I just name my Pokemon whatever the most recent name I heard on TV was. My Jolteon is named Johnny, cause I got Eevee during one of them John Basedow comercials:tongue:
Maybe you could name them their Japanese names.

Only two of my party Pokemon have japanese names

Blastoise- Mizutaiho - It means Water Cannon
Swampert- Kaeru - It means Frog (Yes, I am awair Swampert is not really a frog)

Charizard...That pokemon eludes and air of majesty. I highly suggest 'Apollo' the Greecian god of the sun. He rides a chariot high into a the sky every morning, pulling his hefty cargo of the sun across the sky. Very much like how a charizard flies and has a flames on its tail, don't you agree?

A Typhlosion throws it's weight around by 'rubbing its blazing fur together to cause massive explosions' (pokedex - firered) But when it's flames are down, it looks meek and harmless. A surprise for all who battle it.
Such trickery would remind me strongly of the Norse god, Loki, the 'Mischief maker', and the god of fire who had been punished and locked up until Ragnarok rolls around.

A Meganium is a giant flowering animal, perhaps try the plant name it plays host to; the ‘Hibiscus’.
Think of the meganinium's colour, it's green and red, the very same colours that appear when the juice of the hibiscus is added to alkalis and acids respectively.

A Delkatty is demure, like a model on the catwalk. But, like the model, it can also be doubtful, like the way it nevers nests in the same place twice and sleeps where it chooses.
I think the perfect name would be 'Sashay', the term used to describe the momement models tend to do on the catwalk and a solid term for 'sash'. A similar item, the silk scarf raises normal attacks.

As for the dragon-bird siblings, pick what you would like.:oops:

Typholsion: Firey (lol)
Meganium: Lefanza (fancy leffy)
Delcatty: Kuro. Kool! Kuro is a music-downloading engine here in taiwan.
