Main Page Changed Yet Again! - 12/29/01 The font size has been changed to a bit more larger. The hits counter is now moved to the bottom of the page. The main page should load a bit more faster, espicially those connecting to the internet though dial up modems. Many pages in the Gold/Silver section has been edited, fixes include spelling errors and links, some pages were redone. If you have a TCG deck, you may want to send a deck to our Deck Mechanic, Nicholas Foster. He will review your deck, tell you how to fix your deck so it can be even better. Nicholas placed in the top 15 of the West Super Trainer Showdown 2001. Having experience in the field, he will definitely have some great suggestions for your deck. Just go to the Deck Garage, the link is found on the main page... Website Changed Around a Bit! - 12/22/01 The Contact Info that used to be on the main page itself has been moved to a seperate page. You can get there by clicking on the link Contact Info on the main page. The great addition to the site, Strategy Garage, is doing very well with many strategy articles concerning Pokemon TCG. Some more sections are being deleted, but again, nothing major is going away. The Tic-Tac-Toe page is history, as well as Kurt Handley's Page (Sadly, Kurt doesn't have the time to continue his work). Kurt, an all-star at the Pokemon Gameboy Game, is well known for his acheivement of coming in 2nd in the nationals tournament in 2000, only behind one of the master minds of the game, Ian Garvey. Well, another all-star has come to replace an all-star. This time, from the TCG world. Nicholas Foster will be helping any visitors having problems with their TCG deck. Just go to the Deck Garage section, to find his email and send your deck list to him. He will then help you to make it better. Some deck fixes will be posted at the Deck Garage, but everyone should get an email response. Send your decks in... Alright! 90,000 Hits! - 12/07/01 Well, we did it. This site got 90,000 hits on 12/04/01. Entering the year 2002, Pokemon Elite 2000 will be on its way gathering 100,000 hits! Can you believe that? When I started this site, I never even thought of the possibility of the 100,000 mark. Soon its going to be reality. However, seeing how popular my site has become, I have new goals and more determined than ever to keep on this ongoing project to make this site even better. On to updates, a lot of pages has been updated so that it will load a bit faster (about 30 pages has been edited so far). A little rearranging of links on the main page has been made. Also, some more pages were removed (nothing big, just some pages that were not used much, you probably wouldn't even notice). The opening of the Strategy Garage section is doing great, many people have visited already. If you haven't, you should check it out... New Strategy Garage and More! - 12/01/01 Whew... a lots of things have been updated/added. First off, a new section is created, the Strategy Garage section can be found at the main page under the special column. There you can find strategy articles to various Pokemon games. All the price guides for TCG has been moved to a single section, Price Guides. Two new price guides has been added to the Price Guides, the Neo Discovery and Southern Islands. Also, all the links are moved to the Pokemon Links page. Some pages were removed. Nothing important was removed, just some pages that were rarely accessed were removed. All the fan fiction has been removed, because I just don't have the time to update the fan fiction, which also gives me more time to work on other areas. Some pages in the Gold/Silver section has been redone. If you visited some of the pages in there before this update, you maybe have noticed some pages contents were displayed in text boxes, but now its all layed out in plain text, which most visitors prefered. Expect more updates to come soon... The Webmaster is back! - 11/06/01 Michael Jordan is back! ... Well, so am I. I haven't been able to update recently due to the limited amount of free time I have. I just don't have enough time to work on the site, but I will try to find to and work on the site, don't worry bout that. Expect less updates than usual since summer is over. Nevertheless, I will still continue to improve this site. During my absence, to my surprise, this site still had a great amount of visitors. The site has racked up more than 85,000 hits in counting since grand opening in late August of last year. Thanks for everyone for visiting, making this site the most popular Pokemon site on the Geocities server. I will continue to do my best to live up to the standards of what some visitors call the "best Pokemon info website"... Updating Here and There! - 9/09/01 Well, haven't had really much major updates lately, we're all busy aren't we? School year is here, but this site will continue (this site grand opened within a couple days before the school year started, what a horrible time to start... lol). Anyways, the amount of visitors to this site had been growing ever since day one. August became the busiest month ever supassing the past record of amount of visitors in July. How popular was the site in August you say? Well, lets just say that the site had to shut down some couple hours at some point during the month because too much people were accessing the site! In updates, The Hits Statistics page, and some news articles