What would you do with the plot? It's a good outline but there's no real conflicfueling it.

Eh, why would friends let a silly argument like that divide them? It's like arguing with your friend over a battle between Dr. Doom and Batman, and becoming bitter rivals because you disagree.

What if Kyogre and Groudon used their ideas against them and made them feel more extremely about it.

Yeah... I don't think so.

Remember, Archie and Maxie created Teams Magma and Aqua because they believe their cause is the right thing to do. If they were good friends when they were younger, and they got in an argument, the nature of young kids would make the hard feelings split up in a matter of days (or maybe a week). They wouldn't carry a grudge into adulthood for something simple and childish like that - and besides, the funding required to form a Team must be enormous. Would both of them really spend that much just to rub something in the other's face? They're both determined to make the world a better place, and using the 'Legendaries did it' card won't work either. I don't recall Groudon or Kyogre ever possessing the power of mind control.

I agree with Giratina in the part about having a grudge with each other till adulthood, many kids get angry with theyre friends but they forget about that in little time. About the funds to make the Teams and the bases they could have gotten the funds if they got a money heritage or something like that.

They could have met and argue about what would be good for the world but arguing really dont make grudges with people. As for the mind control, Kyogre and Groudon can only control the person that has his orb if they are weak minded just like in the manga.
