-08/06/03-

Pokemon Heroes had a limited and short stay in the theaters, but soon you can catch Pokemon Heroes on DVD/VHS. Pokemon Heroes for DVD/VHS will be released on December 16, 2003. It might be a good idea for a holiday gift, to give or receive. The items, both DVD and VHS, can be preordered at Amazon.com currently.

The Pokemon Heroes movie features the legendary sibling Pokemon: Latias and Latios. Though film critics aren’t exactly fond with Pokemon, since it’s really hard to catch on with the movies if they don’t watch the TV series. Nevertheless, Pokemon Heroes has received surprisingly better reviews than before. Many say the improved animation and a better plot is the reason they think this is the best Pokemon movie of the bunch.

If you weren’t able to catch Pokemon Heroes in theaters because of the limited release, you’ll be able to catch it on DVD/VHS soon! Once again, the release date is set for December 16th.

"Pokemon Plush Toy Day" at Yankees Game!

-08/01/03-

It will be “Pokemon Plush Toy Day” at Yankee Stadium, for the game on August 9th at 1:05 PM (a Saturday). The first 14,000 fans under the age of 14, will receive a free Pokemon plush toy, there will be several different Pokemon plush toys you can get. Not surprisingly, this is sponsored by the Pokemon Center NY store.

The August 9th game will be against the Seattle Mariners. The official Pokemon website made a good point saying popular Japanese player Yankee’s Hideki Matsui will be at the game, just like the another popular sensation in Japan, Pokemon. But let’s not forget about the Mariners’ Ichiro Suzuki, who was also a popular baseball player in Japan, and doing very well in MLB. Two great Japanese players facing off, with Pokemon Plush Toy Day at the game. A perfect fit.