have been added. As always, I'm planning/working on pages to add on the site. See ya next time and come back soon... Update on Picture Errors! - 8/26/01 The Crystal Animations and the Anime picture galleries are still not working properly. I'm still trying to fix the problem, it will take a while. Fan fics Jess's Story and The War has been updated. The Crystal Special Features page in the Crystal section has been updated with some minor changes and some corretions to misleading info. August 28 is the day this site turns 1 year in the making. With almost 70,000 hits in the main page alone and over 400,000 hits with all the pages combined, this is way beyond my expectations. Thanks to all that visit my site to make all this possible... Fixing Some Picture Errors! - 8/15/01 Pictures in the 1-251 Anime Pictures and 152-251 Crystal Animations sections are not working properly. I'll try to fix it as soon as possible. A new type of sections is being created, which is Fakes. Currently, a Fakes: Diamond & Jade can be found under the Fakes column. Also, if you haven't noticed already, the Episode Weekly Schedule has been updated with this week's Pokemon episodes. Recently there has been many entries made in the Guest Book, I appreciate all the comments in there. If you haven't already, drop a comment in the Guest Book section. This site will turn one year in the making in less than 2 weeks. For almost a year now, I have been working on this site. When this site turns 1 year of age, at this rate, this site might be able to reach the 70,000 hit mark... Pokemon Crystal Walkthrough! - 8/09/01 I'm back from my vacation trip, and I have added a Crystal Walkthrough page that many visitors were asking for. You can find the Crystal Walkthrough page in the Pokemon Crystal section. The Crystal Walkthrough lists step by step on what you are suppose to do in each and every area of the game. You shouldn't have too much trouble with Pokemon Crystal with this walkthrough. Fan fiction that has been updated: US In Distress Series, Jess's Story, and Little Dragons. US In Distress now has a total of 14 chapters. As many of you many know already, I was on a vacation trip for a week. During that time, this site recieved many visitors. So many that it broke the record for amount of visitors for a week. This proves to me that my site can be just as popular eventhough I'm not here updating. Also, the month of July broke the record of January 2001 for the record of most visitors in a month. And because of that, we have reached the 60,000 hits mark in lightning speed... Some Fan Fics Updated, and Some Important Announcements! - 7/23/01 Some of the fan fics has been updated with new chapters, so if you've been following the fan fics, go check it out. If you haven't yet seen the fan fics yet, you should! Each fan fic is written by a different person that devoted their time to to write these creative stories, each one of them are very unique. I have been making some minor changes, such as adding the location to TM43 for Gold/Silver and fixing some links to some pictures in the picture galleries - that kind of stuff. If you find anything not working on the site or some kind of mistake on the site, tell me about it. All contact info can be found near the bottom of the main page of the site. I have two important announcements. First, I will not accept anymore fan fics because I have enough already. Thanks to all that contributed their time to writing fan fics for this site and those that wanted to help. The response I got from fan fics is way above my expectations. Second, I will be on vacation trip this week, so I won't be making any updates until I get back which will be sometime early August. I also won't be able to answer any emails until I get back. See ya then... New Mystery Gift and Release Dates Pages! - 7/10/01 The Mystery Gift page is now compelte, you can find that in the Gold/Silver section. The Release Dates page is made, you can find that in the main page under the Special column. If you are a long time visitor of this site, you may have noticed that I added a useful feature to the site. There is a mini-update area under where the fan fics are in the main page. Sometimes I will just make a little announcement over there about new pages or updates so you know whats going on. On to other things, many of the fan fiction has been updated, which include Jess's Story, Hero's Adventure, Little Dragons, and Pokemon Generation: 2001. Also, two new fan fics are added as well which is Pokemon Genesis and PKDG Trilogy. When I decided to add fan fiction to the site, I had no idea how successful it would be and how many people would be willing to submit fan fiction (something I don't need to worry about anymore). The fan fiction turned out to be a great addition to the site... Strategy Capturing Pokemon Page Done! - 7/06/01 Ok, the Strategy Capturing Pokemon page is done, you can find it in the Pokemon Gold/Silver section. There were problems earlier with the page, the link didn't link to that page, but its fixed now. The fan fiction is comming along great, with already 9 fan fictions already. Pokemon Generation is updated up to chapter 5 now. The Lemna Chronicles fan fiction is also updated, it is now up to chapter 9. There are also new fictions just added such as After Games and Little Dragons. This site gathered its 45,000th hit on 7/02/01, it went by so quickly, that I