Search on Route 20, in the patch of grass to the right of Fortree City. You'll be getting Zigzagoons for a while, but you'll find an Absol if your lucky.

Not only is it rare to find, it's really difficult to catch. :dazed: I suggest the classic weaken and put-to-sleep technique followed by a ton of Ultra Balls.

I actually have 2 Absols. I found on my game the best place to look is that maze like place at the bottom of route 120. And the weak-n-sleep method does work best.

When I started to look for an Absol, I started to look to the right of Forttree and the first try I encountered one. I used a master ball...(refer to my sig) lol

Absol is a b**** to catch. I found one, but wasn't expecting it, and when I found it I really wanted to catch it so I could ditch my lvl. 10 Sableye. But it jumped out of an Ultra Ball :eek: .

After several more days of searching, I found another, and is now a happy, Lvl. 50 little Physical Sweeper.

yea i think you can actualy find a tropius and an absol in the same place, i have both. :razz:

Yes you can, I caught one in Emerald.

Tropius can be found to the left of Fortree, right. Mine is a lvl. 45 Sunnybeamer with Fly and Stomp for fun.
