You probably looked at this thread and wondered, huh?

As you know in forum battles, whoever posts first can be at a great disadvantage. Which is why i like matches which have this format

1st Post

Rules

Sends out Mon

2nd Post

sends out Mon and calls attack.

3rd post

attacks

That gives the player who sends his mon first a chance at balancing it out by attacking second.

However i often see this

1st post

Rules

Sends mon

2nd post

sends mon

3rd post

sends attack

4th post

sends another attack.

This of course puts the thread maker at a serious disadvantage.

Another thing I dislike is people who use things with Counter and Mirrior coat, and wait it out, knowing that their opponent will eventually crack, and then they'll post the repective reflecting attack.

I think a set battle format should be set. Basically it would start out using the style of posting I posted first, making it so the two competitors start out more or less evenly. Then that whoever made the thread, has to attack first after the first round is complete. Then next round the other contestant would attack, and it would alternate for the rest of the match.

Tell me what you think.

Yeah, it seems reasonable, but I just use Colleseum/Stadium.

Exactly the samet thing that can be done in GSC or RSE rules. It's part of the game, and it will stay like that. If you want to even things out, take turns in sending the attack first.

First part you said was okay but the second part where you said that battlers takesturns it may take longer time to post and finish battle.

No. It wouldn't take much if any longer.

And Rhauk I thnik you misunderstand. Yes this would be applied to all kids of forum battles. ONLY forum battles.