didn't have enough time to say something about it. Anyways, after the 50,000th hit mark is reach, every 10,000 hits from then on will be recorded in the Hits Statistics page. The Famous Decks 2 and Mystery Gift page is what I'm currently working on (Mystery GIft page is done, its in the Gold/Silver section. I will get those up on the site as soon as possible... A Total of 8 Different Fan Fictions! - 7/03/01 As you can see, I've been busy lately dealing with the fan fics. We now have a total of 8 fan fics, all of them which are very well writen. I also have been spending a lot of time doing the news, some interesting news today. I've have a list of things that I want to add to the site. Right now, it looks like the another famous decks section will be made. This time, the Famous Decks 2 will contain more current famous decks from the East STS 2001 tournament. So look for that soon. A Mystery Gift page and a Catching Pokemon Strategy page will be added to the Pokemon Gold/Silver section. The Mystery Gift page will explain everything about the new feature, and also it will have pictures of every single room decoration you can get as well as some useful information. The Catching Pokemon Strategy will have a strategy that I have always used, from Red to Silver I used it ever since and has been working out great for me. Thats it for now... Some New Additions To The Site! - 6/28/01 Recently, the Pokemon Stats page for Pokemon Gold/Silver has been added. However, I'm still having trouble with the sorting. You know, where you can sort the stats so you can see which Pokemon have higher defense, attacks, etc. Well, I can't seem to get it working, and I don't think I will be able to spend more time on it. I need to move on to other things on the site. Fan fiction, that is something is red hot right now. So far, I have four very high quality fan fiction up on the site, with a fifth one comming shortly. Some of the fan fiction has been updated, along with the new fan fiction, Pokemon Generation: 2001. So go check it out. Right now, I'm not going to say what I will be working on, simply due to the fact that even I don't know what I will be working on. Don't get me wrong, I have plenty of ideas, I just don't know which ones I will get to when I actually start working on them. Like the Decks section (the huge update), I never thought I would get to that this early, but I did. So we'll see what comes next... A Complete Makeover of the Decks Section! - 6/21/01 It took me a long time, but I managed to edit every single page in the decks section. Now, it should be a bit more organized than before. Not only that, I also updated the Decks section as well. The Decks section is now updated with theme decks that include Gym Challenge, NEO Genesis, and newly released, NEO Discovery theme decks. The "US In Distress" fan fiction has been updated with another chapter, the story is now up to chapter 5. If you haven't seen the fan fiction yet, you should give it a try, they're very well written with a creative storyline. About the Pokemon Stats page I was going to work on (metioned in last update), it might take me a bit longer than expected. As of now, I might get it up on the site on Saturday, and the ability to sort out the stats from highest to lowest will be available sometime after I finished the main page for the stats page. The main page of the stats page will be in the order of the Pokemon number from 1 to 251. I will make separate pages so that you can see which Pokemon has highest Attack stats, Defense stats, etc... Fan Fiction Updates and More! - 6/19/01 The current two Pokemon fan fictions we have right now is updated with new chapters that I recieved from its author. As of now, "The Lemna Chronicles" is up to chapter 6, and "US In Distress" is up to chapter 4. Be sure to check those out if you haven't already. For the record, I just want to state that this site recorded its 40,000th hit on 6/15/01. Right now, I'm working on a Pokemon Stats page for Pokemon Gold/Silver, these stats will also work for Pokemon Crystal since they are simular. The Pokemon stats page will tell you what kind of stats you can expect from a specific Pokemon. So now you can find out how strong your Pokemon really is with the Pokemon stats page that I'm working on. You can also sort the list so that it shows the Pokemon with the highest stats in a certain area such as attack, defense, special attack, hit points, etc. For example, if you need a Pokemon with high defense, you will be able to find out easily which Pokemon has the best defensive stats. Expect the stats page up on the site some time soon... Added Four Pages to Pokemon Yellow Section! - 6/10/01 The Pokemon Yellow section got a huge update today with four new pages. Newly added was Walkthrough, Pokemon Skills, Yellow Pokedex, and Shopping List. Those pages should be very helpful to those that are playing Pokemon Yellow version. I just got two brand new chapters for the Lemna Chronicles from its creator, known as Magikarp3. The fan fiction Lemna Chronicles is now updated with chapter 3 and 4. Also, the fan fiction US In Distress Series was newly added. A new system for the Episode Weekly Schedule has been figuired out, check out that page and you will see what I mean. The Top 10 List was updated recently. Thats about it. See ya laters... Pokemon Fan Fiction! - 6/03/01 I spent some time thinking what to add to my