starts with an eight."

I hope that we can trust Lars...
I hate to kill your hope, but I predict sodomy and crying for respectable Metallica fans such as yourself.

The best experimenting I've ever heard on the bass guitar.

I don't know-- it's hard for drumming to be as bad as what Octagon's was.

That's the main idea, sir. What amazes me is the people that love St. Anger.

I did at first, back when I used to listen to crap like Korn and Limp Bizkit. Then I found out what real metal was supposed to sound like. =P

Yeah, I listened to a lot of nu-metal crap back in middle school, then ditched that and started listening to mostly Neue Deutsche Härte when I entered high school. I started getting into "extreme metal" like last year. I still dig the NDH though.

Calling KoRn crap is a matter of opinion. They're almost more Hard Rock now; they've gone quite experimental. But I think we can all agree that Limp Bizkit is crap. But sometimes, you just have a need to sing along to "Hot Dog" or "Full Nelson" or "Livin' It Up" just for laughs.

NDH is who BTW?

Ha! Even the Black Metal bands who try to achieve crap quality don't sound that bad.

The whole damn world, except for a tiny percentage, can say Limp Shitstick is crap.

Neue Deutsche Härte is a genre. :\

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neue_Deutsche_H%C3%A4rte

And not Metal. And therefore has no point for conversation here.

It depends. Some NDH bands, such as Silber or Dementi, lean towards alternative rock with keyboards. Other bands, like Stahlhammer, Rammstein, or early Oomph! are classified as industrial metal by some. Then there are bands like Tanzwut and Eisbrecher who are heavily influenced by EBM and techno. Most all NDH bands sing in the German language.

Schweisser is considered NDH because of their origin, but the Metal Archives say they are (were) thrash/groove, with their later stuff leaning more towards alternative rock. I don't know what single genre you can put them under, but they're awesome.

Oh yeah, I checked out some Burzum on YouTube today. It was the most annoying thing I've ever heard.
