Paul & Silver Similarities

Well, I was recently reading some articles on Bulbapedia, regarding Giovanni and his Relationship with Ash. I followed some links and got to Paul. It would seem Paul is incredibly similar to Silver. Not only personality wise, but their Sugimori art poses are the same.





Okay, Pauls picture is bigger, but these are the ones used in the Bulbapedia article.

On further reading it became apparent that Paul has similarities with Gary.
-Both have fully evolved Tortoise starter Pokémon, Blastiose & Torterra respectively
-Both have Electabuzz family 'mons
-Both have Magmars
-Both treat Ash disrespectively

I'd love to see them have a double battle against Ash.

Well, It'd only make since for them to double battle if someone like Lucas, Gold, or Brendan fought alongside Ash. Of course, I only know that Lucas has been in the anime, and I'm not even sure on that front.

Ok, umm, yes I did. I put Gold on the list of the characters to fight with Ash because hes the protagonist to Silver. I listed only protagonists. Why are you so argumentative?

So you're comparing Paul with Gary too? Gary treats Ash well in the anime now, btw.