site. Well, I have Pokemon games, trading card game, price guides, pictures, news, a huge data base for Pokemon Gold/Silver, etc. I thought I got all the main parts of Pokemon in general covered, but theres still one more thing, fan fiction. Since I already have a handful to do to maintain this website, I got some other people to help me out with the fan fiction. Thanks a lot to those that are helping me out. There is already one fan fiction up already, more will come later on. You can become a fan fiction writer too, just go to the Submit Fan Fiction page. Summer vacation is almost here, for some people, they're already out of school. Ofcourse, this translates to more free time for almost everybody. The fan fiction is a perfect fit for this time of the year, with your free time, you can spend it reading these stories. And I will have more time to add even more stuff to the site. I have a lot of plans for this site, so check back soon... 35,000 Hits Reached and Updates! - 5/25/01 Another milestone is once again reached. 40,000 hits is our next goal. The Hit Statistics page has been updated with the achievement. Another page has been added to the Pokemon Gold/Silver section, Shiny Pokemon page. That will tell you everything you need to know about the Shiny Pokemon in Pokemon Gold/Silver. The Top 10 List is updated with the hottest sections, the new Pokemon pictures are getting very popular. The Site Map is updated with the newest additions to the site. A news story has also been posted, there aren't much interesting Pokemon news right now. Lots of focus has been on Gamecube and Gamebody Advance. As well as the upcomming release of Pokemon Crystal. Thats all for this update fans, have a great Memorial Day weekend... Surprise, Surprise! 350 Pictures Added! - 5/17/01 I haven't done much lately because of all the work needed to get the pictures up. Finally, after many uploads and creating the pages itself, 350 pictures are added to the site. The pictures are split into 2 different pages, the 1-251 Anime Pictures and the 152-251 Crystal Animations page. The 1-251 Anime Pictures contain pictures that look like what you would expect from the Pokemon TV series. The 152-251 Crystal Animations page contain images from the soon to be release game, Pokemon Crystal. Pokemon Crystal will have the Pokemon animated in battle. So the images in that page will contain Pokemon pictures animating exactly the same you would see in Pokemon Crystal version. I'm planning to add a Unown Pictures page soon. Hopefully that will get on the site soon. Go check out the pictures... Some Updates For Sunday! - 5/13/01 A Pokemon Happiness page has been added to the Pokemon Gold/Silver section. A lot of people had many questions concerning Pokemon happiness, so that should help out. It will describe to you how the Pokemon Happiness system works. It also tells you what to do to make your Pokemon happy, and what not to do to make your Pokemon unhappy. There are currently 38 different pages in the Gold/Silver section. And yes, I still have more stuff to add to there. The PE2K Logos page has been updated with now including HTML codes for your use. If you want to put one of those logos on your page, use the HTML codes. The Episode Weekly Schedule has been updated as well for next week's shows. However, there are a couple shows that the episodes are unknown as of now. If I find out what those episodes are before hand, I will update the page. See ya next time... Pokemon Crystal Section Up! - 5/05/01 The release of Pokemon Crystal is somewhat near, a Pokemon Crystal page has been created to get you ready for it. For now, there is only a Special Features page. Go check that out if you don't know much about Pokemon Crystal. Crystal is scheduled to be released sometime around June 2001 in the USA. As promised, two new pages has been added to the Gold/Silver section, which are Legendary Dogs and Ruins of Alph: Unown. Those pages includes some helpful information. For future updates, I will probably add more to the Crystal section as more information about it is gathered. I will continue to add even more to the Gold/Silver page. After Saturday, the Episode Weekly Schedule will probably be updated with upcoming episodes during Sunday. This is the beginning of the Pokemon Crystal page... 30,000 Hits For Pokemon Elite 2000! - 4/28/00 It has been exactly 8 months since I started my website, and on the 8th month anniversary this site has collected over 30,000 hits! Great work visitors, the new goal is now set at 40,000. In updates, the new page PE2k Logos is up on the site. You can find that on the main page under the Site column. New Pokemon cursors is added to the Pokemon Mouse Cursors page. Instead of choosing Mew for your cursor, now you can choose Pikachu, Meowth, Charizard, Chansey, Dratini, Voltorb/Electrode, or Houndoom. All instruction on how to change your mouse cursor into a Pokemon is found in that page. The Episode Weekly Schedule will actually be updated before Monday. So check that out if you want to know what Pokemon episodes are going to be showed through the week of 4/30/01 to 5/06/01. The new Celebi pictures on the main page will be staying there. Which reminds me, a Pokemon Crystal version page will be created. Since it's release date is near. Remember to come back and check out the Pokemon Crystal page... Episode Weekly Schedule Updated! - 4/24/01 Alright, I got