Pokemon Emerald: #1 Selling Game in May!

Pokemon Emerald took the #1 spot for the best selling game in May according to the NPD Group. Thanks to Pokemon Emerald and Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, it helped push a 30% increase in sales compared to the same month last year.

Brennan Hawkins: Did my Pokemon cards arrive yet?

After being lost in the Utah forest for four days, Brennan Hawkins is making a quick recovery to normal life. In fact, one of the first things he asked his parents was whether his order of Pokemon cards from Ebay arrived yet.

Jody Hawkins (Brennan's mother), said that one of the first things Brennan asked about was whether the Pokemon cards he bought on eBay last week had arrived.

"I tell you, that's what got him off that mountain," she said. "They were here."

Usohachi's Official English Name: Bonsly!

The official sites, Pokemon.com and Pokemon-Games.com, has revealed that Pokemon known as Usohachi will have the English name of Bonsly. The Pokemon Bonsly is a pre-evolution of Sudowoodo. It will make it's first debut appearance in Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness.

Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness will be released in Japan on August 4, 2005. The US release date is set for October 2005.

The Pokemon TCG Gym Challenges are held from June 11th, 2005 through June 26th, 2005. The top 8 finishers in each of the three age groups will receive prizes.

1st Place

- An invitation to the Pokemon TCG World Championships in 2005

- A travel award for the winner (and parent or legal guardian for players under 18) to the 2005 World Championships

- 36 booster packs of the most current Pokemon TCG expansion

2nd Place

Pikachu's Ghost Festival!

ANA, All Nippon Airways, will begin showing "Pikachu's Ghost Festival" on flights beginning on August 1st through August 31st. The new Pokemon mini movie will feature Pikachu, Munchlax, and many other Pokemon.