the schedule for this week's Pokemon episodes up. I haven't added anything new to the site yet, but I will be making some new sections. There will be new cursors added to the Pokemon Mouse Cursors page. That might be done after I finish this update entry. I will be adding more to the Gold/Silver page for sure. Which will include a page that has info and tips on how to catch the Legendary Dogs, and another page that is dedicated to the Unown at the Ruins of Alph. I guess that the Gold/Silver has finally got enough info in it, since the number of Gold/Silver related questions I get through the email has dropped very low. Which is good because now I don't have to spend my time helping everybody individually. I also have some other new sections I had in mind, so I have enough things to work with for a while... Been Fixing Some Bugs On Some Pages! - 4/21/01 Some of the older pages I built a long time ago needed some editing so that it will it will look a bit better. Thats what I've been working on, maintaining the quality of the site. I've been also working on the Episode Guide. But folks, with over 150 something episodes, it will take a quite a while. So don't be expecting a Episode Guide on the website just yet. This weekend, I will be adding more to the Gold/Silver section. Sorry about the Episode Weekly Schedule not being updated. I thought I did, but I obviously I forgot to save what I did. I created 3 different logo pictures for the site. One is a banner, the other a medium sized banner, and a small button. I page will be created with the three images so that you can see them. That will be titled PE2K Logos. By the way, we're almost at 30,000 hits... Friday 13th Means Good Luck! - 4/13/01 Its Friday 13th, but things aren't going bad here in this site (at least, not yet). Today may mean good luck to some because I just added 4 new very helpful pages into the Gold/Silver section. How helpful? Well, how does this sound: pictures showing you how to get to Pokemon such as Tyrogue, Lugia, and Ho-oh sound? I did just that. The pages, Finding Tyrogue, Finding Lugia, and Finding Ho-oh can be found in the Gold/Silver section. Those pages will show pictures with arrows showing you exactly where you need to go in order to get to that Pokemon. The other page I just created is titled Ice Path Maps. Its exactly what the title says it is, maps of the Ice Path. If you are stuck or just can't seem to get through the Ice Path, check that out. All the pages in both the Cards and Decks sections are all edited. I edited those pages so that it would be a bit more organized, very minor edits though. After getting some feedback from some visitors, I found that the Episode Guide isn't that important. So that will be canceled for now, and time will be spent on other things. Oh yeah, one other thing. I'm still adding more to the Gold/Silver section... Added Two New Page to Gold/Silver Section! - 4/07/01 The two brand new additions to the Gold/Silver section are Item Locations and Kanto Shopping List. The Item Locations has a complete list of all item locations in the Gold/Silver game. Any item you are looking for, its there. However, TM/HM locations are in the TM/HM List. So go there for TM/HM locations. The Kanto Shopping List tells you what items are sold and price of the item at certain places in Kanto. A Johto Shopping List was in the Gold/Silver section long ago. Including the two new pages just added, this makes a total of 31 different pages in the Gold/Silver section. Not bad. This site got it's 25,000th hit on 4/04/01, which was recorded in the Hit Statistics page. Now our new goal is at a near 30,000. Which I expect this site to get there in no time. By the way, go see Pokemon 3 The Movie... Episode Guide Delayed For Now! - 4/03/01 I change my mind really quickly. I under estimated the amount of work that was needed to create the Episode Guide, so its going to take a while. In the meanwhile, I will be creating some other pages to add on the site. In current updates, the Episode Weekly Schedule is updated for this week. Notice that the times for Saturday changed a bit. Some pages are experiencing problems with the font, but I have fixed most of the pages the contain some kind of font problems. Every once in a while, I will delete some postings in the Guestbook. This way the GuestBook will be much more easier to read. Other than the Episode Guide, I have some other pages I want to create. A lot of visitors has been asking for pictures of Pokemon 152-251. I will see if I can put up some pictures of 152-251 that are simular to the pictures in the 1-151 Pokemon Pictures section (note that the "Pokemon Pictures" section's name has been changed, "1-151" is added to the front of it). And a Items Location page for Gold/Silver is going to be added... Episode Guide To Be Created! - 3/31/01 I have planned to do an Episode Guide. For those that don't know what that is, episode guides are just summaries of what happens in a certain episode. As you may know, there is well over a hundred episodes already shown here in the USA. So I will have lots to cover. I will put 10 episodes on each page, which will reduce the loading time of the page and easier browsing. The episode guide will be kept up to date. All the new Johto episodes will be included in the Episode Guide. When will this be on the site? Good question. It really depends on how much free time I have. I'm pretty sure that nothing new will be added to the site before the Episode Guide. So the Episode Guide is my top priority right now, and I will do my best to put it on the site as soon as possible. For those wondering, I will be adding more to the Gold/Silver page. I will definately add something new to the Gold/Silver page after I'm done with the Episode Guide. Well, I better start working on it... Huge Update On Gold/Silver Section! - 3/24/01 I wasn't no where near done with the Gold/Silver section just yet. I added 6 more pages into Gold/Silver section, which includes: Walkthrough (finally), TM/HM In Depth (a little different from TM/HM List), Item Descriptions (description of all items found in Gold/Silver), Attaching Items (tells you all items that can be attached to a Pokemon and where it is found), Tree Berries (complete info on all berries), and Phone Numbers (a list of all people and their locations that you can get their numbers from). Also, the Pokemon Types Chart page is completely redone. This new one will have better information about a type's defensive strengths, weaknesses, immune to, offensive advantages, disadvantages, and some certain types will have some side notes to further explain the type... New Price Guide and New Gold/Silver Page! - 3/21/01 Here's another update that includes some brand new sections. The Price Guide Neo Genesis is up on the site now. The Price Guides are a great way to see how much your collection of cards and certain card is worth. Yep, another page is added to the Gold/Silver section. The GS Pokedex contains huge information on every single Pokemon from 1 to 251. The Pokdex will tell you the following things: Pokemon number, Pokemon name, when it will learn attacks, TMs/HMs it can learn, breeding moves, breeding compatibility, Gold/Silver entries, and Gold/Silver locations. Thats right, all Pokemon from 1 to 251 from all that information with it. Not bad, huh? I'm not done with the Gold/Silver section just yet, I still have more stuff to add. Now go see those new pages... I'm Not Gone, I'm Just Sick (cough)! - 3/20/01 (cough) Its been a long time since I updated this site, because I have been very sick lately. Now that I'm starting to feel more better, I'm starting school again, which made things even worse. Now I have a lot of work to make up for the time I was gone sick. Nevertheless, I did manage to find some time to work on my site. The Episode Weekly Schedule is now updated, many visitors emailed me about that. Did a little maintainence around the site, keeping information up to date. News is added and as you can see, I'm adding to the Updates column. Nothing much new, I hope I can get a couple new sections up soon. But I'm trying to focus on updating the stuff I already have, so be patient everybody. Eventhough I have not yet decided what to work on, I think its going to be another picture gallery. Gotta go... The Return of the Message Board! - 03/08/01 After the Geocities removed it's message board feature, I had to find an alternative board. I came across two websites that provides message boards. I felt the Coolboard.com had quality and efficient boards, so I decided to use it. You can know use the message board, the link is in the Message Board page. Today marks the first day of the new message board, and also marks the day Pokemon Elite 2000 got its 20,000th visit. Thanks to all visitors that come to this site often to make the 20,000 hits possible. Today also marks the day of the retirement of the Skating Pikachu online game page. The website that hosted the game deleted the game, so the game is no longer available for use. The only online game remaining on the site is the Diglett Bash. I will try to get more online games on the site. In updates, the Episodes Weekly Schedule is now finally updated. There were some technical difficulties during the beginning of the week, but got it up just in time for a sneak peek at Friday and Saturday episodes. Thats all for now folks... Message Board Is Really Gone This Time! - 03/03/01 Well, last year I removed the Message Board temporarily due to lack of use, but this time I didn't do the removing. The server I use no longer make available the message board feature, which is not that big of a problem. Its now replaced with a GuestBook instead, which is basically the same thing. The GuestBook however, will be used in a different way the message board did. This time, visitors can ask questions on the GuestBook and professional Kurt Handley (#2 ranked GB player in the USA last year in Nationals) will answer questions. Pokemon team ratings and advice will also be done in the GuestBook area. I have not done this yet, but soon I will set some options on the GuestBook so that only posts that I approve of is shown in the GuestBook. Then those will be answered by Kurt Handley. I will start this as soon as I can. By the way, if you read the last update's post, I missed the episode. Again... Episode Weekly Schedule Updated! - 02/26/01 The schedule is now updated for this week's episodes. We are going to get one new episode this week which is "Good 'Quil' Hunting" coming this Saturday. I also noticed that "Bye, Bye Psyduck" is going to show Thursday. For those that know me well, I have been cursed not to see that episode. I haven't seen that episode ever, and when I know its going to be on, I always miss it for some reason. Well, I hope that I can finally get to see "Bye, Bye Psyduck" this time around. I'm creating a page for that... Pokemon For Dummies Page Is Up! - 02/22/01 Ah yes, the highly requested page mostly by parents is now up on the site. The Pokemon For Dummies page teaches the basics of Pokemon. It also describes how Pokemon TV series started off. Everything from Pokemon trainers to Pokemon Gyms are all explained there. I might do another Pokemon For Dummies, in which the new one will contain a further explanation of Pokemon. This is only a possibility, we will see how things go. Kurt and I has been anxiously waiting for news from Sabrina. If you don't know what I'm talking about, go to the page Kurt Handley's Page. In that page Kurt (#2 Pokemon Gameboy ranked player), will be writing some very special Pokemon articles, and later will contain other pages as well. Kurt Handley Joins Pokemon Elite 2000! - 02/16/01 If you haven't notice already, a new page is up titled "Kurt Handley's Page" under the Special column. Kurt Handley was placed 2nd place in the year 2000 in the Nationals tournament here in the USA. Kurt will creating many pages, including news and special articles, or whatever he can think of. There is another page added to the Gold/Silver section, again. The Special Pokemon section will include very helpful information such as stone evolutions, happiness evolutions, Pokemon game prizes, in game Pokemon trades, and more. I told ya I'm not yet finished with the Gold/Silver section. Now that the Gold/Silver section is packed with resources, I might be working on some other projects. In other updates, the Site Map and Top Ten List is updated. See ya next time... Usual Updates On Various Pages! - 02/12/01 The Episode Weekly Schedule section is updated for this week's show times. The Episode List page is also updated with the newest episodes. The Hits Statistics is also updated with the 15,000th hit for this site. Congradulation visitors, we got to the 15,000 mark. Our next goal is 20,000, which will come soon with the number of visitors this site is getting. I am currently planning some new section to add to the site. This planning will be neccesary to so that it will be organized and efficient. I think that my site has touched on most of the important areas of Pokemon, which include Pokemon games, TCG prices, online games, Pokemon pictures, episodes, news, etc. And ofcourse, this site is now famous for its Pokemon Gold/Silver page. Which brings up something I have to say, the "Gold/Silver Edition" (the decoration of the main page) will stay for a long time. Most visitors and I agree on this is the best edition. This will be the default edition, meaning if the edition changes, sooner or later it will change back to the Gold/Silver Edition... Three All New Section in Gold/Silver! - 02/07/01 Major update visitors! The highly anticipated GS Evolutions (Number), GS Evolutions (Types), and GS Locations (A-Z) is up and ready. I keep getting emails about this, and finally these three very helpful sections can be found inside Pokemon Gold/Silver. The GS Evolutions (Number) section tells you about the evolutions by the Pokemon's number. The GS Evolutions (Types) section tells you about evolutions according to the Pokemon's type. So which ever way is easiest for you, its there for you. GS Locations, is the most requested section I have ever got, I could see why though. All Pokemon locations in Pokemon Gold/Silver can be found at the GS Locations (A-Z). Its in alphabetical order for easy finding. Including these three new pages, the Pokemon Gold/Silver section now contains 21 sections. Think I have it all there? Not yet. I'm still planning to add more to Pokemon Gold/Silver... Two New Sections Added To Gold/Silver! - 02/04/01 Added to the Pokemon Gold/Silver section are Daily Events and Important Events. The Daily Events page will tell you what is happening during the certain day of the week. For example, it lists when the hair cut brothers are open for business and when the S.S. Aqua sets sail. The Important Events basically keeps track of all the major events that happens in Gold/Silver, all events go in order of the game. If you are stuck at some point of the game, the Important Events section night help. I will be adding more to the Pokemon Gold/Silver as soon as possible. I've been getting requests for Pokemon evolutions/locations related sections. I'm currently working on those. It will take a lot of typing, so it might take while until it is done. In other updates, the Episode Weekly Schedule is update with the upcoming Pokemon episdoes on WB. Two all new episodes will be showing this coming Saturday... The Pokemon Gold/Silver Edition Is Back! - 02/02/01 Ever since the Pokemon Silver/Gold Edition was replaced by some other edition, I have been getting requests to bring back the Gold and Silver. Well, here it is. I think this edition looks great, and I plan to have it for a more longer time than I usually do. In other updates, a new section called the Pokemon Mouse Cursors is now avaible for viewing. That section teaches you how to keep the Pokemon cursors that can be seen at the main page of this site. You can use the Pokemon cursors even when you are not online. It also teaches how to get back your original cursor as well. Very simple, and no downloading is required. The Past News and Updates are updated. The site map is also updated with the newest additions to the site. And more will be added in the Gold/Silver section shortly... 5 Month Aniversary of Pokemon Elite 2000! - 01/28/01 Thats right, for 5 months this site has been supplying visitors with resources and lots of info. Ofcourse, more will be added to the site and this site will only get better. In updates, the Gold/Silver FAQ page will difinitely be updated with more FAQs. As I get more questions from emails, I will be adding more to the Gold/Silver FAQ. The price guides is now edited, the main column that was edited was the "type" column. I am currently working on more pages for the Pokemon Gold/Silver section. The Pokemon Gold/Silver section is probably one of the best features of Pokemon Elite 2000. That section generated more hits than any other section. A new picture section might come soon when I upload all the pictures I need to post. I'm looking forward to see that getting done. See ya next time... Gold/Silver FAQ Completed! - 01/25/01 The Gold/Silver FAQ (Frequently asked questions) page is done, but there is a possibility that more will be added in the future. I decided to not create a Gold/Silver Walkthrough due to the time it would take. That time can be well spent on other part of the website. The Gold/Silver FAQ section can act like a walkthrough. The Site Map is updated with the newest addtions to the site. And the Top 10 List was updated not long ago. The Episodes Weekly Schedule has been updated during the beginning of the week. Its only three days away from this site's 5 month anniversary. Eventhough 5 months of work and effort has gone into this site, there are still more to be done. I still have many more plans for this site as it grows and the visitor number increases... Adding New Sections Shortly! - 01/22/01 I am planning to add a couple more sections later on this week. One of them will include a Pokemon Gold/Silver Walkthrough which was widely suggested by visitors. Also, a FAQ (frequently asked questions) section will be created. Before, there was no problem for me and my volunteer Pokemon Helpers to help everybody individually. But the number of emails I now get is too much to handle. Hopefully, the FAQ section for Gold/Silver will minimize the number of questions I get. There is a lot of typing involved, so it might take while to be finished. I expect to add some new sections this weekend. In other updates, I will stop doing any statements for every 1000 hits. The number of visitors has been growing to the point where I have to do a news on hits every once in a while. So I will extend the 1000 hits to every 5000 hits for a statement in the news... Updating and More Updating! - 01/16/01 The Episode Weekly Schedule was updated earlier this week with the Pokemon the series schedule. Mainly going through the storyline about Ash battling through the Pokemon League. Site Going Through Updates! - 01/13/01 I decided to let the Year 2001 Edition of Pokemon Elite 2000 to stay a bit longer, so a new edition might come up sometime later. Some links to pages weren't working properly, those were fixed. If you find a link that doesn't work, please contact me so that I can fix it. The Hits Stats section is updated with the new 9000th hit, and the Site Map is updated with all the new section on the site. Using the Site Map will allow you to see the entire site in just one page. Making searching for specific things much more easier. The price guides for the Pokemon Trading Card Game is being edited. The type/color column is being redone. The price guides is probably the one main source Pokemon Elite 2000 has been missing, but now we have it. If you have any idea on a new section, contact me... 7 Price Guides Added For TCG! - 01/08/01 I added 7 informative price guides for the Pokemon Trading Card Game. Remember there is no "official" and "correct" prices for cards. The prices listed is an estimate on the value of the card in retail stores. All current Pokemon sets price guides are up except for the recent release Pokemon TCG set, Neo Genesis. I will have the price guide for NEO Genesis as soon as possible. The Top 10 List is updated with the hottest sections and my picks. Make note that the Pokemon Episode Guide is now renamed to Episode Weekly Schedule. There was yet another confusion on what the section contained, so it is now called Episode Weekly Schedule. In other updates, Pokemon Elite 2000 was unavailable for viewing over the weekend due to server problems. The site has now gain back online status today. The new edition of Pokemon Elite 2000 will come soon... Yet Another Addition To Gold/Silver Section! - 01/03/01 Just when you think that the Pokemon Gold/Silver section has it all with sections like screen shots, attacks list, Pokemon list, Johto/Kanto gym leaders, Pokemon moves chart, GS Pokedex entries, and more. I just keep adding more to the Pokemon Gold/Silver section. I don't lie, when I say "More Sections For Gold/Silver Is Coming Soon" (stated in the Gold/Silver section), I mean it. The newest section is the Johto Shopping List section that contains information about PokeMarts and other places that sell various items. It includes the place in which the stuff is sold, and the price of each item that can be bought is also shown. Very creative section don't you think? I'm still thinking of more sections that I can add to Gold/Silver, so until then enjoy the huge directory in the Gold/Silver section.
